Really, the best value in a car I have ever experienced (Value = Performance divided by cost)! Did you know that both the cost of the 2016 Smart ForTwo Electric and beefed up home charger have tax credits to offset about 25% purchase price? Did you know that you do not have to purchase the internal battery or maintain it because you can just rent that battery? By the way, that means you save a few thousand in your initial purchase price. The cockpit is surprisingly roomy, get in one to convince yourself! We go where ever we want in town, without worries at minimal cost. I'll bet you can not find a new Smart ForTwo Electric to buy, We were told that Mercedes Benz loses $ with every purchase.

My old car was my third minivan in 15 years. Now that my kids are older and leaving for college, I wanted something that could carry 6 or 7 passengers but was ... well... NOT a minivan. I did some research on late model used three-row SUVs, and found the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. (My favorite of my three vans was a 2005 Nissan Quest, so choosing Nissan was easy for me.) Before I started browsing for cars, I applied for credit through Carvana, and was approved. Next, I entered in all of the information about the van I was trading for the Pathfinder. (Beware -- the trade-in amount is only good for 7 days, and it can change wildly in that time!) I was pleased with the trade amount, and it was great that I could shop for my new car and see my down payment and monthly payment for every car I viewed! My specifications were pretty clear -- AWD, less than 10,000 miles, and never a rental car. I found my dream car a few days later, and started the purchase process. It was quite smooth and the directions were very clear about what documents need to be uploaded. When I went to click on "finalize purchase" (or something like that), a red flag popped up...my trade-in value expired WHILE I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF CHECKING OUT! I got on chat with Carvana staff right away, and they were able to return the trade in value to NEARLY what it was before the expiration. This is something that needs to be addressed by Carvana -- once a customer is to a certain point in the process, those numbers need to be frozen. So we set a delivery time, and the Carvana rep was pretty much on time considering he was traveling 70 miles or so from the Chicago office. Everything was smooth -- signed a couple more papers, took my Pathfinder for a spin, Eric inspected my trade, and I left within 30 minutes with my new car. I would also like to add that I drove directly to my mechanic, so he could inspect the car and make sure I wasn't buying something with hidden damage. Mechanic said to me, "This car is perfect, like new." Just what I wanted to hear. Thanks Carvana! I am telling everyone I know about you guys. Good to work with you! Janet - 2017 Nissan Pathfinder

We owned a Smart Fortwo for 10 years, and decided we wanted another one when it was time. The 2016 is lightyears ahead of the 2008 we had owned. Transmission is now powerful and seamlessly shifts gears, whereas the 2008 was clunky nad slow. The body redesign is sporty, and the interior is a bit more spacious. Our only critique would be the cup holders are awkwardly placed in front of the AC controls, and are too small to accommodate a good sized drink. This is probably due to its European origins.

I'm almost 6 foot tall and i still have a few inches of headroom. i also don't have any legroom issues either. the car is surprisingly peppy for being a tiny engine in a fairly weighty car. it also has no problem handling the large hills here in MO. visibility is great with its huge windows.

This was my first car, and I my third. It is incredibly agile and fun to drive in the city. Super easy to park and very cool look. It's definitely a conversation starter! I love the way it looks and drive, but it is a 2 seater, which becomes quite useless when you decide to start a family.

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

I had not driven in 27 years because I lived in a city, so getting back to driving was a challenge, but Jim Digh made it easy and comfortable. Hello, my name is Craig N. from Riverside, Ca. Over the years, I have bought many cars, and trucks from various dealerships only to dread having to use/rely on their service departments. The reasons are many: poor customer service, incompetent and rude service members, always feeling rushed through the process, having only some of what I mentioned being addressed, being over charged for the repairs, being charged for unneeded repairs...etc...etc. Well, I have some good news- I finally discovered a dealership service department that is both fair and reliable, and doesn't practice such poor business tactics. I bought a used 2013 Smart Car for my son about one year ago. The car began to have problems shifting so I gave, "Walter's Automotive Group" of Riverside a call. From the get go, my call was promptly and professionally handled. I was put into contact with a service advisor named JR. Rodriguez. JR. was extremely polite (and most important-Patient). I told JR. this was my son's first car and that he was a college student with a very limited budget. JR. listened and understood the situation and felt the car simply needed a software update of $155.00. The car was ready the same day and the repair cost was exactly what was quoted. After driving the car for a while, it turned out the problem reoccurred, and the vehicle was brought back to the dealership. Upon inspection, the mechanics at Walters discovered it was a much more serious/costly problem than just the needed software update. JR. explained to me what was needed to repair the car, the cost, and the time needed to fix it. Feeling bad the initial software update didn't resolve the issue, JR. arranged to have the $155.00 along with an additional 10% be removed from the repair amount. JR also arranged for my son to have a 2016 Smart Car loaned out to him, at no additional cost, until all necessary repairs were completed. This is the kicker- when JR. called me about my son's car being ready for pick up, he also told me the repair bill would be nearly $100.00 less because their mechanic was able to do the repair sooner than previously thought! This was something I had never experienced before. When I first realized I was going to have my son's car fixed at a Mercedes dealership, I expected the worse. I was convinced the repairs were going to be expensive and that it would be a long time before the car would be repaired. Was I ever wrong! Not only were we treated as though we just bought the most expensive car in the place- JR. communicated with us throughout the entire repair process with all charges reflecting to the penny what JR. had originally quoted at the start. All-In-all, we saved over $300.00 on the repair, and we were never inconvenienced. For anyone interested in buying a Mercedes or Porsche, or even a Smart Car, I can't imagine a better place to go than Walter's. And for anyone wanting to have their vehicle repaired elsewhere after reading this, or not checking for themselves just how awesome this place is, is making a mistake. Fun, reliable, commuter

I picked up my 2011 earlier this year with 30k miles on it. It's a Passion with pretty much all the available options from that model year, with auto transmission and paddle-shifters. Once I got used to the automated-manual transmission, this thing is quite fun to drive. Using the paddle-shifters can really help in certain situations, too. It has plenty of pep, and moves quickly around town. Even on the freeway I find it quick and easy to get it up to 70 and to keep up with traffic. The cabin is fun, comfortable, and very spacious for the two passengers. I have more leg room and head room in this than in anything else I've owned, and I'm 6' 2", so that counts for a lot. The back hatch space isn't huge, but more than adequate for errands, light travel packing, grocery shopping, etc. I routinely get slightly more than the estimated fuel economy it is rated for, both for in town driving and freeway/combined. The ride is the biggest drawback to the Smart. Short wheelbase translates into feeling every pavement crack and chuck hole. At speed, it can be quite jarring. Also, on the freeway, tire ruts and strong winds require two hands firmly on the wheel. The optional bluetooth system (a factory option that replaces the clock in the right dash-mounted double gauges) work seamlessly with current smart phones for phone, navigation, music, etc., better in fact, than many newer cars' systems do. The "glass" roof in mine has the standard hazing effect these are prone to (makes the glass roof "sparkle" when looked through in certain sunlight conditions). I use it as my daily driver for a 12 mile commute of combined local and highway roads. The car has been very reliable, cheap to operate, comfortable, and fun to drive. It makes me smile.

In 2018 bought a 2013 smartfortwo one-owner coupe with 70,000 miles (yes!) and it runs like a brand-new car. The driver/passenger interior area is roomier than our other cars. Yes, it's a two-seater, but you know that when you decide to get one, just like a Corvette buyer is paying a lot and getting no back seat. Ever take note on the freeway how many cars have one occupant? So many that the car pool lanes are usually empty. Gas and maintenance costs are minimal. Just got a new battery because the original one died after 6 years and 70,000 miles. The local Mercedes dealer gave it a thorough inspection for us after purchase from CarMax and did not charge us a penny to do so! Only downside is that it gets no respect from other drivers, but that's okay. It is like a high-tech carnival ride, and the paddles make shifting a breeze. We use it for freeway commuting sometimes and it keeps up with the pack just fine. Wish we had gotten one sooner.

I went through Consumer Reports online option so that I could complete as much of my car search and negotiations at arm???s length. Having all the info in writing allows me to think logically, choose exactly what I need, and compare prices, values, and features. I get anxious heebee-geebees having to go up against a salesperson and decide about anything on the spot. When that happens, i always end up feeling that I???ve been bamboozled. Mostly the Consumer Reports ???True Car??? approach worked, with just a few hitches. The first big hitch is that when you sign up, you have to provide both a phone number and an email address. There is no way on the signup to indicate one???s preference for contact, or whether there is a problem with any form of contact. (For example, I???m a teacher, and it is absolutely not OK to call me during the school day, which almost all of them did.) So, within three minutes of clicking yes for quotes, my phone started ringing and dozens of emails began pouring in, sometimes from multiple agents at the same dealership. And since Consumer Reports sends the request to three different dealers, the bombardment is from three different dealerships. It???s awful. But once I reached the callers and told them to STOP CALLING and reach me only by email, the calls slowed down. The second hitch is that once my butt was in the chair for the paperwork, they came at me with unexpected offers of all kinds of extended this and that policies, special protective treatments for the paint (I kept remembering the ???True Coat??? scene in the movie ???Fargo,??? and felt a mixture of irritation and amusement. Classic car-dealership sleaze moves.) If I had known this crap was coming, I would have refused to sit down with the paperwork guys until this information had been given to me in writing so that I could go home and read it, research it, and make a cool, dispassionate, logical decision. I ended up being talked into a $3,200 service/protection plan (???only $50 a month for five years, and you get eight years of coverage!!!), and ended up angry with them and myself. Went back a few days later to deliver my final check after receiving my outside financing, and told the finance guy how annoyed I was with that add-on. He was a bit defensive at first, but then switched tactics: of course I could decline the add-on, but I???d have to wait to have it refunded by Toyota finance. WHAT? I didn???t even take Toyota finance! No luck getting him to understand how offensive it was to have them move ahead with Toyota finance when we had an agreement that I was not taking Toyota finance, and had seven days to secure my own. Whatever. I was going to have to wait for refund of the $3,200. Then they guy came at it again; I could get this policy for $1,000 less (???our employee and family discount price???)! He talked me into that. I think ??? think, not believe totally ??? that the protection plan is reasonably helpful, given all the sophisticated electronics in my vehicle. But I???m still walking around with deep resentment of the process. In the end, I got a good car with the features I wanted, at an OK price, explained well by the internet salesmen with whom I worked. I was treated respectfully, which is important to me as a woman buying on my own. But next time I???ll work hard to head off the last-minute crud at the end, and demand to have all that info in writing before I even poke my head into the office of the bookkeeping/finance guys.

Great gas mileage

I use this car for business purposes. I drive about 1500 miles per month. I live in Colorado so it’s cold in the winter. I get approximately 42 miles to the gallon in the winter and about 38 in the summer because of the air conditioning. This is definitely not a luxury vehicle but it’s really not bad especially for the price. It has a great turning radius. There is a lot more room inside then you would expect. It has a very tight suspension so you are very aware of every bump that you hit. It also has a 70 hp engine so if you expect to get from 0 to 60 in anything less than five minutes this probably isn’t the car for you. However, I have never had any issues with the car and is very reliable. I have put approximately 40,000 miles on it since I got it and it currently has 60,000. My biggest complaint with the car is that rattles regularly, like something is loose but I cannot figure out what it is. It is worth mentioning that this used to be a ’Car to Go’ and who knows what they did to it to fit it for their credit card charging systems, so this may be their fault. You can hear road noise quite a bit in this car. I love the fact that it is little and you can park it anywhere. You could make a U-turn basically anywhere. It does not go well in the snow so if you live in a snowy climate you might consider something else unless you have a winter vehicle.

It's an amazing first car. You don't buy this thing for speed. You buy it to get 45 MP/g. It uses an electric conversion so if you turn the AC off and roll down the windows, drive conservatively you can easily push that mileage through the roof. I'm 6'2 and I can comfortably sit in this bad boy. Nobody asks me for rides either! The biggest downside is getting parts. Tires, windshield, all the replacements are difficult to get, so they can be expensive. It's also cheap to buy and finance so it is also an excellent first car. It's a ton of fun to drive too. Whipping turns like nobody's business. It zooms, there's no better city car out there. Parking is also stellar. If you want to get from point A to point B cheaply? Here you go.

Excellent experience and, upgrade of entire facility since I purchased my 2006 E350 was nothing short of amazing! Even recent service from time I pulled in on Saturday 2 June early morning to the (almost) excellent car wash (found 2 beads of water running down drivers door, LOL), everything was perfect! Nicely done folks, nicely done. Scott did a great job of follow through & speed of entire crew was amazing. Have never seen anything operate so well. Even car wash was quick & well done. Coming to Benzel Busch for service is equivalent to service at a 5 star hotel. Everyone is attentive to your needs. The waiting area is very comfortable. So much so that I actually don???t mind waiting while my car is being serviced. There is a nice offering of complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks. Their loaner cars are great. I only wish they had more Smarts available as a loaner (especially electric ones). However, I???m not really complaining since I was supplied a very posh 2018 GLE 350. My complaint was when I had to give it up to get back my car! The only real complaint, if any, is that I wish the service pricing was more competitive with small business mechanics. I will continue patronizing this great place in the future.

If u only need space for 2, this is the car for you. I am a car enthusiast and use this for my daily beater. The car is more car than most give it credit for and is fun to drive as an enthusiast. It handles and is capable at freeway speed. Unfortunately there won't be anymore of the gas powered cars here in the US. I don't know that I will replace this when the lease expires with the electric. I hope that Mercedes reconsiders and brings back the gas powered version.

It doesn't get any better than Anetha Bacetti when it comes to truly exceptional service, making me feel special about my journey, and the communication before, during and after my purchase. Buying a car can be stressful enough! With all of the options, features and benefits of one of finest pieces of German machinery there is, falling into the trap of feeling overwhelmed is very easy in this process. But I have to point out that Anetha, is, was and continues to be the exception to that notion. She took all of the confusion, all of the concerns, and all of the typical baggage that comes with buying a car, completely out of our interactions and it all started with her introductory email. She was so pleasant, informative and very knowledgeable! I have been searching for a Polar White Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG 4Matic and when the perfectly equipped and accessorized vehicle showed up on their website I was immediately contacted by Anetha and right away set up an appointment! Test driving was a breeze! I already knew this was the car I wanted so prior to even coming into the dealership I already knew how much I wanted to pay for it. I do have to be honest and say that it was an aggressive offer! After confirming my choice, her and I came to a very FAIR agreement, I would even venture to say it was leaning towards being more FAVORABLE to me. She highly recommended that I purchase pre-paid maintenance, tire and wheel package and windshield, which I totally resisted at first BUT I am so thankful to God that I followed her advice! After 1 year of ownership I am so happy to report that the cost for these items have already paid for themselves even after interest was calculated, which by the way she went to bat for me and gave me a super low 2.99%!!! Because of the car's uniqueness, and the fact that it was the Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG 4Matic equipped exactly how I wanted it, that was available anywhere, I decided that the customer service I got from her early on in the sale, gave me the feeling and belief that she will take care of me after the sale as well. And that reassurance is was let me know to this day, that the money I paid for my car, was definitely worth more than the money itself. Because thru it all, I got my car, I got a great experience and I also earned her as my advocate!
