After weeks of exhaustive searching and visiting dealers across the state I had decided on the car I wanted. My journey started with 3 cars; Ford Focus, Mazda3 and the Subaru Crosstrek. I teetered between used and new, leasing and financing. I learned on the way; dealers will talk your ear off while letting you test drive distracting you so it is better to shake them if you can. I had dealers who did not listen well to me and I eventually learned you stand up and walk out. I learned owning a new with a lower APR versus a used with a higher will eventually pan out to be the same so it's best to go with new. After one unsuccessful day a friend let me drive his Subaru Impreza. I mentioned I was looking into the Crosstrek but my mind was quickly changed when I drove his 2016 Sport Premium. It is the same body with a lower suspension. The sport premium came at an additional price than the premium; it includes roof rails and fog lights. I quickly narrowed my search to a 2016 Impreza Sport Premium in Blue Quartz Pearl. I found only one in the whole state of Connecticut. It was in Danbury, an hour and a half away from me. There was no price listed and said to ask for a quote, knowing that dealers were asking for $22,500+ on average I decided to go with $22k. To my surprise I got a friendly response from April saying that they would meet me at my price. I immediately thought; what's the catch? But there did not seem to be any hidden strings. April was very patient with me, this was my first time buying a car and it proved to be stressful on me. She kept her smile on and cheery personality during my intense indecision days. It all worked out and I've been driving my new car for 2 weeks, loving it! It definitely helped that I knew what I wanted going into the dealer and that they did not pressure me into buying the car. Huge plus is that they don't slap on a dealer sticker on the back! It was worth the 70 mile drive across the state for this vehicle.

My fiance and I just moved to upstate NY and knew we needed a reliable car for the snowy, hilly region. Our neighbor highly recommended Brewster Subaru, so we thought we'd give it a try. Upon arrival, we met Fred Fogel and instantly liked his easy going, informative, but no pressure attitude. We liked the cars he showed us, but still wanted to shop around (I hate to miss out on a deal)! Well, 4 car dealerships later, we realized the 2014 Subaru Forestor Fred recommended was our best option. Fred and the Brewster Subaru team made the buying process smooth and seamless. The management team, headed by Rich Johnson, closed the deal and left us with an even greater impression of Brewster Subaru. People who love their job are absolutely magnetic! My fiance and I know we made the right best decision with Brewster Subaru and will definately be back for a second vehicle!

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

Came in for tire rotation, oil change and overall check up for 5,000 miles on new Traverse. I was told it would take about an hour and a half. It took just a little over that by minutes and all was complete. Waiting area was very comfortable with TV and WiFi, food and beverage were also available. I've owned a lot of vehicles and this was one of the best experiences for service.

Buying a car is stressful even if you have a lot of experience. Historically, it has been time consuming, emotionally taxing and most of us go into a dealership with far less knowledge than we ought for a purchase of the magnitude of a car. Salespeople have (understandable) pressures to move inventory and even the most fair-minded is looking to get the highest price they can get away with. It is harrowing at best. With my experience with Carvana, all of these stresses were eliminated. I browsed inventory as widely or narrowly as I wanted, for as long as I needed. I could dictate pricing ranges that were suitable for me. The car I received was *exactly* the car I examined online, right down to some inconsequential bumper scuffs. Beyond this, and *absolutely unlike* any other online business, I could speak to a *real human being* within a few minutes of calling (I had six or seven conversations with Carvana agents over the 3 1/2 weeks from car selection to car receipt). They either had the answers at hand, or researched them and replied promptly with a follow up call. Delivery coordination and drop off (and test drive) were *painless no pressure* experiences???all preparatory contract paperwork was prepared in advance leaving only title transfer stuff to take care of. It took 45 minutes, tops. (I transacted entirely in cash, so I cannot speak to the process when there is financing.) Honestly, the biggest delay was on *my* end getting the insurance transferred (having to wait on hold with my insurance company for 15 minutes). The car was 100% was described???absolutely no surprises. The images on the web site for my car were not stock images. What I saw was what I got. Naturally, it was clean, filled up with a full tank, with new tires and the whole nine yards. Even got a ???free??? Carvana reusable coffee cup and key chain. Nice touch. The part that I found the most extraordinary was the 7-day money-back guarantee, which pretty much covers a change of mind unless you get into an accident or drive it a ton (over 400 miles, and even then, they???ll take it back after a modest per-mile-over-400 charge). All in all, I was dreading buying a car (and selling my used one) and Carvana made it pleasurable. I am absolutely recommending them to all of my friends and coworkers and I hope (as a relatively new company) they keep up the excellent work.

My experience with the sales person Jorge Batista was the best!!! I had a wonderful experience leasing a new Subaru thanks to his commitment and professionalism. His knowledge about the car, persistence and treatment convinced me to give him the deal. He worked out different options to satisfy me, purchase or lease he showed me all in detail. He really put the costumer's needs first. His main focus was to make the deal and he was very successful at it. When I went to pick up the car, Jorge and his team had all documentation ready for me to sign. Once papers were signed Jorge proceed to go over with all car technical information. The technical section had two parts; theoretical and practical. Jorge even had some car adjustments pre-set for me. He took his time to explain all settings and he showed me and my husband how to do them. He gave my husband and I lots of confidence on this car. I highly recommend Jorge Batista, the dealership and the entire team to potential costumers, friends and family members. I'm delighted with the treatment and professionalism Jorge brought to the deal.

Please note the 2018 Explorer Sport I recently leased through Hassett is the 4th vehicle I've obtained through your dealership within the past decade. The first vehicle I purchased outright and the last three vehicles were leased. The sales rep for the past two vehicles I've leased has been Mike Scannello. With the past two transactions Mike was extremely professional, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly which made each transaction go extremely well and very smoothly. I originally stopped in to speak with Mike in regards to leasing a new vehicle earlier in October. When I returned on October 28th Mike knew exactly which vehicle and options I was interested in and he offered me several vehicles with different color combinations to choose from. I decided to go with another Explorer Sport only this time in white with a black interior so I placed a deposit on the car the very same day. My latest transaction with Mike and Hassett was by far the quickest and smoothest I've ever experienced during my lifetime of purchasing or leasing new Ford or Mercury vehicles. I've also dealt with your finance manager Danny during the the past three vehicle transactions. Danny is also extremely professional, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly so you have an excellent team in place at your dealership. When ever it comes time for a new vehicle purchase or lease I'm assured I can always find what I'm looking for and do business with at Hassett due to the excellent team of professionals you have on staff at your dealership. Both my wife and myself love our new vehicle even more that we did our 2016 red Explorer Sport.

Better Service Center than some luxury car dealerships

Well, I had another chance to use this dealership and I must say, Grand Prix's motto "We will satisfy you" definitely applies here. Unfortunately, our new Subaru Legacy, which me and my mom love, was recalled with about 51,000-52,000 2016-2017 Legacy/Outback models due to a possible problem with the steering problem. Unfortunately, this meant that my car would have to go into the dealership for service in order to fix it. Thankfully, I found Subaru of North America very proactive in getting information about the recall out there to the customers and at least I knew that Grand Prix would help me, as I had previous experience there when I shopped for our Legacy 3.6R Limited and found it to be an excellent dealership. Thankfully, this carried over to the service department, where a friendly and helpful representative was able to get me an appointment two days after the recall went out at 7:30AM, get me a loaner car (ended up being a rental from Hertz paid by Subaru, as the dealer ran out of loaners), and also have my car towed to the dealership two days before, as Subaru advised owners not to drive it. When I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted by a gentleman named Kevin, who was helpful and pointed me in the right direction to my Service Advisor, Steve Shoum. I found him to be excellent and better than the Service Advisor who helped us at the luxury car dealership where we serviced our former luxury car, as we found Steve to be very friendly, knowledgeable about cars, and able to speak to the customer without making them feel stupid or being snarky, like at the dealership where we serviced our previous car. While I did have to wait a bit as Hertz in Hicksville did not open until 9:00AM and they needed to pick me up, as Grand Prix ran out of loaners due to the recall, things were still fine, as I found the service center to be very nice, as it looked upscale and delivered on being somewhat upscale, with many plush and comfortable chairs, large screen TVs, nice restrooms, free wifi, plenty of literature, and a very good selection of complimentary food and beverages, like bagels and all of the fixings, coffee, soft drinks, and fresh fruit. Throughout the process, I found all of the employees other than Steve who I have dealt with previously in the sales department, like Vinny Ortolani, the General Sales Manager who came by to say hi to all of the customers and chat, Emily, another Service Advisor, and all of the other employees to be very warm and efficient, which was fantastic! My car was at the service center for a week, as the part for the steering column was on back order and they wanted to inspect the car, but Steve continued to keep me updated throughout, which contrasts to our previous Service Advisor at the luxury car dealership, who left us in the dark and made it hard to call him, as we usually got his voicemail when we called the dealer. Also, he rarely called us with updates. Grand Prix also proved to be very accommodating, as Taylor, the representative in the Sales Department, was very helpful as she had my car wait in front of the Sales Department as I had to pick up my car a little after hours due to work. This was appreciated, as I feel like Grand Prix understands not everyone operates on their schedule. There was one minor hiccup in the experience, as the car was kind of dirty when we got it back, but it was resolved perfectly after we complained, as Dan Ross, the General Manager of the dealership, was understanding and wanted to make sure we we satisfied, as he offered us two vouchers to the Hicksville Car Wash, which was appreciated. Overall, I thought that Grand Prix's Service Department was excellent, as it put where we took our luxury car to shame thanks to their fantastic service and I would definitely recommend Grand Prix when I need to service my Legacy!

This was the first enjoyable car buying experience I've had in a long time. There was no pressure, like wolves coming at you the moment you walked in the door. My salesman, Joe Lucci was relaxed and professional, really knew the product well, and listened well to my questions. Ted Hanlon the sales manager, came over to make sure I was being handled properly and that all my questions were being addressed. After all my questions were answered and I took another test drive, I decided to purchase the car. The car is great! A Subaru Forester. I'm on the road all the time. My gas bill, for the same amount of driving went down from $500 a month to $175 - $250. The gas saving is paying the monthly loan amount. You get free oil changes for a year which is great and the dealership has a special process for oil changes. You don't have to make an appointment. You just show up. So far my experience has been really good with Grand Prix. I don't see why it shouldn't continue. I've receive a call to make sure all is well and I appreciate that. I would highly recommend both Subaru and Grand Prix.
