I???ve been researching the Subaru Outback for some time. Ex-Volvo guy looking for a wagon with the market offering limited options. I had just got out of a BMW 3 series wagon, but it did meet all my requirements; a wagon with ground clearance and a great safety record. That lease was over and I was back in the market for a new car. The VW Alltrack caught my eye, a wagon with some ground clearance. I went on a test drive and soon realized it was not the car for me. I was going to drive home and saw Kennesaw Subaru across the street. I decided to pull in and was greeted by Ralph Kurland. As opposed to a car salesman, he was a Subaru ???aficionado???, and knew the product extremely well. Ralph asked a few basic questions and narrowed down the trim to the 2.5 Limited ??? ???L??? for leather as Ralph said. Before the test drive, Ralph did a quick overview of all the options the car had. During the test drive, Ralph pointed out features that could only be experience while driving. He discussed how some of the safety features in the car were also in the Subies both he and his wife drove. Before the test drive was over, I knew I wanted to buy the car, but did not want to show all my cards. I was ready for the hard negotiation. First, the car did not come with LED headlights standard on the Limited. Ralph soon found it on the lot. Ok, this it, all check marks were checked. Ralph then started the negotiation process. Surprisingly enough, there were no games, tricks or gimmicks. Great financing, and no back and forth with the finance manager. I was happy with the price and the product, and pulled the trigger. To say that I bought the car because of Ralph is an understatement. I???ve bought quite a few cars in my lifetime, but the experience with Ralph has erased years of bad experience with other dealers and car brands. While you may want to buy the car online, it???s worth your while to step into the Kennesaw Subaru dealership to see the product and have Ralph Kurland talk about the car. He???s passionate about the product, the brand, and his job. I now understand why people love Subaru???s ??? I???m a convert.

Turned in my 2015 Buick Verano for a 2018 Subaru Impreza Sport and I'm officially in love! I'm the first person in my family to have a Subaru and they all should be jealous because this car is awesome. BIG THANKS to Alex S. for talking me into the upgraded model with sunroof, sound system and coincidentally a remote starter (MAJOR SELLING POINT!) This was definitely a quick and painless process, sans the pushy salesman quirk. Alex was also able to withstand my father's humor and interrogation process...commendable in and of itself. I have to say that this dealerships service center has treated me great and made me love my subaru again. I'll start my story by saying that I have had ongoing issues with my 13' crosstrek since 10000 miles. my subaru was purchased in Virginia so that is not being blamed on ertle at all. when I did service my car in VA the service was horrible. 1 year later I moved to NY. This was the dealership that I notified the problem of an extended crank and clunk upon starting, this was also when the problem began. I took my car in to feders subaru in Middletown NY....for a simple oil change.....there was a horrible odor after driving my car.....turns out they had poured oil all over my engine and it was burning. has to take it back and get it cleaned...went back again for low coolant....they claimed it wasn't low....lol. they had filled it and told me I was wrong. I never went back.. changed my dealership to colonialSubaru in Kingston ny....their service department had me drive over an hour each way countless times to try and fix the crank and clunk...over 5 times...and it was never ever fixed even after they brought in a " special" service guy......not to mention the terrible attitudes of their service department . I honestly had given up on this issue ever being fixed...and was planning to sell my car and never get another subaru again. i have owned 2 subarus prior to this one...and was also raised in a family driving subarus....and loved them. yet this experience had me so angry and I couldn't believe 2 dealerships couldn't fix the problem which would at times leave me stranded with my car not starting. I ended up moving to PA and found ertle subaru and thank God I did. they fixed the extended crank issue in 1 visit. . yes a single visit. I take my car to them for everything I need and they are so professional and knowledgeable. Bill and James at the desk listen to everything you are saying and convey that to the service men in back. I can say this dealerships service center is amazing and has changed my opinion of newer subarus. They have my car in tip top shape...and I love it again....no longer want to sell it. also, when I am ready for a newer model....i will be purchasing from Ertle.
Sold my Tacoma for my new Ascent, love it!

Nicole Vieira originally called me about Subaru's Upgrade Program as my 2015 Forester could be upgraded to a 2017 model. She was quite friendly and helpful over the phone and spent all the time I needed to ask questions and clarify the whole process. She then handed me over to Nick Spiezio as I had spoken to him before about the program and finally decided to get serious about it. I also spoke with AJ Marvelli at that earlier time. AJ spoke to me about the lease program so I could consider that path also. Both AJ and Nick were very friendly and patient, making the whole process informative and pleasant. When I revisited Nick on 6/22/2017, he very patiently went over what we had talked about earlier and went into much more detail. He spent literally hours with me! Since AJ was not available at the time, he went over the leasing option with me too. I decided that I wanted to go the leasing route. He also brought in Kyle Booser to give me more I put on the leasing path as Nick said that leasing was not his area of expertise. Kyle was equally friendly and helpful. In the end, I decided to go the leasing route, so Nick looked at my 2015 Forester and worked out the numbers for leasing. Then he handed me back to Kyle Booser handled all the financial and legal paperwork (a LOT of documents!). He explained each document to me before I signed it, allowed me to read whatever I wanted before I signed it, and was very helpful throughout the whole process. He stayed until after 10 pm to get everything finished so that I could drive out with the new vehicle! Moxk stayed also to help finish everything up. Plus Nick also moved most if the "junk" in my old car into my new car--no mean feat! Both Nick and Kyle went over and above the call of duty which I appreciated very much! Great people to work with!! I haven't found one person at this dealership who isn't friendly and very helpful. Great dealership!!'

Chuck Lucas was our sales person, and he was amazing! He treated us like family, and that made us feel like we were exactly where we needed to be. One of the first things he told us was that he is a Christian, and he feels called to make sure that his customer's car buying experience is a positive and blessed one. He was in no way pushy, and even asked more than once if we had any questions or concerns about the vehicle. Before I test drove a car, I explained to Chuck that we had just been discharged from a 5-year bankruptcy. I needed to let him know about that up front, because I knew financing would be a problem due to our credit situation. I did not want to waste his time or ours, if the dealership did not deal with people that have credit issues. Chuck told me that they are a family-owned and operated business, and they understand that life is not easy, and that hardships arise. At no time were my husband and I made the feel uncomfortable due to our credit situation. The finance department did a great job of getting our credit approved, and our payment where it needed to be. I would 100% recommend the Dick Dean Subaru team, and when it is time for another vehicle we will be back.

This car is amazing and so much fun to drive. Too many features to name here. Can’t even pick a favorite. For a three row seater it handles like a sedan but has room room galore. The third row is so comfortable and has its own vents. Cup holders everywhere. This is a must drive. You will be blown away. Subaru has thought of everything

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

The only reason I didn’t get this car was because it hasn’t been on the market long. I’ve had a past purchase of a new model jeep in the past and ran into all sorts of issues. So I did lease an Acadia. I can’t wait for the lease of my vehicle to be up though because by then it will have been on the market for longer and I will Definitely will get the ascent!

The Subaru Ascent is a pleasant surprise, even though all of the reviews I read about it were positive. It's a very comfortable car, and to me drives more like a car than an SUV. I was a Honda owner previously (Pilot, Accord), and thought that I would end up with another Pilot, but the Ascent blew me away. Great features for the price, comfortable seating, and plenty of room in the back for the kids and dogs. The controls and technology are exactly what I wanted - comprehensive, yet easy to operate (and reach). Great design. Plenty of USB ports for the kids. Very happy with the decision to buy, and love this car so far. The only shortcoming so far is the acceleration (where you can feel that this is a turbo 4-cylinder), but the Ascent does get up to cruising speed relatively quickly - and the ride is so comfortable I have to remind myself to slow down because I'm going faster than it feels!

Love our Ascent

We just bought the Ascent a week ago but it has already proved to be a very versatile and family-friendly SUV. Our kids outgrew the passenger cabin in our Forester so the Ascent was a great next step for us because we love Subaru's reliability and ability to go almost anywhere. Our 16, 14, and 12 year old fit very well in the Ascent with room to spare.

Best car ever except for mud

I currently own two Subaru models. A 2016 Forester and about 3 days now a brand new 2019 Ascent premium. The only problem that needs to addressed on both cars is muddy road conditions. These cars are mud collectors. The undercarriage needs to be smooth with added mud guards to protect the brakes. Alloy rims should not be so deep inside. The Forester will hold mud in the rims making them go out of balance. Mud will also get under the lower door seals. When it feezes opening the door damages the seals. And they are very expensive to replace. Mud collects under the rear bumper. Wheel wells also. The Ascent is not as bad but mud still gets under the door seals. For an off road capable car this should not be happening.

NOT the usual "car dealership", more like friends than salesman. To make a long story short, we were between a big rock and a hard place due to some car problems and Kelly Wetherell (Sales Manger), Joe Nevitt (Service Manager) stepped up and helped us make the right decision on what to do and then made us a deal we felt was the best solution to our problems. We have now purchased 6 Outbacks from Subaru of Champaign and the major reason is due to the way we are treated at the dealership. Kelly, Joe and our salesman Chuck Danowitz all worked to help us with out any pressure. They were more like friends than a car dealership. On a side note, my wife takes her car to Subaru of Champaign for service and it is not a Subaru. She likes the way the service department treats her and they have always gone the extra step to meet her needs.
Powerful a few really poor issues

The car is powerful, handles really well. Having owned five Subarus, I expected nothing less. That said, after six months, several annoying trais have emerged, which I consider to be game changers:1) dumb auto locking doors drive me nuts. They have been set, to supposedly unlock all doors when driver's door is opened. Only half the time, rear doors remain locked. 2)The radio can not be turned off. Consequently, unless you just leave it on, and turn volume to zero, you are confronted with scresming radio, seconds after you start the car. 3) interlock on tranny is sorely screwed. If you accidentally take it out of park before starting, you are screwed for about five minutes, begging it to start. Just returning to park doesn't work. Gotta tirn off ignition (another joke), open and close doors, wait for it to actually go off, then try to restart. 4) oh screw it, suffice to say, electronics are half baked. Took my Subaru Outback for its 60,000 mile check. Brian Lawless, Assistant Service Manager, did a fine job in reviewing me what would be checked, gave me the range of what the cost would be, and promised I'd have my car back by 11:30. His predictions were accurate, and I got my car when promised. The shuttle driver, Marty Hauschildt, was very friendly and efficient, as well. Overall, definitely a 5 stars experience.

While I have only owned the Asent since January I have been impressive. This replaces my 2002 Toyota 4-Runner. I compared to Highlander but one test drive in the Acent and I was impressed. Adaptive cruise control is amazing. The dealership kept selling out of the mid-level trim so bought the Touring model off the showroom floor. I have bad back and these seat are wonderful. Seat have both heat and a/c. Yes cooling front seat (I live in Florida). Has power when you need it. Gas mileage is in 20 mpg range and great is regular gas. I looked at Audi Q5 but was out of my price range and this Ascent has all the same bells and whistles for $10k less. All the folk that have Subarus say I will be very happy with reliability. Hope it will be good as my 4Runner was!!

Purchased the Ascent Touring edition 2 weeks ago, after test driving the Audi Q7, VW Atlas, and Volvo XC 90 (and having had the latter 2 models as recent rental cars as well). We liked the Subaru just as much as the Audi and Volvo in spite it being a dramatically less expensive car. Visbility is better than its peers. The 7-seat layout with 2 second-row captain's chairs fits our family perfectly; usually there are 4 of us +/- a large dog, and then sometimes some soccer kids or friends join us as well. The interior on the Touring is very attractive, first and second-row seating are extremely comfortable (the 2nd row much plusher than the Atlas), and the center stack and instrumentation is intuitive and pleasant to use. The car is very feature-rich for the price. The moonroof is huge and beautiful. Sometimes I feel like my head is near the top of most cars, but the Ascent has a ton of headroom. Bluetooth integration is great, and both the Bluetooth and the seat memory are very well-designed for two-driver families. The 2.4L engine is way peppier than I would have expected; it's not quite as powerful as the 3.6L version of the Q7, but it is more-than-sufficient; much better than my old Toyota Sienna. It's fun to drive and it feels like a luxury car. I'm happy every time I get to drive it. And because Subaru is so reliable, we were able to buy a manufacturer's extension to the standard 3/36,000 warranty to take it up to 10 years/100,000 miles (excluding wear-and-tear items like breaks and rotating electrical) for only $3,700 more.

Wonderful people. Wonderful cars. $350 for 4 sparkplugs? I don't get that. Perhaps there is more to it, but nothing more was detailed. I really want to use your service, but $1700 for routine service on a 2010 Forester? Geez! I've usually avoided service at dealerships for that reason. I want to stay with you but I suggest you ease up on the pricing.

In 2015 I bought a new Subaru Forester 2.5i Premium at Atlantic Subaru in Bourne. I loved my new car….it was everything I wanted in a new car. It had plenty of room to transport all my partner’s antique treasures as well as yard sale finds. It had the all weather package that included heated seats which my partner, who is not from New England but from Perth, one of the hottest places in the southern hemisphere, loved. On the other hand, I loved the Eyesight feature as well as Starlink. I was not thinking of buying a new 2018 Forester but Atlantic was having Promo in the month of December and I thought I might explore some options. Working with the management team, they set me up with Joe Stanley, one of their salesman. Within minutes I knew Joe and I were going to hit it off. He listened to me, understood what I wanted and at no time was he “pushy”. From beginning to end, Joe was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He did not pressure a sale, nor did he make me feel rushed into a decision. He worked with me to get the most for my trade-in as well as a good price for the new car. I must admit, I did go to several other dealerships to compare what they would offer. In the end, I came back to Subaru Atlantic. I felt more than comfortable doing the deal with Joe. Caleb, in the accounting office, was also excellent at discussing all the options I had. Well done, Subaru Atlantic, you have earned my trust.
