I had a battery with one bad cell (or so AAA told me after they started my car). So I called and then drove straight to Paul Miller Subaru which, as it happened, was having a sale on batteries. I checked into Express service and asked them to put in a new battery and check my wiper blades. The whole thing took about 20 minutes and I was back driving to work with a new batter for $100 plus installation and a new free set of wiper bladed that happened to be under warranty after 8 months. Pretty cool.
A size upgrade we've been waiting for.

Well, I had another chance to use this dealership and I must say, Grand Prix's motto "We will satisfy you" definitely applies here. Unfortunately, our new Subaru Legacy, which me and my mom love, was recalled with about 51,000-52,000 2016-2017 Legacy/Outback models due to a possible problem with the steering problem. Unfortunately, this meant that my car would have to go into the dealership for service in order to fix it. Thankfully, I found Subaru of North America very proactive in getting information about the recall out there to the customers and at least I knew that Grand Prix would help me, as I had previous experience there when I shopped for our Legacy 3.6R Limited and found it to be an excellent dealership. Thankfully, this carried over to the service department, where a friendly and helpful representative was able to get me an appointment two days after the recall went out at 7:30AM, get me a loaner car (ended up being a rental from Hertz paid by Subaru, as the dealer ran out of loaners), and also have my car towed to the dealership two days before, as Subaru advised owners not to drive it. When I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted by a gentleman named Kevin, who was helpful and pointed me in the right direction to my Service Advisor, Steve Shoum. I found him to be excellent and better than the Service Advisor who helped us at the luxury car dealership where we serviced our former luxury car, as we found Steve to be very friendly, knowledgeable about cars, and able to speak to the customer without making them feel stupid or being snarky, like at the dealership where we serviced our previous car. While I did have to wait a bit as Hertz in Hicksville did not open until 9:00AM and they needed to pick me up, as Grand Prix ran out of loaners due to the recall, things were still fine, as I found the service center to be very nice, as it looked upscale and delivered on being somewhat upscale, with many plush and comfortable chairs, large screen TVs, nice restrooms, free wifi, plenty of literature, and a very good selection of complimentary food and beverages, like bagels and all of the fixings, coffee, soft drinks, and fresh fruit. Throughout the process, I found all of the employees other than Steve who I have dealt with previously in the sales department, like Vinny Ortolani, the General Sales Manager who came by to say hi to all of the customers and chat, Emily, another Service Advisor, and all of the other employees to be very warm and efficient, which was fantastic! My car was at the service center for a week, as the part for the steering column was on back order and they wanted to inspect the car, but Steve continued to keep me updated throughout, which contrasts to our previous Service Advisor at the luxury car dealership, who left us in the dark and made it hard to call him, as we usually got his voicemail when we called the dealer. Also, he rarely called us with updates. Grand Prix also proved to be very accommodating, as Taylor, the representative in the Sales Department, was very helpful as she had my car wait in front of the Sales Department as I had to pick up my car a little after hours due to work. This was appreciated, as I feel like Grand Prix understands not everyone operates on their schedule. There was one minor hiccup in the experience, as the car was kind of dirty when we got it back, but it was resolved perfectly after we complained, as Dan Ross, the General Manager of the dealership, was understanding and wanted to make sure we we satisfied, as he offered us two vouchers to the Hicksville Car Wash, which was appreciated. Overall, I thought that Grand Prix's Service Department was excellent, as it put where we took our luxury car to shame thanks to their fantastic service and I would definitely recommend Grand Prix when I need to service my Legacy!

It was time for something bigger than my Tacoma, which I LOVED. A friend of mine had just bought her new Ascent so I was intrigued. She has a family like mine and loves her Ascent, it is easy to see why after owning mine for the last month. I couldn't be happier, great car! Highly recommend!

This was the first enjoyable car buying experience I've had in a long time. There was no pressure, like wolves coming at you the moment you walked in the door. My salesman, Joe Lucci was relaxed and professional, really knew the product well, and listened well to my questions. Ted Hanlon the sales manager, came over to make sure I was being handled properly and that all my questions were being addressed. After all my questions were answered and I took another test drive, I decided to purchase the car. The car is great! A Subaru Forester. I'm on the road all the time. My gas bill, for the same amount of driving went down from $500 a month to $175 - $250. The gas saving is paying the monthly loan amount. You get free oil changes for a year which is great and the dealership has a special process for oil changes. You don't have to make an appointment. You just show up. So far my experience has been really good with Grand Prix. I don't see why it shouldn't continue. I've receive a call to make sure all is well and I appreciate that. I would highly recommend both Subaru and Grand Prix.

This car is amazing and so much fun to drive. Too many features to name here. Can’t even pick a favorite. For a three row seater it handles like a sedan but has room room galore. The third row is so comfortable and has its own vents. Cup holders everywhere. This is a must drive. You will be blown away. Subaru has thought of everything

While shopping for a used, low-mileage Subaru Legacy I stopped in to Ramsey Subaru to test drive a 2014 2.5i Limited and a 2011 3.6R. One young sales associate took me on a test drive and was very knowledgeable and personable. I decided although I enjoyed the 3.6R's added horsepower, the fuel economy and super low-mileage on the 2.5i Limited made it a better value (not to mention the fact that it was also a CPO -- Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle. I was not set on the sticker price at the time, came in spoke to another sales associate and it didn't seem like they were willing to budge on it. I gave them my information and asked them to call me when the price came down. I went to several dealerships in the area to test drive other used Subaru Legacys and other comparable cars (Acura TL, Acura TLX, etc). After returning home the following weekend, I noticed that the car had dropped near $1900 on car gurus. It was Saturday night and I knew the dealership was closed on Sundays, but I called and e-mailed anyway. I told My sales consultant Dan Willis that I'm ready to put a deposit down on the 2014 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Limited that I had test drove the week before. He got back to me first thing Monday morning, I put down a $1000 deposit. The dealership was very patient with me as I wanted to get a couple of fixes done to my 2005 Subaru Legacy that I planned on giving my nephew for his 17th Birthday. When working out the numbers with the Finance Manager, Michael Pandolfelli, I was given a couple of interest rates for different finance terms, I told him that he absolutely has to continue to work and get me a lower rate. A day or two later he called me back with an excellent rate with my bank of choice! When I came in to pick up my new car and finalize the paperwork, I noticed the price had dropped AGAIN on the dealership website, when I asked him to honor the newly discounted price, Michael said he can do that for me. When discussing extra options like extended warranties, it was slightly over the monthly payment I had OK'd myself to spend. He asked me what that monthly payment would be (difference of $3 or $4 / month), he made that happen, as well. After signing off, Dan Willis the Sales Consultant, brought me to my immaculately clean new (used) car and gave me a full walk-through on all the features the car included: Power-Sun Roof, Hill Assist, Cruise Control, Heated Seats, Back-Up Camera, Stereo and many other features. He made sure he answered any questions that I had for him and was happy to drive home. These two made my buying experience a pleasure and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another vehicle from Ramsey Subaru in the future!

The only reason I didn’t get this car was because it hasn’t been on the market long. I’ve had a past purchase of a new model jeep in the past and ran into all sorts of issues. So I did lease an Acadia. I can’t wait for the lease of my vehicle to be up though because by then it will have been on the market for longer and I will Definitely will get the ascent!

What a pleasure! If you are as OCD as me and do your homework in researching a vehicle and its pricing as well as dealer reviews and you are looking for a Subaru, this is the place to go. First off, I have owned and/or currently owned Nissans, Toyotas, Jeep, Plymouth/Dodges, Acura, Suzuki (don't ever do that!), Hyundai, and Ford/Mercury's. In fact, I owned a 1976 Subaru box car (orange) to which the head gasket blew within 4 months of ownership, so I was a bit queasy trusting Subaru again. More and more research including articles from Consumer Reports, Edmunds, Cars, etc., all pointed to, for me, the Outback and so far, knock on wood, I am pretty confident that the decision I made was right. As to Bill Kolb, Jr., I had the pleasure of dealing with Holman Cano; professional, friendly, no-nonsense approach to which most of our conversations were by telephone or e-mail. I spent a total of maybe 2 hours at the dealership in two days. 1 night to see if the vehicle was right for me and getting to the price and financing again, right for me; and the other time was to go over the vehicle in detail. A++++ to you guys. Hope to deal with you again when my wife is in need of a car.

My experience with the sales person Jorge Batista was the best!!! I had a wonderful experience leasing a new Subaru thanks to his commitment and professionalism. His knowledge about the car, persistence and treatment convinced me to give him the deal. He worked out different options to satisfy me, purchase or lease he showed me all in detail. He really put the costumer's needs first. His main focus was to make the deal and he was very successful at it. When I went to pick up the car, Jorge and his team had all documentation ready for me to sign. Once papers were signed Jorge proceed to go over with all car technical information. The technical section had two parts; theoretical and practical. Jorge even had some car adjustments pre-set for me. He took his time to explain all settings and he showed me and my husband how to do them. He gave my husband and I lots of confidence on this car. I highly recommend Jorge Batista, the dealership and the entire team to potential costumers, friends and family members. The Subaru Ascent is a pleasant surprise, even though all of the reviews I read about it were positive. It's a very comfortable car, and to me drives more like a car than an SUV. I was a Honda owner previously (Pilot, Accord), and thought that I would end up with another Pilot, but the Ascent blew me away. Great features for the price, comfortable seating, and plenty of room in the back for the kids and dogs. The controls and technology are exactly what I wanted - comprehensive, yet easy to operate (and reach). Great design. Plenty of USB ports for the kids. Very happy with the decision to buy, and love this car so far. The only shortcoming so far is the acceleration (where you can feel that this is a turbo 4-cylinder), but the Ascent does get up to cruising speed relatively quickly - and the ride is so comfortable I have to remind myself to slow down because I'm going faster than it feels!

I bought my second car 2019 Legacy from this dealership. First, I made an appointment to see a Sales Consultant on-line. On the same day, I received a friendly call from Robert Price who set up an appointment for me. On my appointment day, I met with Steve Durkin, Sales Consultant, who was friendly, helpful, patient and very professional. We negotiated but I never felt being pushed to agree on the price. Eventually we agreed on a price I am comfortable with. I also met Anthony Smolt, who was equally nice and friendly. The color of my choice was not available at that time but Steve promised that it will only take a few days before the next delivery. I have to travel for family reason and although the car has arrived in the dealership, I was still out of town. As soon as I returned to New Jersey after a month, I called the dealership and Steve was happy to inform me that my new car was waiting for me and the negotiated price was still in order. I went to the Dealership, sat with Steve and signed necessary documents in a very friendly atmosphere. I met with David Fried of Finance who has 110% patience with me. He suggested and recommended but still it was my own decision which optional product/service I will purchase. Then I met with Nick Gigantes who escorted me to my new 2019 Legacy. Another man with the virtue of patience, Nick showed me the interior features of my car. After thoroughly explaining to me everything, he has to do it all over again because I forgot what he just explained. I drove ???my pride and joy??? home. The next day, Steve Durkin called me to follow up on how I am doing with my new Subaru and he reassured me that if I have questions or problems or any difficulty, all I have to do is call the dealership and I will get immediate assistance. My overall experience with Wayne Subaru Dealership (the Sales and the Service Department) is truly exceptional because the staff like Robert, Steve, Anthony, David and Nick are exceptionally professional. We just bought the Ascent a week ago but it has already proved to be a very versatile and family-friendly SUV. Our kids outgrew the passenger cabin in our Forester so the Ascent was a great next step for us because we love Subaru's reliability and ability to go almost anywhere. Our 16, 14, and 12 year old fit very well in the Ascent with room to spare.

Let me just start by saying I???m NOT someone who writes reviews, about anything. My experience at Ramsey Subaru however, with Kyri, has made me actually rethink my ???ahh who cares about a review, I got what I want??? mindset lol. So to start, I went there interested in seeing the new Subaru Ascent. We were welcomed by Kyri as we were looking around the vehicle. He didn???t bother us after that, just a friendly ???hello and welcome if you need help I???m Kyri??? kind of approach. We eventually approached him with some questions. He was more than open and very down to earth with me and my wife, as well as my mother whom were with me. And since he was so down to earth I feel I should be blunt about my review and honest. From the start I didn???t get the ???xxxxxxx salesman trying to push a car on me??? feeling I???ve gotten other places. this is my 7th car I???ve owned, my first Subaru. Ive owned Audi, Toyota, Mercedes, Mazda, & 2 BMW???s. He was very straight forward with a lot of his answers and didn???t mind that we of course, were trying to pinch some pennies (or more of course). He made numerous trips to his boss to talk over what we can do as far as getting the best for our money, as well as our trade in on our BMW which we were negative in equity! All in all a very great experience. I can go on and on but nobody is going to read that big of a review. In the end what???s important was we were all happy. And got what we wanted without feeling like the dealer still ???won??? lol. Very great experience and would recommend Kyri to family and friends anytime. Thank you Kyri from the Porter family!
Best car ever except for mud

I currently own two Subaru models. A 2016 Forester and about 3 days now a brand new 2019 Ascent premium. The only problem that needs to addressed on both cars is muddy road conditions. These cars are mud collectors. The undercarriage needs to be smooth with added mud guards to protect the brakes. Alloy rims should not be so deep inside. The Forester will hold mud in the rims making them go out of balance. Mud will also get under the lower door seals. When it feezes opening the door damages the seals. And they are very expensive to replace. Mud collects under the rear bumper. Wheel wells also. The Ascent is not as bad but mud still gets under the door seals. For an off road capable car this should not be happening.

Powerful a few really poor issues

The car is powerful, handles really well. Having owned five Subarus, I expected nothing less. That said, after six months, several annoying trais have emerged, which I consider to be game changers:1) dumb auto locking doors drive me nuts. They have been set, to supposedly unlock all doors when driver's door is opened. Only half the time, rear doors remain locked. 2)The radio can not be turned off. Consequently, unless you just leave it on, and turn volume to zero, you are confronted with scresming radio, seconds after you start the car. 3) interlock on tranny is sorely screwed. If you accidentally take it out of park before starting, you are screwed for about five minutes, begging it to start. Just returning to park doesn't work. Gotta tirn off ignition (another joke), open and close doors, wait for it to actually go off, then try to restart. 4) oh screw it, suffice to say, electronics are half baked. THEN, there is a flap to hide the trailer hitch. If you ever take it off, good luck ever getting it safely re attached. Finally (I hope) the glove box is a joke. Think it might be a good car in a year or two.

I was referred to Ramsey Subaru by a co-worker. I actually let my co-worker do the formal introduction because I felt a bit intimated by my former automobile purchase experiences. At Ramsey Subaru, my Sales Consultant was Steve Rouhana and I cannot say enough great things about working with him. He demonstrated passion for his job, was attentive & kind and really helped me to get the color/make/model (2017 Crosstrek Premium - Desert Khaki) car I wanted and at the price that I could afford. Also, I worked with two additional & impressive people: Michael (Financing) and James (Auto Functionality Tech). At Ramsey Subaru, it's obvious that they are believers in this kind of specialization. One group of people (sales) demonstrates the car. Another group (sales managers) works out the sales price, trade-in values and calculate payments. A third group ties up the loose ends of a deal and does the final paperwork. It appears that they all work well together with their main mission 'to provide the best customer service expeirience'. Unbelievably effortless purchase with really super people!

I have been a proud owner of a 2015 WRX that I purchased at this dealership on Columbus Day in 2014. I received a reminder call to have my inspection sticker renewed so I stopped in the 1st of this month. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by Matt who was a super friendly guy and didn't put on the face like the ones that say I don't want to be here because it's for a paycheck. I expressed my concern the last visit I came in where I was told I was supposed to get a car wash voucher and never received it. During the wait he came out with a friendly expression and said "HERE IT IS!" Now that's what I call service with a smile! Later on he told me my car was ready and I didn't owe him anything today and wished me a happy holidays. The experience I got from him was phenomenal! A few days passed & I received a follow up call from him 7:38pm on my visit. Unfortunately, I was still working or I would have enjoyed speaking with him on my experience there! I would recommend seeing him for a future service visit!

My sales rep Greg Haven was polite, considerate, not pushy, a gentleman and a scholar. Showed me options and explained throughly. I discussed wiggle room in the price and told him I was negotiating with 6 other dealers to get what I wanted at the fair price I wanted. The current car I was driving was 19 yrs young. This purchase was my first ever of a new car. This was a huge decision for me. I wanted to be sure. Thank you so much! I have had the car in for routine oil check and the service was quick and waiting room superb. They even have a separate "quiet" room space if you want to sit away from others. I love my Subaru Crosstrek!

I went to Paul Miller Subaru dealer on Route 46 in Parsippany, NJ for an Express Oil and Filter Change. The service people were pleasant and efficient. My time spent at the dealer was less than an hour. My car was serviced, washed, and the inside was vacuumed. And I got to relax reading a good book as I waited. Kudos to Paul Miller for quick, efficient service.

While I have only owned the Asent since January I have been impressive. This replaces my 2002 Toyota 4-Runner. I compared to Highlander but one test drive in the Acent and I was impressed. Adaptive cruise control is amazing. The dealership kept selling out of the mid-level trim so bought the Touring model off the showroom floor. I have bad back and these seat are wonderful. Seat have both heat and a/c. Yes cooling front seat (I live in Florida). Has power when you need it. Gas mileage is in 20 mpg range and great is regular gas. I looked at Audi Q5 but was out of my price range and this Ascent has all the same bells and whistles for $10k less. All the folk that have Subarus say I will be very happy with reliability. Hope it will be good as my 4Runner was!!

Purchased the Ascent Touring edition 2 weeks ago, after test driving the Audi Q7, VW Atlas, and Volvo XC 90 (and having had the latter 2 models as recent rental cars as well). We liked the Subaru just as much as the Audi and Volvo in spite it being a dramatically less expensive car. Visbility is better than its peers. The 7-seat layout with 2 second-row captain's chairs fits our family perfectly; usually there are 4 of us +/- a large dog, and then sometimes some soccer kids or friends join us as well. The interior on the Touring is very attractive, first and second-row seating are extremely comfortable (the 2nd row much plusher than the Atlas), and the center stack and instrumentation is intuitive and pleasant to use. The car is very feature-rich for the price. The moonroof is huge and beautiful. Sometimes I feel like my head is near the top of most cars, but the Ascent has a ton of headroom. Bluetooth integration is great, and both the Bluetooth and the seat memory are very well-designed for two-driver families. The 2.4L engine is way peppier than I would have expected; it's not quite as powerful as the 3.6L version of the Q7, but it is more-than-sufficient; much better than my old Toyota Sienna. It's fun to drive and it feels like a luxury car. I'm happy every time I get to drive it. And because Subaru is so reliable, we were able to buy a manufacturer's extension to the standard 3/36,000 warranty to take it up to 10 years/100,000 miles (excluding wear-and-tear items like breaks and rotating electrical) for only $3,700 more.

I purchased a 2018 Subaru Forester from Oliver Buckle on 1/29/18. Along with the sales manager, Tracy Keith, we were able to make this sale happen. Everything went very well during the delivery process except over a hour wait to see the finance manager due to someone ahead of me. Oliver paired up my Apple i6 to the radio system in the above vehicle and went over all the controls with me. He's a very professional well dressed guy and I highly recommend dealing with him.

Our experience was AMAZING!! My husband and I have always hesitated to buy cars or even walk into a dealership because we dread the 8-10 hour process. But we were in dire need of a car and decided to go to Robert Chevrolet because it was close to the house, and I am beyond happy that we did. As soon as we got out of our car and walked onto the lot we were greeted instantly by Sal. We told him we were just looking and had a few questioned, and he continued to talk with us. He showed us some cars in the show room and was never pushy. He didn't try to force us into a nicer or larger car, he didn't start running numbers until we said we were ready to start pricing things out. We honestly could not have been happier with our experience. Robert Chevrolet, Sal and Cathy took the sting out of buying/leasing a car.
