To make this as short and accurate as possible, I was in the car buying process for about 3 months. The very first time I went to Subaru of Gwinnett I went only for a test drive. Nelson, my salesperson acknowledge my intent and was very respectful of it. After several weeks, Nelson Never did once try to push me or rush me into deciding to buy a car. He allowed me to test drive another model I was interested in, and over the course of a few weeks, we worked together to find the perfect car. Once we determined what car was best, he did an outstanding job at finding the car and getting us a good deal on it. When it came time to purchase the car, the process was very painless and quick. Overall, an increible experience, I cannot recommend them enough

My car is way better than I expected. It has everything I needed and more. I couldn't be more happy with it. Back up camera is very helpful, living in Portland I'm always having to parallel park and it makes it super easy. Love the seat warmers, they're so nice for the fall and winter weathers. It's a very safe car, it has lights on my side mirrors that lets me know when someone is in my blind spot, it beeps if I'm accidently going into the next lane or if a car has stopped suddenly, it also stops its self if it gets to close to a stopped car. It has a sunroof which is a huge bonus! And the color is so beautiful, I get so many compliments on it. I love it!
Salesperson did not push for added extras. I told them what I wanted and worked with me on negotiation. They made my car buying experience less stressful.

From the moment I purchased the Crosstrek, I have found a new admiration for the Subaru brand. Although it doesn’t have the crazy 0-60 speed like some cars do, it does provide a comfortable ride that can take you places those other cars cannot, and definitely has better fuel efficieny. I just reached 6000 miles in my Crosstrek and average around 28-29MPG in the city. I was also wowed by the award winning safety features that came with it as well. All in all, great car!!!
We owned three Subaru's and this purchase makes four. This was our third experience with Matt at Ramsey Auto Center. We shared with Matt what we were looking for in a new vehicle and he quickly found a car in their inventory that matched out wants. The purchase process was reasonably fast and not too painful. We've looked at other cars at other dealerships, but seem to be drawn to the quality and affordability of a Subaru, and Matt has continued to give us excellent service.

I have purchased Imprezas and Outbacks, driven Foresters and Legacys. But the Crosstreks are by far the best! I have driven in snowstorms, rain storms and ice storms - and the obnly thing I have had to worry about are the other drivers on the road who are NOT driving Subarus.
I hate buying cars. Everyone does, but the last time I went through this process I ended up having an emotional breakdown in the middle of a dealership. Needless to say, I was not looking forward to the car buying process. I would have rather gotten a root canal with a dentist that doesn't believe in painkillers.
I can honestly say Minooka Subaru changed my panicked thoughts on car buying. From the beginning, they were honest and forthright (they actually advertised their cars at the price they offer you, can you believe it?). The entire experience took less than two hours and I walked out with a smile on my face, a new car, and a great deal.
If you are looking for a dealership that won't make you feel like you just gave up your firstborn son when you leave, look no further. I drover an hour and half based off a friend's recommendation, and it was worth every mile.

This is a daily driver/commuter for me. I am pleased with the fuel economy and the driving quality of this car. It is responsive and comfortable. The bad road capability is the principle reason I traded my Mazda3 for this car and I am quite pleased so far. I will say that the head unit (audio, bluetooth, etc) is less than stellar. I travel out of cell coverage a lot and rely on my iPod for tunes and podcasts. This unit is not compatible with my 4th Gen iPod. My 2017 Toyota Tacoma has no issues and my 2015 Mazda3 had no issues. It makes zero sense to me that this simple compatibility could not be included. Fortunately there is an aftermarket.
I desired this car for maybe 6 years now (since it was released) and of all the criticisms it has received, the only one that makes a real impact is its speed. This is not a fast car. You cannot "thread the needle" or zip into a pocked when merging onto the highway, so you always need to account for the lack of acceleration and maybe wait a little longer when entering higher-speed roads. Other than that, I love this car. Everything about it. I live in NY and need something that can put up with snow, poor road conditions, and the occasional unfinished (dirt) road. This car does all of that and more. I feel confident driving it, and I can put my trust in its safety features. The one addition I have made to the car is a front and rear dash cam hardwired into the car, because you never know.
Salesman Bob Ferrara help me setup my new phone with Bluetooth in my Subaru Forester. He was very patient with me. He also was very nice and polite.

My first Subaru and I love the car. Wasn’t looking for a lot of frills and for the price I’m satisfied. Looks sporty, especially in black and with my bike racks on top. I drive to Tahoe to bike and ski and it has plenty of power to get me there with no issues. Plenty of room, I fit a 6ft Xmas tree in the back no problem.
The only thing that I wish was different is that it’s hard to see the speedometer when driving. It’s tucked to the right side of the dash, I have to look around the steering wheel to see it, wish it was in the middle or as a digital heads up display.
RJ Seidel was absolutely wonderful to work with buying our new Subaru Crosstrek. He has followed up several times to make sure that everything has gone smoothly. Great buying experience!!
PS--This is the only dealer we shopped at because we bought a Forrester in 2016 and had a wonderful experience then, too.
I've lived in So. Lake Tahoe for over 30 years and had my last Subaru for over 18 years. My 1997 Subaru was the most reliable, gas efficient, low maintenance, and “excellent in the snow” car I ever had! However, it was time for a new car. I did my research and looked for the best deals and found that Michael Hohl had the best selection and best prices around! I also know that they are familiar with California DMV requirements. I was pleased that their sales person did not pressure me and I was able to “just look around” and test drive the car I was interested in. There was just a little issue with the vehicle I purchased, nevertheless, the sales manager graciously corrected the problem! I highly recommend Michael Hohl Subaru! I'm more than happy and very satisfied with my purchase!
I'm surprised to see the negative reviews on for Michael Hohl Subaru. We bought our first car from Michael Hohl Honda and got nothing but amazing service. We decided it was time for a new car and were deciding Honda CR-V and a Subaru. We decided to check out the Subaru’s first. We went in on Saturday at noon and here’s how things went for us. Sean Lyman was the salesperson who helped us out. He was very knowledgeable about the Subaru’s without being pushy. We were leaning towards a Forester based on internet research but checked out the Outback as well. Sean asked us what we wanted out of a car and explained the difference between the two cars. We test drove both but fell IN LOVE with the Outback. Next was deciding which color/package we wanted. We went with a dark grey w/the all-weather package. Let me tell you our car ROCKS! Sean wasn’t pushy throughout our whole time on the lot making up our minds. He gave us privacy when we needed it and was there when we had questions. When it came time to make the deal and discuss our trade in. Sean’s Sales Manager came over, Bryan Worch. He was very nice and was wonderful to work with. We talked about our trade in which was a 2007 GMC Acadia. He gave us an AMAZING deal. Better than we thought we would get and then it came time to run the numbers. We had a number in our head that we wanted to be (like most people). We were still deciding between 2 of the Outbacks at this point so Bryan ran the numbers for both for us and with different down payment options. He spent a lot of time with us talking about our needs from the car as one of our picks did not include the all-weather package. After looking at the numbers and talking to Bryan we picked the all weather package. We never once felt pushed to buy the car. Bryan (like Sean) knew when to give us our privacy and talk but was there when we had questions. We really appreciated the time he took to make sure we looked at all our options and felt comfortable with the numbers. Sometimes when buying a car you get the feeling that the sales people just want to sell you the most expensive car with all the bells and whistles but we never once felt that here. They always talked about what we wanted and needed out of a car and most importantly what we felt comfortable paying! Speaking of paying, we moved over to the finance department and worked with Nick Reinhardt. He was quick and efficient. We had already been at the lot for a while now and he didn’t waste time lolly gagging. He went over all our warranties with us and talked about some of their extended plans. We originally weren’t going to purchase one but after looking at the prices and the length of them we decided on an additional one because the value was there. Like Bryan and Sean he gave us our privacy but was there to answer questions. He also ran several numbers for us so we could really see our options and what worked best for us. We never felt pushed to buy the extended plan, we bought it because for us piece of mind is worth it. The guys who cleaned the car up for us did a great job. Being as it was a brand new car they didn’t have much to do but there was a few scratches behind the door handles (people when opening car doors be easy for pete sakes someone is going to buy that sooner or later!). They were able to get them all out and cleaned up!! Woohoo!!!! As you can see, we had an amazing car buying experience. Even though we’ve only had the car for a day, we will be Subaru owners for life. The car could sell itself but everyone we dealt with at the dealership went beyond for us.

We came into Capitol Subaru after just purchasing a used truck 2 weeks before from another dealer. The truck was horrible and kept breaking down on us and we hadn't even made a payment yet, the other dealer would not help us at all, we were stuck with it. We didn't know what options we would have, if any, when we got to Capitol. That's when we met John Mendrin and we told him our situation and he thought they would be able to do something for us. It turned to be a very long day but John made it fun and comfortable for us and it was very low pressure. At the end of the day Capitol was able to get us out of our loan on the truck and get us in to a brand new Forester! We would like to thank everybody who worked hard on our behalf, especially John who stuck with us literally the whole day and has the patients of a saint! Thank you!
