My experience purchasing a vehicle from Nate Wade Subaru was exceptional from start to finish! My initial contact was through an online inquiry and request for an ePrice - I was connected with Josh Kelly. Initially I was just testing the water as to my options to upgrade from my 2013 Subaru Legacy to a 2016 Legacy with EyeSight and other new safety features. I had my heart set on a specific color and was flexible with the options, to a point. A couple trips (225 miles each way) to Nate Wade Subaru to check out inventory and test drive a few cars - helped set me on the track to purchase. The only difficulty was when I decided on options I wanted and found that there were two cars on the lot appointed as I wanted - but neither in my preferred color. Josh searched other dealers and found there was actually one a short (40 minutes) away which was exactly what I wanted. It was a Saturday - a busy one at Nate Wade, Josh had several customers simultaneously and I never felt that I was anything but his top priority. He took the time to try to contact the other dealership to see if they would do a dealer trade for the car but the other dealership said they were shorthanded and didn't have time. This didn't stop Josh from trying other routes to see if the car was actually available and could be obtained for me. He said if it was he would drive there and get the car for me. Needless to say, the day ended without word from the other dealer so I went home. By the end of the day Sunday, I felt I'd adequately explored my options - between getting the car from the other dealer or selecting one on the lot which had the options but not the exterior/interior color I preferred. I was back on the road to Nate Wade Subaru on Monday morning. I met with Josh briefly to look over the printouts for the different cars, then went to look at the vehicles they had on the lot. Josh went to work to see if they could get the car from the other dealer. Ultimately this dealership agreed, but had changed the price on the car - so I declined. (Sorry to put you through all the Josh!) Instead I purchased the one at Nate Wade even if it wasn't the color I'd originally hoped to find. It is a lovely car (same exterior color as my 2013) and has some really awesome features! Once I'd finally made up my mind, Josh handed me over to Nick Poulos to finalize the paperwork. Nick is quite a character! It was a pleasure getting to know him a little while he walked me through the sea of paperwork. It truly felt like talking with an old friend in the short time in his office. He definitely added a nice personal touch to the process. Thanks so much Nick for the special care and everything! I really enjoyed driving home (3+ hours on the freeway). It was a stormy day and my new Legacy handled the slushy/snowy road with nimble road-hugging reliability that I expect, know and love! Subaru's are the best and Nate Wade Subaru and their staff are top notch! Thank you all!
It's good but not great

I first owned a 2013 impreza. I totaled it at 103,500 miles and bought a 2018 impreza with 7800 miles. You would think after 5 years Subaru would get their bluetooth connectivity issues fixed. But obviously not. I'm playing music in my car get out of my car with it still running, get back in my car put it in reverse and my phone randomly disconnects and will not reconnect until I restart the car. And heaven forbid you take your seat belt off a split second before you put it in park because it will beep like crazy even after it's in park! So stupid! I feel like my 2013 impreza was a little quicker as well. My 2013 had all the recall/lawsuit problems so hopefully the 2018 is better build quality . Other then those small problems it's been a great car and I like it.

I was SO impressed by Jeramiah's manner in dealing with me. I have dealt with Nate Wade for the past 10 years (service department) so when I decided to trade in my 2008 WRX and lease a new Outback, Jeramiah was the sales person I ended up with - lucky me! Jeramiah made sure that I chose the exact model that would fit my needs. I was totally surprised that from start to finish, I was only there a mere 3 hours to drive off in my new Outback! Nate Wade is the best!
Fabulous car, some downsides

To be honest, the car is great. It looks and feels great in and out. The seats are stylish and the dash is sleek and has a large touch screen (mines a Sport model). However, there are downsides. I love how cool the screen is, but not having buttons feels dangerous. I have to look down too much to hit the buttons since I can’t feel then like a regular radio/whatever. Secondly, whoever thought it was a good idea not to make he cup holders round is crazy. Half is curved, but then it’s straightens out to look like a short bullet shape. What this means is that no cup is secure and the drinks bounce around and when you learn about it it’s from spilling coffee all over in your brand new car cuz you went over train tracks. Third, the transmissions jerks sometimes when you let off the accelerator. When it downshifts you can feel the car since back as the transmission starts to stop the car when it should be saving energy by coasting. These I’m told are normal traits in the car. Lastly, the 28mpg city rating is false. I get 20 in the city driving like a grandpa. Apparently these things suck when the engine is could and my 2 miles commute sees the worst efficiency I can imagine for a brand new 4 cylinder with such a good rating. All in all though, I like it and it’s a sexy car.

I previously owned a 2008 Subaru Outback, purchased new at Nate Wade Subaru in December 2007. The main reason for purchasing my Second Outback (this time a 3.6R Limited) from Nate Wade Subaru after 169,000 hard desert and mountain miles, was Mitch Leavel and Gerald Thompson in the Service Department. It is the most thorough and trustworthy automobile service department I have ever been to, and one of the main reasons for purchasing my 2nd Subaru at Nate Wade. I never worry where in the hinterlands of the various mountain ranges in the Wide Open Western US my next road-trip will be, as I know I will make it back safely. They always take the time to answer my questions to completeness. My car salesman, Robb Patterson, was the perfect amount of "mellow" coupled with an even-keeled patience, as I am a high-strung individual who just wanted the 6-Cylinder Outback with a Sunroof. He was extremely detailed in responding to my questions, and there was little to "haggle," as I was a returning customer to Nate Wade, and Nick Poulos took care of me.

Eric Duran met me at the door and very kindly asked if he could help. I told him I wanted to test drive an Outback. I even got to pick the specific one. We drove it, I loved it, we discussed the car and all the options it had (it was a Limited, and literally had everything I wanted), and the MSRP price. He told me my price would actually $3.5K less than MSRP. That was in my price range. He didn???t go talk to a manager and flash a bunch of numbers in front of me, then go back and talk to the manager again, to see what kind of deal they could give me. He simply spoke to me. Gave me the price. Told me he could give me a $500 discount if I belonged to Costco. He wrote up the paperwork, and the finance dept checked my credit at the same time. By the time I spoke with Nate in financing, everything was good to go. We met for about 20 minutes. I added on a clear coat bra option, and signed the paperwork. it was the smoothest, most relaxing experience I???ve ever had. It was the antithesis of the 2 other dealerships I visited the night before. Didn???t realize it could be so anxiety-free. They are wonderful people, and I would refer anyone I know to go there for their next car buying experience.

I took my car in for a oil consumption test because I had received Limited Service Campaign (LSC) about a year ago but did not have any oil consumption issues so did not take it in at that time. When Ii finally took it in the time was up to have it checked. Still they ran the test for me at no charge. They also offered me a car wash at no charge, I couldn't do it that day so they gave me a rain-check for it. All the staff where friendly, kind and helpful.

3 years ago I realized I needed to bite the bullet and purchase a new car. In the past I have always been able to find a car for sale by owner, pay cash for it and be done with it. I was no longer in a position to do this and was wringing my hands about not only dealing with a car dealership but also about having a car payment. I was interested in a Subaru as that was my first car I had ever owned and loved. I had been doing some work with one of Subaru's marketing team at the time and he heard about my dilemma. That's when he he promised me that if I went to Subaru - it would not be as traumatic as I imagined. Guess what? He was right. I worked with Dave and opted to lease a vehicle. He never once made me feel pressured. Only that he was there to help me find what was best for ME not what he could finagle out of me for himself or the dealership. Recently after my lease was up I returned to decide what I should do next. At this point, because of the excellent experience I had with Dave in 2013 and the wonderful care and service I received from that time on I was positive I wanted another Subaru and that Dave would help me find the best fit for me. Long story short . . . he did! Dave and staff were 100% helpful, no pressure and truly enjoyable to work with. Thanks for the clam chowder recipe Dave! :) My opinions of dealerships have changed. Subaru for life!

I'm at the very beginning of using my new Subaru Impreza and I can not rejoice that this is exactly what I wanted, there is enough space for legs and shoulders, the car is fast and very maneuverable and most importantly has all wheels drive like the rest of Subaru. Very pleased with the purchase and especially the price for lease.

Had a 9am appt Thurs the 7th - they got me right in. Derek was very helpful & nice. The whole place smelled like awesome breakfast!! it was very nice the TVS were off, it was quiet & peaceful. Got me out in less that 40 minutes for an oil change and rotation, washed & vacuumed my car too! It was a particularly good day for customer service, and they were BUSY!!!! but running smoothly. I was given full information on the car I was buying. Was treated with trust, they let me test drive the car I was looking for immediately. This car is an AWD car like all Subaru's and it also had phenomenal gas mileage. Recently went on its first long road trip and it got an average of 39 miles to the gallon. I have had other cars of it type and none of them feel as sturdy as this one. The only issue that I have with this car is sometimes the backup camera can have issues, but this is supposed to be fixed in an update.

I've notice a lot of confusion from other reviews with the customer service and service at Prestman Auto so I thought I'd add my two cents and my experience. First of all, they have a policy where they allow you to browse on your own without any interruptions from annoying sales reps. If you need help for a test drive something else, just ask any staff for an available sales rep to help you and they'll find one. Also, if you don't understand why their prices are so low, you should read on their website to learn a little about them because they aren't your typical car dealership. About 2 years ago I bought a 2013 Ford Focus ST-3 from them for an excellent price. I have loved my car ever since and I would recommend this dealership to anyone especially my fellow car guy/gal.

I was looking to buy a newer used car and decided to go with either a Forester or Outback. My husband and I were put in touch with Nate Wade Subaru through the Costco Auto Program. Erik Robbins was great. The first time we went in we told him that we were just looking and weren't sure exactly when we were going to be purchasing (we knew it would be in the next few months). Erik didn't put any pressure on us and let me test drive both the Forester and Outback. A few weeks later my Mom was in town and she wanted to come with us to see what we were looking at for vehicles. Again we test drove a Forester and Outback. We decided to go with a new 2018 Outback because it had everything I was looking for in a vehicle. Erik was great to deal with again. He didn't put any pressure on me and let me know each step and told me before we started the next step that I didn't have to take that next step unless I was ready. That was really nice because I thought I was going to just show my Mom what I was looking at, but ended up deciding that day that I was going to buy a new Outback. Erik was great in giving my husband and I privacy when we needed to discuss things. He made us feel welcomed and comfortable as we were working on the different steps. When we got to the finance part Nick Poulos was also great. He worked with me on my financing, so that I was able to get something that worked for me. Both he and Erik were great at explaining things to me. I have had to stop back twice since I made my purchase. Once to get the windshield screen as I want one that fit correctly and the other time to get the Zurich shield put on. Erik saw me both times and greeted me. He made sure that whatever questions I had were answered and that if I needed any help that I was taken care of. I am so appreciative of how well I was treated. I have been in other dealerships were I have been pressured to buy a vehicle I didn't want and wasn't treated nicely when I didn't buy it. That was not the case at all with Nate Wade Subaru.

My 'No-Worry' leased Subaru Outback was coming up on 6,000 miles and needed it's first service. (And I was conveniently reminded of this by email). I'm on online chat and text person so that's how I scheduled the service knowing that I could have them come pick up the car and deliver it back to me. What I didn't realize until they asked for my DL and insurance information was that they were giving me a loaner car. Bonus! And the loaner car was supposed to cost $40 but they didn't charge me. I got text messages advising me that the concierge service was on it's way and could even track them as they traveled. Once they had the car they updated me by text that the car was complete and let me request the same concierge service for it to be dropped off and the loaner car picked up. This is the car world I've always wanted to live in. I bought this car online and only went into the dealership to drop off my trade in. (And apparently they are working on even eliminating that trip to the dealership in the future.) I really love this car but the service I've received has sold me on Mark Miller Subaru. They make car buying and maintenance easy.

The new 2017 Impreza 5-door (hatchback, wagon) truly hit the mark for us, so we leased one. Better value for money than similar hatchbacks elsewhere due to AWD, iSight, comfort, handling & mpg. Been driving Toyota/Lexus since 1973 but as our second car, this one's a winner.

This was the simplest, most low-pressure car purchase I've ever made. Their website makes everything extremely easy, given the accuracy of the information it contains. Other dealer websites I frequented often weren't up to date and wouldn't contain an accurate inventory so when I'd call about a particular car I'd learn it was no longer on the lot. They had an excellent selection of Legacy's in the specific trim package I was looking for and at a very fair price. The 0% financing option was also a huge factor in our decision to purchase at this time. I had been referred to a different dealership though the Costco Auto Program and the salesman that reached out to me was more interested in trying to persuade me that I should wait until the 2018s rolled out in August. Markk Patterson (the salesman that helped us at Mark Miller) gave me a very honest assessment of the pros/cons of waiting for a 2018. The deals on the 2017s were just too good to pass up at this point.
Bought it for the awd, got a great overall car

Live in Minnesota, wanted awd without the high step-in height of an SUV. Great traction and handling in snow. Was surprised how good the car is overall, however. Great handling/steering, very good ride. Nice interior, plenty of room, reasonably quiet. Power is adequate, but the chassis is so good that it is a shame it doesnt have 25 or 30 more horsepower.

I've been a customer at Mark Miller Subaru since I moved to SLC in 2012. I purchased my Impreza from the dealership and at the time I shopped around to several different dealers. I liked the Mark Miller approach so I purchased from them. Since then I've visited the dealer for all of my oil changes and repairs. I've always appreciated the customer service and not more than when I brought my car in for new tires. The man helping me in the service department saw that I was concerned about pricing. So, he actually found similar tires for me at a cheaper price at a tire shop. I was very impressed with his helpfulness and honesty in getting me the best price, even though it was not to his advantage. That made me a customer for life (or at least as long as I live in Utah!). :) So, it was natural for me to come to Mark Miller Subaru to trade in my old car and buy a new one. I came in and Mike helped me find the right vehicle. I already knew I wanted a Crosstrek so we looked through several options. I told him mileage was a concern so he found me the best choice on a new Crosstrek. I had a down payment on a basic model but he called a few days later to let me know a premium came in that was only marginally more expensive (but would hold more value at trade in). I wasn't interested in the extra features but was interested in a higher value so I came in and purchased it. While Mike was doing his job as a salesman by calling me on the premium I didn't feel rushed or pushed at all into the purchase. And I appreciated that he understood I valued the future trade-in price more than the extra features. It's that sort of relaxed approach and customer understanding that I really appreciated from Mike (and Mark Miller Subaru in general). I'll definitely be bringing my new Crosstrek in for all service visits as before and once that one is ready for a trade-in I'll be back at Mark Miller's again. Definitely recommend these guys for your car purchase and service!
Sturdy and Comfortable

This car is a crazy value for where its priced at all trim levels. With standard symmetrical all wheel drive in a compact as well as the optional eye site assist, it was hard to look else where. Mind you I live in an area where winter weather is about 4-6 months of the year. You wont win any drag races but it rides as smooth if not smoother than a full size sedan with the steering control of a sport, even in base/premium/limited levels. Highly recommend!

I needed no appointment to have my car thoroughly checked, new tires and battery, oil change, and general check-up, in about 2 1/2 hours. Workers are always friendly and professional. They also re-set my bluetooth and iPhone, as these items are re-set during battery trouble. However, since I spent $1000 for the work, I would think I'd get a free sandwich or something.
