I was able to buy a Certified Pre-Owned 2015 BRZ two weeks ago. I had been searching for this car for months and finally found one in great condition, with decent mileage and inside by budget. This car exceeded my expectations and they were high. Great gas mileage all wheel drive and plenty of storage space for all of my work related needs.
Excellent customer service. Excellent repair department. One problem - a new car includes the first 5 free express services - oil change, tire rotation, full checkup etc. If you bring the car in and you have any issue (simple) not covered in the basic service you have to come back for another appointment. Since distance to the dealer is a problem - this could be corrected by letting you get in the regular line if it's a quick fix.

My car is way better than I expected. It has everything I needed and more. I couldn't be more happy with it. Back up camera is very helpful, living in Portland I'm always having to parallel park and it makes it super easy. Love the seat warmers, they're so nice for the fall and winter weathers. It's a very safe car, it has lights on my side mirrors that lets me know when someone is in my blind spot, it beeps if I'm accidently going into the next lane or if a car has stopped suddenly, it also stops its self if it gets to close to a stopped car. It has a sunroof which is a huge bonus! And the color is so beautiful, I get so many compliments on it. I love it!
Problem removing ignition key from 1917 Outback. Dealer where car was purchased did not fix it as they could not make it happen over a full day of trying. Problem continued intermittently, so we went to another Subaru dealer which identified the problem and fixed it. Very pleased.

My first Subaru and I love the car. Wasn’t looking for a lot of frills and for the price I’m satisfied. Looks sporty, especially in black and with my bike racks on top. I drive to Tahoe to bike and ski and it has plenty of power to get me there with no issues. Plenty of room, I fit a 6ft Xmas tree in the back no problem.
The only thing that I wish was different is that it’s hard to see the speedometer when driving. It’s tucked to the right side of the dash, I have to look around the steering wheel to see it, wish it was in the middle or as a digital heads up display.
Ellen Yerry and all the people involved in the replacement of the Catalitic Converter were excellent. She kept me informed during the whole process and made the experience much more pleasant than I thought it would be. I will always put a good word in regarding Kingston Colonial Subaru. I felt I was actually an important citizen by the way she treated me and the way the rental car was waiting for me without me asking for it. She took care of all the details. Great Job! Excellent care! There is a soft spot in my heart for you guys.

From the moment I purchased the Crosstrek, I have found a new admiration for the Subaru brand. Although it doesn’t have the crazy 0-60 speed like some cars do, it does provide a comfortable ride that can take you places those other cars cannot, and definitely has better fuel efficieny. I just reached 6000 miles in my Crosstrek and average around 28-29MPG in the city. I was also wowed by the award winning safety features that came with it as well. All in all, great car!!!
The service writers are actually your friends if you listen to them. The mechanics are very good and find trouble spots that need attention. It is your decision after all, listen and make the right one.

This is a daily driver/commuter for me. I am pleased with the fuel economy and the driving quality of this car. It is responsive and comfortable. The bad road capability is the principle reason I traded my Mazda3 for this car and I am quite pleased so far. I will say that the head unit (audio, bluetooth, etc) is less than stellar. I travel out of cell coverage a lot and rely on my iPod for tunes and podcasts. This unit is not compatible with my 4th Gen iPod. My 2017 Toyota Tacoma has no issues and my 2015 Mazda3 had no issues. It makes zero sense to me that this simple compatibility could not be included. Fortunately there is an aftermarket.
I have purchased Imprezas and Outbacks, driven Foresters and Legacys. But the Crosstreks are by far the best! I have driven in snowstorms, rain storms and ice storms - and the obnly thing I have had to worry about are the other drivers on the road who are NOT driving Subarus.
Excellent customer service, They bend over backwards to make sure you get the best buying experience, at the best price. The customer experience after the sale is also top notch. Could not be happier with the car, the price, and the people of Johnstons Subaru.
Wishlist Car Meets My Expectations

I desired this car for maybe 6 years now (since it was released) and of all the criticisms it has received, the only one that makes a real impact is its speed. This is not a fast car. You cannot "thread the needle" or zip into a pocked when merging onto the highway, so you always need to account for the lack of acceleration and maybe wait a little longer when entering higher-speed roads. Other than that, I love this car. Everything about it. I live in NY and need something that can put up with snow, poor road conditions, and the occasional unfinished (dirt) road. This car does all of that and more. I feel confident driving it, and I can put my trust in its safety features. The one addition I have made to the car is a front and rear dash cam hardwired into the car, because you never know.
I had been shopping for almost a year for a Subaru STI. I found a used 2018 STI with barely any mileage on it. Roger Homer, my salesman, was very helpful. He made the buying experience a pleasant one. I received a good trade in value on my Forester and the STI was reasonably priced. Michelle, the sales manager, was wonderful and Ray in the finance department was easy to work with. I would shop at Johnstons Subaru again.
Go see Dave he's the best tell him Dianne sent you. Weren't expecting to buy just started to look fell in love with the Jeep Cherokee Limited and received a deal couldn't pass up.
