My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

I first owned a 2013 impreza. I totaled it at 103,500 miles and bought a 2018 impreza with 7800 miles. You would think after 5 years Subaru would get their bluetooth connectivity issues fixed. But obviously not. I'm playing music in my car get out of my car with it still running, get back in my car put it in reverse and my phone randomly disconnects and will not reconnect until I restart the car. And heaven forbid you take your seat belt off a split second before you put it in park because it will beep like crazy even after it's in park! So stupid! I feel like my 2013 impreza was a little quicker as well. My 2013 had all the recall/lawsuit problems so hopefully the 2018 is better build quality . Other then those small problems it's been a great car and I like it.

My old car was my third minivan in 15 years. Now that my kids are older and leaving for college, I wanted something that could carry 6 or 7 passengers but was ... well... NOT a minivan. I did some research on late model used three-row SUVs, and found the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. (My favorite of my three vans was a 2005 Nissan Quest, so choosing Nissan was easy for me.) Before I started browsing for cars, I applied for credit through Carvana, and was approved. Next, I entered in all of the information about the van I was trading for the Pathfinder. (Beware -- the trade-in amount is only good for 7 days, and it can change wildly in that time!) I was pleased with the trade amount, and it was great that I could shop for my new car and see my down payment and monthly payment for every car I viewed! My specifications were pretty clear -- AWD, less than 10,000 miles, and never a rental car. I found my dream car a few days later, and started the purchase process. It was quite smooth and the directions were very clear about what documents need to be uploaded. When I went to click on "finalize purchase" (or something like that), a red flag popped up...my trade-in value expired WHILE I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF CHECKING OUT! I got on chat with Carvana staff right away, and they were able to return the trade in value to NEARLY what it was before the expiration. This is something that needs to be addressed by Carvana -- once a customer is to a certain point in the process, those numbers need to be frozen. So we set a delivery time, and the Carvana rep was pretty much on time considering he was traveling 70 miles or so from the Chicago office. Everything was smooth -- signed a couple more papers, took my Pathfinder for a spin, Eric inspected my trade, and I left within 30 minutes with my new car. I would also like to add that I drove directly to my mechanic, so he could inspect the car and make sure I wasn't buying something with hidden damage. Mechanic said to me, "This car is perfect, like new." Just what I wanted to hear. Thanks Carvana! I am telling everyone I know about you guys. Good to work with you! Janet - 2017 Nissan Pathfinder

I drove this Subaru Sport Premium for 6 years. My first AWD car and I loved it! This car blew my Mazda 3 wagon out of the water. There was no comparison for driving in snow, ice and rain in New England. It was the mid model and I was very happy. Cloth seats were fine and comfortable, ample storage. Bluetooth was bad, and generally the cars Tech was sub par. My major complaint was the advertised 26 city / 37 hwy MPG. This estimate IS criminally wrong. Not even close, after 6 years the best combine was 25 MPG and that included round trip drives from Boston to Montreal with NO stop lights for 100s of miles. Also issue with 'wheel bearings' at the tune of $500. According to the mechanic, Subarus are know for this issue and this was only one rear wheel, uugh. But this car did me fine for 6 years and choose to trade up to a new brand and leave the awful MPG and 'wheel bearings' behind. I'll see how the Buick Encore goes for 6 years.

Does the end justify the means? Definitely not! That said, my ultimate experience with Rafferty was both enormously gratifying and also, for better or worse, just as upsetting at the beginning. The first half of that remark is for the dealership; the latter for my fellow consumers. However, both parties could benefit tremendously by considering the last-minute, Hail Mary, work-a-round I accidentally ended up applying Without naming names I'll just say that sales reps - within every industry, and just like us - have both good and bad days. The corresponding features of each can have a profound effect on one's level of focus, will, energy, helpfulness, determination, interest, caring, etc, etc, etc. If you were a rep wanting to win an award for salesperson of the year you'd better be on the positive side of those traits. If you are a consumer, however, and purely by chance happen to find yourself dealing with a "bad day" rep, don't blame the dealership. Rather, hang up, call back and specifically request a different person. That's what I did - but ONLY after five days of steaming over what happened during my first attempt. On the fifth day I was actually in the process of wiring money to a different dealer for a car I decided I could probably live with when suddenly the internet went down. Everything stopped. I thought for a moment, picked up the phone and followed the above advice. The outcome? I was paired with a rep with whom I was able to connect genuinely, and ended up getting the car of my dreams. The moral: Neither steam nor groan, Unless flawless you've been shown. Realize that dealerships keep multiple reps on hand for the express purpose of compensating for the daily allotment of "bad day" reps who, for the sake of all, would have done far better to call in sick.

After visiting several other dealerships in the past month, we found our Wrangler JK at Rothrock! NONE of the dealerships compared to Rothrock! I was truly awed by the service and compassion shown by Tony Bittenbender and Miata Norman. After finding the right JK for us everything went off without a hitch. Tony was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and fun to work with. He made us feel like WE really mattered, not just moving a vehicle. A really great experience. Until we crawled into our new ride and discovered we had less than 2 gallons of fuel. Not really a huge problem, but it was 21:37 (SAVY) and we live a little over an hour away and don't know the area. Miata was the last person in the dealership so I explained the problem to her. She was shocked, and immediately came outside and took care of the issue. On our way home we even received a call from Tony. Kudos to Rothrock and their AWESOME Team! Together Everyone Achieves More !

I finally had an easy hassle free car buying experience. I have owned a few Subaru's and had about 4 months left on my lease. I thought it was time to begin checking out new cars. I have never dealt with Rafferty in the past but they had the most inventory in my area so I thought I would check it out. I started emails with Jessica, the internet rep. We already discussed pricing for the make and model I was interested in before I walked into the dealership. I walked into the dealership at 9:30am and drove off the lot in a new vehicle by noon. My sales rep Steve Heck was friendly personable and knowledgeable about the vehicle. There wasn't the usual phony haggling that I have encountered at other dealerships. I had already researched the fair market price for this vehicle with options and Steve came back with a figure that was right in the sweet spot. The Finance portion with Jim McDonald was fast and efficient. I have previously sat for over an hour going through paperwork. I was done in 10 minutes. Jim answered my questions when I had them and we moved through the mountains of paperwork effortlessly. The car got detailed and Keith walked me through all the electronics and operations. It was a pleasure dealing with Steve and the rest of the staff at Rafferty. Don't let the construction going on keep you from visiting the dealership. Yes its a bit of chaos but out of the 6 new cars I have purchased over my lifetime, this is the first experience that wasn't a painful drawn out ordeal that took all day. Oh and so far, I love the car

I love my car! The sport version is perfect and has everything for a great drive, without too many bells and whistles. Nothing beeps at me when I'm reversing, leather seats are comfortable and heated and it's the perfect size to fit almost anything (including a xmas tree!). My only gripe is how slow it is to pick up when you put your foot down - this response could be improved. Would buy another one.

I have owned this car for almost 4 years now and love it. I'm almost six feet tall and I fit comfortably inside it though if someone is behind me they may be a bit scrunched up. If you're a smaller person you'll have no problem fitting into one of these. Car handles great, the AWD is great for Colorado Winter Driving. Never had a problem there. Only minor complaint is that I can't see the end of the hood so I've hit a couple of curbs in my time. With it being smaller and shorter than the outback, the hatchback version is great for getting around some of the narrow streets here in Denver and the car can fit a surprising amount inside of it. Would highly recommend the vehicle.

Nicole Vieira originally called me about Subaru's Upgrade Program as my 2015 Forester could be upgraded to a 2017 model. She was quite friendly and helpful over the phone and spent all the time I needed to ask questions and clarify the whole process. She then handed me over to Nick Spiezio as I had spoken to him before about the program and finally decided to get serious about it. I also spoke with AJ Marvelli at that earlier time. AJ spoke to me about the lease program so I could consider that path also. Both AJ and Nick were very friendly and patient, making the whole process informative and pleasant. When I revisited Nick on 6/22/2017, he very patiently went over what we had talked about earlier and went into much more detail. He spent literally hours with me! Since AJ was not available at the time, he went over the leasing option with me too. I decided that I wanted to go the leasing route. He also brought in Kyle Booser to give me more I put on the leasing path as Nick said that leasing was not his area of expertise. Kyle was equally friendly and helpful. In the end, I decided to go the leasing route, so Nick looked at my 2015 Forester and worked out the numbers for leasing. Then he handed me back to Kyle Booser handled all the financial and legal paperwork (a LOT of documents!). He explained each document to me before I signed it, allowed me to read whatever I wanted before I signed it, and was very helpful throughout the whole process. He stayed until after 10 pm to get everything finished so that I could drive out with the new vehicle! Moxk stayed also to help finish everything up. Plus Nick also moved most if the "junk" in my old car into my new car--no mean feat! Both Nick and Kyle went over and above the call of duty which I appreciated very much! Great people to work with!! I haven't found one person at this dealership who isn't friendly and very helpful. Great dealership!!'

I bought the car on 9/28/18 from Northwest Motorsports. I come to find out the radiator is shot when I turned on my ac and the car got hot. I haven’t even made my first payment. The salesman went to their Lynwood location the day before and on his way back the car he said blew a hose and he fixed it. I don’t think this is the kind of problem I should be having for an $8,000 car already

At the end of June my daughter and I were travelling from Philadelphia back home to Buffalo in her 2015 Suburu Legacy. We hit a large piece of wood on the Turnpike about an hour west of Allentown, PA going 75 MPH. The Suburu, very fortunately, handled the impact extremely well, but we knew there had to be some damage. This was INCREDIBLY FRIGHTENING. We thought we only had a flat tire. Called AAA who put on spare But told us we needed to get a tire to travel back to Buffalo. Went to tire dealer who told us rim too damaged to replace tire. Called all area Suburu Dealerships. Ciocca was the only t have the rim we needed. When we arrived at Ciocca, we were greeted by Assistant Service Manager Maura Janicki. She immediately could see that we were both very upset by these events. She was amazing. It was like she was welcoming us as family into her home. She gave us water. She arranged for us to take a loaner to get something to eat nearby while they worked on the car. While we were eating, she called telling us the damage was much more severe under the car and parts not availalbe until next day. We returned to dealership and told her we had to return to Buffalo for work and would be renting a car and returning on Saturday to pick up car. Maura wouldn't hear of it - she arranged for us to take home a brand new loaner to insure a comfortable ride. This woman deserves the customer service award of the year! When we returned to pick up the car on Saturday, we were told that after the repairs were done, the test drive proved that the wheel bearing needed to be replaced as well! All said and done, we looked over the bill and were astonished how fair and reasonable the pricing was. I wish we lived closer to Ciocca Suburu. They would HANDS DOWN have every bit of auto business from us in the future. I must also give praise to Chris Hatsis who also assisted me with this ordeal and Jess Miller. Both were just as caring and kind. THANK YOU MAURA, for your care and kindness. THANK YOU CIOCCA for your above and beyond service.
Downsizing a Mixed Blessing

Back in the day we had a Suburu Impreza liftback. It seemed sturdier and had more storage than the 4 door 2014 we just bought with 56,000 miles on it. Our most recent car was a 2005 Sienna but we've had several mechanical issues with it. Compared to the Rogue we also test drove, it has better reliability rating and cost much less, but we preferred the Rogue's "Back End." I gotta say, the buying experience at the dealer's was MUCH more pleasant than last time I bought at a dealer, decades ago.

From the moment that I contacted the dealership, I knew this was going to be the place that I purchased my newest vehicle from. When Ilona took my call, she made me have a feeling that I was in the right place. She was very knowledgeable and when she did not know the answer to something she was completely honest and advised me that she would get the answer. Ilona scheduled my appointment for 1145 AM and set me up with Alyssa Bragg. As I was about to depart my residence for the dealership, I received a phone call from Alyssa who wanted to make sure I was aware of their location and she also wanted to know if I had any questions or concerns she could address before I arrived. I have purchased other cars in the past but have never had a favorable experience as such before arriving at the dealership. Once I arrived at the dealership, I was promptly greeted by Alyssa as she led me to her desk to have a brief conversation. Alyssa is a very upbeat and energetic person and will make you feel right at home and comfortable. She was easy to have conversation with and she was also very knowledgeable. The one thing I appreciated about my experience with Alyssa is that she personalized it. From having the car ready to show and to go with my name tagged on the mirror. Alyssa also made this a superb buying experience because not one minute did I ever feel a bit of pressure from her nor did she try to "upsell" or change my mind on my selected vehicle. I have purchased vehicles ranging from Ford to Cadillac and I have never had an experience quite like the one I experienced today. The sincerity in the dealership is second to none as it has a "family" feeling as everyone is so courteous and friendly. Alyssa made this experience worthwhile and I was in and out the door in about two (2) hours. There is no question of where I will be buying my next vehicle from and the associate that I will be dealing with. Ciocca Subaru and Alyssa with be who I recommend to anyone that I know that is in the market for a new or used vehicle. If this dealership has other associates like Alyssa, they are truly built for success! I drove sixty miles to get to Ciocca and it was well worth my time as Alyssa and this dealership has far exceeded my expectations. Thank you Alyssa for such a positive buying experience!!!!

This car meets all of my needs. There are a few minor changes to make the car more ideal, but for my price range I couldn't ask for anything better. I love having a car sunroof for the first time.

Fabulous car, some downsides

To be honest, the car is great. It looks and feels great in and out. The seats are stylish and the dash is sleek and has a large touch screen (mines a Sport model). However, there are downsides. I love how cool the screen is, but not having buttons feels dangerous. I have to look down too much to hit the buttons since I can’t feel then like a regular radio/whatever. Secondly, whoever thought it was a good idea not to make he cup holders round is crazy. Half is curved, but then it’s straightens out to look like a short bullet shape. What this means is that no cup is secure and the drinks bounce around and when you learn about it it’s from spilling coffee all over in your brand new car cuz you went over train tracks. Third, the transmissions jerks sometimes when you let off the accelerator. When it downshifts you can feel the car since back as the transmission starts to stop the car when it should be saving energy by coasting. These I’m told are normal traits in the car. Lastly, the 28mpg city rating is false. I get 20 in the city driving like a grandpa. Apparently these things suck when the engine is could and my 2 miles commute sees the worst efficiency I can imagine for a brand new 4 cylinder with such a good rating. All in all though, I like it and it’s a sexy car.
