I travel 10 miles to go here for service because the dealership is small and has a friendly atmosphere. It is easy to get too and even in high rush hour traffic times there's no problems getting into the driveway and finding parking. Unlike the larger dealerships across the Island, Metric is an independent (just Subaru) and is truly hassle free. It has less customer volume which enables them to focus individually on getting things done. Service is typically done faster than the original estimates. When they say an hour it usually means 35 minutes. Its the dealers job to make money on services. I get it. However it is cost competitive with other dealerships in the area. I'm still waiting on their new facilities proposal to be built as the building is old and needs updating. The service waiting room is small and you will need to walk about to stretch your legs as it's too tight for tall folks to extend knees locked. The waiting room chairs need to be updated for longer sit ins, they serve their purpose for 30 minutes tops. What really is nice, is your free to walk the facility and grounds while waiting with out an employee asking if you need help every 5 minutes.
Metric Subaru was my choice to buy my new Outback and I was very happy. They didn't haggle or hard sell, they just gave me a good price (I researched before) and a fair deal. My Outback has surpassed my expectations and I am a very satisfied customer.
My salesman, Joe Iucci, took a lot of time with me in setting up my sale and explaining the features on the car. After the purchase process was complete, he sat in the car and showed me/demonstrated all of the cars features. He was extremely helpful! The female finance person, whose name I forgot, was also very helpful.

Being familiar with Subaru's I came into the dealership knowing exactly what I wanted and what it would take to make a deal that day. The staff was friendly and courteous. The premises was clean and inviting. My salesperson, Joe Iucci, was excellent. Buying a new car can be a nightmare but it was NOT at Grand Prix Subaru and the deal was sealed. I would highly recommenced both the dealership and specifically Joe Iucci. Will definitely come back and recommend to my friends and neighbors.

bought my 4th subaru from them and referred at least five different people here to purchase their cars. Best deals in price, best value in service. I worked with Ray the finance manager who always did the best he could in terms of making sure we got the car we wanted within our budget. The amount of effort he puts into making me feel like my business matters is really important and essential. That's probably why I'll not only be buying Subarus, but from only Grand Prix Subaru as well. There were only two things that bugged me, one was that I was told the car would be there in two weeks, and I waited over a month. Not really the dealerships fault that the shipping can't be faster, but the team always did their best to give me a status update. And Ray called me to tell me which incentives to take advantage of to get the best final deal in that time. He didn't have to go out of his way, or maybe he did, but I appreciate it. I was a little taken aback when all I was told to pay was 1000 cash at pick up and then told I had to pay an additional 1300 for the extended warranty, but I plan on keeping this car for a while and the extended warranty through Subaru is the probably the best thing for long-term owners. I picked up the car on a rainy day, so obviously they couldn't detail it, but they said come back any time and they'll do that for me. Of course I'll be back! Overall I got a great deal on the Ascent, a car that's very in demand and probably hard to find any deal at all.
This was our first purchase from Grand Prix Subaru... probably won't be our last. From the moment I first walked in the door, I was made to feel valued and welcomed as a customer. No high pressure tactics. Joe Iucci listened to what I wanted and made some good suggestions to tailor the vehicle for my needs. Ted Hanlon, the sales manager, helped lock down the deal. I am very impressed with how smoothly everything went. This is my second Subaru, third counting the one my son bought after driving mine. We love the product and now feel as though we have a go-to dealership for our needs.
This dealership was absolutely incredible from the time I walked in I didn???t wait very long , service was incredible.The salesman I dealt with was very knowledgeable of all of the cars and really worked with me to find the right car for the price that fit my budget. I would happily recommend this dealership to anyone who???s looking for a new car.
Two years ago, when we were ready to move to Conn from Ohio, we asked our Subaru customer rep in Columbus to recommend a Subaru dealership that we could depend on. He gave us Garavel's specific contact info and that was very helpful when we needed some minor adjustments to one of our leased cars after we moved to Conn. More recently, in October 2018, we had a real catastrophe when both of our Ohio Subaru Foresters were totaled in a flash flood so we got in a rental car and went back to Garavel. We met Gary Bauman who understood our dilemma. We knew that we wanted two Foresters and Gary knew everything about the great new features and he explained and demonstrated them to us. When we said goodbye to Gary the first time, Joe drove home in a 2019 Forester that was available in the lot - it had his name on it. Jeanne was happy to wait a little longer for her beautiful red 2019 Forester that is the envy of everyone, and when we said goodbye to Gary the second time, we were completely satisfied. Since then, we have recommended Gary and Garavel to others whose cars were destroyed in that flood. We are certainly satisfied customers. Thank you, Gary and Garavel!
