I have tried other places in Fort Wayne over the years and non of them come close to my experience at Fort Wayne Subaru. I've been taking my car there now for over 3 years and I consistently have a great experience and the value is also very good. Never worry that I'm being over charged or asked to buy anything I don't need.
Writing this review is the very least I could do to not only thanks the men and women that work here but also share my experience so that others might know where to turn. The staff, in both the front and the service area are the most amazing I have ever encountered. You will not have a better experience anywhere else (and believe me this isn't paid endorsement and I'm not one to be swept away by exaggeration, I stand by these words). From the first initial contact to driving away from the dealership, you matter there.
I can't thank them enough for the kindness, the compassion, the consideration, the genuine hospitality for everyone from their newest hire to the GM themselves. This dealership also believes in the community it services (the participate in soo many local charity events, and if you doubt me google it or listen to the radio and you'll happen to hear something going on that they are involved with). This is a review and a thank you.
You can think of it a just a car but these vehicles are entrusted everyday to ensure our loved ones safety and the only team I trust to keep my car able to safe guard my family is this team.
Brent Parrish is an excellent sales person! I am always pleased with the service I have performed – – – Jason, the service manager, is quite knowledgeable and an excellent asset to this dealership. During my last visit I had the opportunity to meet Gene Davis, the General Manager. It was a pleasure meeting him and I can tell he is dedicated to Subaru and to taking excellent care of the customers. I would highly recommend Fort Wayne Subaru to anyone.

I???ve been researching the Subaru Outback for some time. Ex-Volvo guy looking for a wagon with the market offering limited options. I had just got out of a BMW 3 series wagon, but it did meet all my requirements; a wagon with ground clearance and a great safety record. That lease was over and I was back in the market for a new car. The VW Alltrack caught my eye, a wagon with some ground clearance. I went on a test drive and soon realized it was not the car for me. I was going to drive home and saw Kennesaw Subaru across the street. I decided to pull in and was greeted by Ralph Kurland. As opposed to a car salesman, he was a Subaru ???aficionado???, and knew the product extremely well. Ralph asked a few basic questions and narrowed down the trim to the 2.5 Limited ??? ???L??? for leather as Ralph said. Before the test drive, Ralph did a quick overview of all the options the car had. During the test drive, Ralph pointed out features that could only be experience while driving. He discussed how some of the safety features in the car were also in the Subies both he and his wife drove. Before the test drive was over, I knew I wanted to buy the car, but did not want to show all my cards. I was ready for the hard negotiation. First, the car did not come with LED headlights standard on the Limited. Ralph soon found it on the lot. Ok, this it, all check marks were checked. Ralph then started the negotiation process. Surprisingly enough, there were no games, tricks or gimmicks. Great financing, and no back and forth with the finance manager. I was happy with the price and the product, and pulled the trigger. To say that I bought the car because of Ralph is an understatement. I???ve bought quite a few cars in my lifetime, but the experience with Ralph has erased years of bad experience with other dealers and car brands. While you may want to buy the car online, it???s worth your while to step into the Kennesaw Subaru dealership to see the product and have Ralph Kurland talk about the car. He???s passionate about the product, the brand, and his job. I now understand why people love Subaru???s ??? I???m a convert.
I took my 05 Outback in for a recall. I had scheduled my appointment by phone and the conversation was upbeat and professional and took very little time. When we arrived for the appointment we were greeted with enthusiasm and professionalism. We were shown to the waiting area (very nice and complimentary Jittery Joe's coffee). The work on my car was done in the time frame that was indicated when I scheduled the service. I took the time while I was there to speak with a salesman and told him up front, that I was only looking for information and I wouldn't be thinking about buying until next year some time. He gave me information on what I can expect to pay for a car 3 - 5 years old. No pressure, just the information I asked for. I knew I had a few things that needed service and as expected, these were highlighted for me when I checked out. Again there was no pressure, just information about what needed to be done. I asked for estimates on each item needing service and what they felt was the order of importance. They provided the information and also told me why they ordered the importance the way they did. Overall, an outstanding experience. Exactly what I have come to expect from my Subaru dealer. I expect to be doing a good deal of business with Hughes Subaru.
Mr. Alton Taylor had very good customer service. He was extremely knowledgeable and tried going over and beyond to get me in the car I wanted. Unfortunately, the financing wouldn’t match up to what I wanted. I still recommend people to him because he goes over and beyond to try and make sure needs are met.
Recently my wife and I went in to purchase a new car. We've always drove Dodge's and at the Auto show we sat and looked at numerous cars. We met Rachael Marlin. She was very friendly, and knowledgeable with all our questions. We set up an appointment to meet with Rachael a bit after the Auto Show. One of Rachael's biggest asset was that she was very patient, and didn't put any pressure on us to purchase the car that night. Rachael worked with us to get the best deal possible and that we would recommend her to any family or friend. Rachael remained friendly and professional with us throughout the entire process.
I was only buying a used car, but Matt Wager treated me like a customer buying a brand new car. It was late in the day on a Saturday when everything was finalized. I couldn't drive it home because every car is put through a complete inspection to ensure everything is up to the high standards of West Herr. And this is going to really amaze you.....they are delivering it to me----1 1/2 hours away. Who does that? West Herr obviously. They aim to please and make you feel comfortable in any way they can.
I was there to look at Subaru Outback 2013 certified vehicle. Gary Chew and Andreas there went above and beyond to help me get a good deal. They were very friendly and accommodating and foremost not pushy at al. Andreas was quick to pull out the car i wanted to see and help me test drive every vehicle i liked while Gary was more in to getting me good deal. I wish them luck in their future endeavor.

I can't say enough about Kevin and the guys in the service department. I started coming to you when the dealer I bought my car at told me I would need to wait about 10 days to schedule and oil change appointment. Seriously??? 10 days to get an oil change done???
I don't like to go to the oil change places so when I remembered I trip to Echo Park car shopping with a friend. I went online and was able to get something scheduled that very day. What a difference that was to me. I decided I would never go back to that other dealership again. I have been fortunate with my car so oil changes are very important to me in order to keep my Honda in good shape and servicing me for years to come.
On this trip I had just returned from a 4200 mile road trip across country. My service light came on 1000 miles from home and I was in drastic need. I was able to quickly get one scheduled that fit my life schedule. Something came up between scheduling and having my appointment. I was in a hurry to get things done. They were very honest with me by telling me it would take at least 45 minutes to get done. They set the right expectation with me. That's important for a busy schedule. When I arrived they were ready to go and had me out in about 45 minutes as promised.. and even washed my car!
I work in Customer Service myself so setting the right expectation with your customers is important. The friendliness and great waiting area don't hurt either:) Thank you again Echo Park Service for another great experience.
Our salesman Justin was professional, knowledgeable and great to work with. He made us feel confident in our choice and the experience was unlike any other car purchase I have experienced. I would recommend this dealership as well as the salesman to anyone looking for a Subaru!
I have shopped/purchased vehicles via dealerships in the past, and I have to say this was absolutely the best buying experience I???ve been a part of. A new vehicle is often a daunting experience, especially when it is a necessity, rather than a scheduled upgrade. We contacted Subaru via an online inquiry. We did not have a trade-in, as we had just received the news that my current car was beyond fixable, (and the reason for our inquiry). Aaron Hauer responded to our online inquiry very promptly. Though we live in Spokane, my partner works in Alaska, which can make these moments a bit tricky. Aaron was phenomenal in working around the logistics of spotty reception, time zones, and a few thousand miles. I cannot say enough about the sincere, non-pressuring, informative, and truly above and beyond, customer service of not only Aaron, but the financial team as well. Tyler was friendly, professional, and incredibly patient with my questions; which was greatly appreciated during my first ???brand new??? car purchase. I feel exceptionally good about our purchase of a 2016 Crosstrek, and very confident in the continued support of the team at the dealership. These gentlemen truly speak volumes for the brand, and the team at Spokane Subaru. I cannot say thank you enough!!!
My tire pressure light on my brand new Forester (purchased in San Jose) went on a couple days before heading through Sacramento for a work meeting. That light still hadn't gone out as the weather adjusted from Monsoon weather to fair Northern Cal weather, so I made a detour to Maita by reference to Cars.com's service finder on the app... I didn't have a service appointment, but they were able to squeeze me in and address the issue at no charge. Everyone was friendly, the appointment was fast, and I thank Maita for their help and hospitality (esp John in Service!).
My husband bought me my first Subaru almost 20 years ago. It was a Forester. After driving a small sedan, the SUV was quite an experience. I was a skeptic of these types of cars, but after a few weeks I was hooked! I had that Forester for almost 20 years. When it was time for a new car there was no doubt in my mind what I wanted. I did try an Outback but preferred the roominess of the Forester. The sales personnel were fantastic - informative but not pushy. When my daughter told me she needed a new car, I took her straight to Maita Subaru and she was treated wonderfully. She is now also a proud owner of a Subaru Forester!
I wanted to buy a WRX STI Limited 2018 (WR Blue) and i couldn't find in any dealer in Bay area and i did a lot of research online, asked a lot of people on how to negotiate a better deal, visited several dealers and lastly i end up with Carlsen Subaru, met a Sales man called Richard and i told him what i wanted, i remember it was April this year, Instead of him pushing for other Wrx's they had or pushing me to press an order immediately he advice me to wait a few more months for a new version of it and promised to let me know once they are ready for ordering, two months later he texted me "The 2019 wrx sti limited is open for orders now," I went to his office and it didn't take me more than an hr to Finalize everything, and it was the best deal compared to what i was expecting, I am now driving my new WRX STI Limited 2019 and its more than a car, its exactly what i wanted, Thanx Richard and Carlsen Subaru for making my dream lively

He answered all my questions promptly and was very friendly to speak with.I can honestly say that he made my experience painless and helped me out so much when I was looking for my 2019 Subaru Outback. Super great guy and I would highly recommend him to all my friends and family. Everyone I came in contact with at Carlsen Subaru was very friendly and outgoing. All around great experience.
