I have bought multiple cars from this dealership. This is my fourth Subaru. They are always professional and courteous (not pushy). This is the second Subaru my salesman George has sold me. My previous car was only two years old and I was not really looking to buy. In fact my husband and I were just curious about the new 2019 standard safety features. We actually thought the dealership was closed. As it turns out, they were not and George happen to come out to greet us in the lot. As with my prior purchase with him, he is awesome at his job. My 1st Forester is a 2009 turbocharged model which is still going strong with 110,000 miles. The newer Foresters offer safety and convenience features mine doesn't have so I decided to upgrade. The 2019 Forester no longer offers the turbocharged version so I opted for a certified pre-owned 2018 XT Touring which has a turbocharger. I love the vehicle but because the turbo is no longer available, the used turbo versions have become quite pricey. I am keeping the old one for hauling dogs, lawn equipment and towing my utility trailer. The new one will be just for people for now. The vehicle is just the right size. I am 6'4" and would appreciate a little more leg room and thigh support but the Forester is as comfortable as any other small SUV I checked. There is plenty of headroom. The turbo does require premium fuel and has a lower mileage rating. With the turbo and sports tuned suspension, it is a fun vehicle to drive and worth the money to me. In over 10 years, the older one left me stranded only once when a drive belt broke after 100,000 miles. Based on reviews, I expect the same reliability from the newer one.

My old car was my third minivan in 15 years. Now that my kids are older and leaving for college, I wanted something that could carry 6 or 7 passengers but was ... well... NOT a minivan. I did some research on late model used three-row SUVs, and found the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. (My favorite of my three vans was a 2005 Nissan Quest, so choosing Nissan was easy for me.) Before I started browsing for cars, I applied for credit through Carvana, and was approved. Next, I entered in all of the information about the van I was trading for the Pathfinder. (Beware -- the trade-in amount is only good for 7 days, and it can change wildly in that time!) I was pleased with the trade amount, and it was great that I could shop for my new car and see my down payment and monthly payment for every car I viewed! My specifications were pretty clear -- AWD, less than 10,000 miles, and never a rental car. I found my dream car a few days later, and started the purchase process. It was quite smooth and the directions were very clear about what documents need to be uploaded. When I went to click on "finalize purchase" (or something like that), a red flag popped up...my trade-in value expired WHILE I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF CHECKING OUT! I got on chat with Carvana staff right away, and they were able to return the trade in value to NEARLY what it was before the expiration. This is something that needs to be addressed by Carvana -- once a customer is to a certain point in the process, those numbers need to be frozen. So we set a delivery time, and the Carvana rep was pretty much on time considering he was traveling 70 miles or so from the Chicago office. Everything was smooth -- signed a couple more papers, took my Pathfinder for a spin, Eric inspected my trade, and I left within 30 minutes with my new car. I would also like to add that I drove directly to my mechanic, so he could inspect the car and make sure I wasn't buying something with hidden damage. I own an '09 Subaru Impreza, which I bought new and have taken great care of the car since my purchase. A few years ago, I began having a problem with the car steering being tight and it had a squealing sound associated with it. I took the car to different mechanics to resolve it, to no avail. I brought it to Miller Subaru service and they resolved it right away and accurately by replacing one of the belts. This year my coolant line burst while I was traveling on the AC expressway on Mother's Day. I had the car towed to Miller, as there is no other mechanic I trust as much as them at this point. It has been a frustrating experience going to one mechanic after another who is either not correctly solving the problems or trying to take advantage of you when you're in a bind. Miller Subaru was able to work with me to resolve the issue that far exceeded my expectations. Service Manager, Dan Dewey was exceptionally helpful, communicative, and knowledgeable. I can't thank Dan Dewey and Miller Subaru enough for helping to get my car (and livelihood) back on the road. THANK YOU!!!

I like the comfort and the visibility of this car. All who have ridden in it feel that it’s comfortable too. Love the eyesight package which gives warnings regarding blind spots and so forth. Find it very easy to parallel park. My only complaint is that the audio controls aren’t intuitive to use, at least for me.

So, cars keep getting better . . . and the Chevrolet Malibu is no different. My wife's 2002 Malibu is still running pretty well, but after 16 years and 128,000 miles is basically a bucket-of-bolts. It was time. She's been driving a used car for 13+ years, so it was time for a new one. . We will not use Ciocca Chevrolet in nearby Lawrence for a number of reasons, so we looked around. Called Pine Belt in Lakewood, but a salesperson never got back to us . . . Burlington Chevrolet had a few Malibu's aggressively priced so we emailed . . . and heard back almost immediately from their internet contact. This was no bait & switch. Drove there that night and met with Waldeck "Walt" and Chris who could not have been nicer or more professional. Decided I wanted the LT with some of the driver-safety options and they gave me a price $1-$2k less than the best internet-calculated "fair price" due to various Chevy incentives at the time. Stacy working credit, found a great loan package which I took, is also super professional and efficient. I am a purposeful, careful purchaser and, yet, I was extremely pleased to have purchased a car the same day at Burlington Chevrolet. I get they truly enjoy matching the right car to their customers at a very fair price. Good people. I will recommend my mother-in-law (whom I love) go there for a Cruze.

In 1998 we decided to lease our first Subaru and, of course, we visited your dealership first. However, it was not a very pleasant experience because people there were not friendly to us, and we had to find another dealership. When our lease had expired, we came again to your dealership. Unfortunately, after 3 years, the story repeated again. Since we are fans of Subaru, we have a new lease every 3 years. Before 2014, we got three Foresters and one Outback. In 2014, we had to lease a new car and we decided to try your dealership one more time. We were really surprised! The entire atmosphere there was completely different: sales consultants were friendly and knowledgeable. We remember that in the middle of our conversation with a consultant, Robe Shintaku (sales manager) came to us. He asked a few questions about the options we would like to have in our new lease, and then he went to check out our car. In 15-20 minutes, he came back with an excellent offer. We could not believe this is the same place: this team completely changed the business for better. We remember final part of our business ??? it was a very pleasant meeting with Gary Segal. Three years passed quickly. Several weeks ago, without any scheduled appointment, we came to Glanzmann Subaru again to get our Subaru #6! Our sales consultant was a very nice young man Scott Fields. We began our conversation and suddenly we saw Rob Shintaku. He came to us and after a short pause, he said, ???Are you Vishnevsky? Sorry, I don???t remember your first names???. We were completely shocked ??? after three years, he remembered our last name. It is impossible, especially with the last name like ???Vishnevsky???. All procedure took no more than 20 minutes: we got an excellent deal; by our request, Rob promised to add several features to our new Outback. In a week we got a beautiful Subaru #6! Dear Mr. Glanzmann, we would like to thank you and your fantastic team for an excellent service and understanding of client???s needs, being professional and courteous and willing to satisfy a client. This is a great vehicle and we're so glad that we purchased one. We've had a couple of minor things go wrong that should not have such as the drivers side visor starting to squeak loudly. All said we are very happy with this car. On the down side there is now standard technology out there that is not available. Automatic wipers are missing and items like remote start and subaru's safety and security package are extra when Honda includes them both free. But my biggest issue is not the car it's that there is no convenient dealersl or service anywhere near me. The nearest service is 45 minutes away. The next car will have to be available locally.

Excellent vision in all directions from the Forester. We like the no non-sense styling of the Touring 2.5i. Easy to get into and out of which matters if getting a few years on you. Very good gas mileage and handling with excellent performance. The AWD is certainly one of many key selling points. Fit and finish is excellent with very good reliability so far. We think it is a excellent SUV and would definitely purchase another Subaru SUV if needed.

Does the end justify the means? Definitely not! That said, my ultimate experience with Rafferty was both enormously gratifying and also, for better or worse, just as upsetting at the beginning. The first half of that remark is for the dealership; the latter for my fellow consumers. However, both parties could benefit tremendously by considering the last-minute, Hail Mary, work-a-round I accidentally ended up applying Without naming names I'll just say that sales reps - within every industry, and just like us - have both good and bad days. The corresponding features of each can have a profound effect on one's level of focus, will, energy, helpfulness, determination, interest, caring, etc, etc, etc. If you were a rep wanting to win an award for salesperson of the year you'd better be on the positive side of those traits. If you are a consumer, however, and purely by chance happen to find yourself dealing with a "bad day" rep, don't blame the dealership. Rather, hang up, call back and specifically request a different person. That's what I did - but ONLY after five days of steaming over what happened during my first attempt. On the fifth day I was actually in the process of wiring money to a different dealer for a car I decided I could probably live with when suddenly the internet went down. Everything stopped. I thought for a moment, picked up the phone and followed the above advice. The outcome? I was paired with a rep with whom I was able to connect genuinely, and ended up getting the car of my dreams. The moral: Neither steam nor groan, Unless flawless you've been shown. Realize that dealerships keep multiple reps on hand for the express purpose of compensating for the daily allotment of "bad day" reps who, for the sake of all, would have done far better to call in sick.

I like this vehicle except for the engine shutting off when stopped. it does have an override switch, but if I forget to set it the engine will automatically shut off. that's the only thing I don't like about this car.

I finally had an easy hassle free car buying experience. I have owned a few Subaru's and had about 4 months left on my lease. I thought it was time to begin checking out new cars. I have never dealt with Rafferty in the past but they had the most inventory in my area so I thought I would check it out. I started emails with Jessica, the internet rep. We already discussed pricing for the make and model I was interested in before I walked into the dealership. I walked into the dealership at 9:30am and drove off the lot in a new vehicle by noon. My sales rep Steve Heck was friendly personable and knowledgeable about the vehicle. There wasn't the usual phony haggling that I have encountered at other dealerships. I had already researched the fair market price for this vehicle with options and Steve came back with a figure that was right in the sweet spot. The Finance portion with Jim McDonald was fast and efficient. I have previously sat for over an hour going through paperwork. I was done in 10 minutes. Jim answered my questions when I had them and we moved through the mountains of paperwork effortlessly. The car got detailed and Keith walked me through all the electronics and operations. It was a pleasure dealing with Steve and the rest of the staff at Rafferty. Don't let the construction going on keep you from visiting the dealership. Yes its a bit of chaos but out of the 6 new cars I have purchased over my lifetime, this is the first experience that wasn't a painful drawn out ordeal that took all day. Oh and so far, I love the car

The best example of why I love this car: passing all the stuck in the snow giant four wheel drive trucks in the parking lot at work to easily park and leave as well. Bravo Subaru

I had not purchased from Rafferty in the past, but had been bringing both my Subarus to them for service for several years, and their Service Department is excellent. I was dropping off my WRX and thought I'd see if they had a new model in stock "just to check out". I was introduced to Ben Weyant and after an honestly enjoyable hour or so I was leaving in a 2018 WRX in the exact color and with the specific package I wanted! It really was that easy. And "enjoyable" is not hyperbole! Ben is one of the nicest people I've met in a in long time, he made the whole experience truly pain-free! I highly recommend Ben (and all the staff) at Rafferty Subaru!

This car is perfect for me. It combines comfort, reliability, styling and exceptional performance on all types of roads. I have the Touring turbo model which is very quick off the line and hustles down the road easily when prodded. Combine all of that with the practicality of an SUV and you can understand why I am in love with it. I prefer to drive it over my other car (which I also love), a 3 series BMW, because it is as quick but much more versatile.

Ben clearly knows his product and absolutely goes beyond what I would expect in a car sales experience. We truly needed to go "old school" and visit the dealer to see how we would fit in a different vehicle model as we've been driving all-Ford for 15 years now. His ability to compare the Subaru line (Crosstreck & Forester vs Ford Edge) was remarkable. He understood our needs and catered to them, understanding that we were not ready to make the move...just a few months left on our current Ford Lease. A 20 minute conversation and a walk around the lot together allowed us to hear about our options so we were more prepared to make a final decision. We will be back to work with him in the very near future and will absolutely be telling our family and friends to do the same. Definitely a refreshing feeling to know Rafferty has such talent. Ben set the standard for us and we truly hope our upcoming experience with him and other staff is just as exceptional.

This car meets and exceeds all of my needs. I looked an numerous wagon-like models, because my old car was . VW Passat wagon. I looked at the Outback and the Forester, and immediately chose the Forester because of the feeling of space (more head room, bigger windows, and the moon roof).

Great car, but battery died after 6 months and Bloomington Subaru didn't make it easy to get it replaced. This is a known issue with Foresters.
