My brakes gave out on my 16-year-old Forester as I was leaving town and heading home--I was in Pittsburgh visiting my mother. I had been toying with the idea of buying a new Subaru, and the repair bill was what tipped me to making the purchase. At first no one would pay attention to me when I went down to the showroom, so I was watching TV and planning my car future when Greg Johnston came into the room to deliver keys to a new buyer and I engaged him in conversation. He was friendly and offered to help me then and there--even though it was near closing. I never felt rushed and he took the time to explain everything to me about the different models of Crosstrek. I came back Saturday morning and drove a new car home. I love it. Greg made the experience stress free. He had a sense of humor (even when I sort of gave him a hard time). Everything about the car was explained to me and I am planning on going back for a refresher course this week. Going from a 16 year old car to a brand new one is like going from a model T to a spaceship--and I'm no spring chicken! All salespeople should be as attentive and easy-going as Greg. I hope he's there in 16 years when I may be in the market for a new car. Until then, I can only refer my friends and family to him.
When you walk into a car dealership one is filled with trepidation. One tends to be on guard for the slightest indication of dishonesty or pressured salesmanship. We had the opposite experience with Greg Johnston. He was knowledgeable, congenial, honest, and extremely helpful.
Greg Johnston made my new car purchase enjoyable. He was patience in answering my many questions, was knowledgeable in features of various Outback models, took me for a test drive in two Outback models and informed my insurance company of the new car I was purchasing. He attended to every detail needed to complete the sale to my satisfaction.
Greg Johnston was my salesman. This man gave me the most pleasant experience I have ever had, buying a used vehicle. His knowledge of the Subaru brand is unmatched. I will buy another car from this man.
On 12/23/17 I went to Day West Liberty Subaru and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I was looking to buy a used car and after some research online, i stopped in. I was immediately assisted by Greg and after telling him I was interested in two vehicles, he grabbed the two sets of keys an we were off! A couple hours later i walked out with a great deal on a certified preowned Subaru. I am a first time buyer but that was the best service I have receiver shopping anywhere! Greg and his coworker John explained in detail every aspect of the deal and got me a great one! Would definitely tell anyone looking for a Subaru to come to these guys!
Although I was intending to "window shop" and get a feel for what was available, Greg Johnston was super helpful and showed me a car that was exactly what I was looking for. During the test drive, Greg pointed out the safety features and was very knowledgable about the vehicle. My questions were answered thoroughly and with Greg's help, I feel confident I made the right decision to purchase.

I called ahead before my appointment to let them know I was traveling to the dealership. When I arrived they had the car parked out front already warm and ready for my test drive. Negotiating was a breeze. The salesman and sales manager were very transparent and honest during the negotiations. I would definitely recommend Kenny Ross Subaru.
Sales manager Mr loughner was very professional, told him what i was looking for and he personally took me to another of their lots and found my car I described in 5 to 10 minutes,,, he then introduced me to salesman Bob Swartz who made the deal happen. Jim is by far the best service manager to work with. I have took my car in for MANY issues from engine issues, turbo issues, and clutch issues, never had an issue since with them. Took my car in for some boost issues on my 2015 wrx. Got me running good again. This was not the first time he has went above and beyond to make sure my car is always running good. I will always take my subaru to this dealership for work no matter what it is. They went as far as reprogramming my TPMS for my aftermarket wheels, I did not even ask but I will say it made me very happy. It really shows they are very thorough with your car!!
Under the circumstances of needing a car ASAP opposed to wanting to purchase a new car just because, the experience was above and beyond and streamlined nicely, especially since I was winging-it on my own without outsider assistance.
