Frank got back to me immediately and was able to give me a clear, honest offer within a day. I had the best closing experience ever on my Forester lease. The paperwork was prepared in advance, I just walked in, signed and left with my vehicle, exactly as expected. I have dealt with many dealerships in the past, having purchased or lease many cars. This experience was, by far, the best one I have ever had. I am a real customer. I would definitely come back again for my next vehicle. This is a class act dealership. Thank you.
Our son needed a car and had expressed interest in a Subaru Legacy. We had visited another dealerships but felt most comfortable here even though Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru was a distance from home. Glen was helpful, patient and made the experience a good one. It was our second time at the dealership with Glen to review our options of used versus new car purchase. We love that our son will be in a safe vehicle and he's excited to own his first car.
Gary Mendelsohn was honest, very helpful and easy to deal with. I purchased a 2019 Forester from Gary Their finance dept. was very helpful, they contacted Subaru of America to find an Owner Loyalty coupon in the amount of $ 500.00 that I couldn't find.
Robert, my salesman, was pleasant and knowledgeable. He also went the extra mile (no pun intended) to makes sure I could take a good test drive of the car I ended up buying. They registered the car for me in New York, where I live, and Robert even put the plates on for me. They were attentive to my e-mailed questions, and follow up was good. I only gave 4 stars for “Facilities” because it’s a small showroom. I would highly recommend them as a place to buy a new Subaru.
Got internet price quote on the Subaru I wanted. The sales call was followed up by Diana Kalmykova , set up an appoitment for test drive. Diana was professional, listend to what I wanted and didn't try to over sell. Sales tranactions went smoothly and the price was right. I recommend this dealer for people looking to buy a Subaru in the tri-states area. By the way, Diana's boss - Jonathan came off as pretty arrogant in his communications but he turned out to be a good guy!
Two years ago, when we were ready to move to Conn from Ohio, we asked our Subaru customer rep in Columbus to recommend a Subaru dealership that we could depend on. He gave us Garavel's specific contact info and that was very helpful when we needed some minor adjustments to one of our leased cars after we moved to Conn. More recently, in October 2018, we had a real catastrophe when both of our Ohio Subaru Foresters were totaled in a flash flood so we got in a rental car and went back to Garavel. We met Gary Bauman who understood our dilemma. We knew that we wanted two Foresters and Gary knew everything about the great new features and he explained and demonstrated them to us. When we said goodbye to Gary the first time, Joe drove home in a 2019 Forester that was available in the lot - it had his name on it. Jeanne was happy to wait a little longer for her beautiful red 2019 Forester that is the envy of everyone, and when we said goodbye to Gary the second time, we were completely satisfied. Since then, we have recommended Gary and Garavel to others whose cars were destroyed in that flood. We are certainly satisfied customers. Thank you, Gary and Garavel! This is my second car purchased from Curry Hyundai and both times I was extremely pleased with the customer service I experienced. The entire process was handled perfectly and I left the dealership with exactly what I asked for. The car, price, and terms all exceeded my expectations. Due to this level of customer service I am a lifetime customer!
I recently went to Subaru to test drive the Forester and the Outback with intentions of trading in my mini van. The staff were pleasant and quick to serve us. Once introduced to Howard Bonfield, he asked some questions to ascertain what type of vehicle and features I was looking for. Howard is very knowledgeable of the Subaru product and explained differences of many aspects of the vehicles. The test drive was most important and helped me make my decision. The purchasing process was easy and when I returned to pick my car, Howard reviewed everything on paper and also directly within the vehicle. I drove out of the Subaru dealership very confiddant that I made the best decision on this purchase.
I would have given all 5 stars but a couple of mishaps occurred. Due to a computer problem I couldn't pick up the car. They couldn't print the paperwork. We waited 2 hours only to have to leave without the car.
During that time they went over the details of the car, made a USB drive of music but never offered us anything to drink. I than left and drove the 20 minutes back to work to make an appointment I had previously scheduled. The salesperson, Kevin, was very gracious and delivered the car to me but I don't understand why I didn't get a call not to come in, they knew about the problem at 9:00. I don't come from around the corner and I had to ask someone for a ride and thankfully she stayed and drove me back to work.
I used car.com and they showed us how that worked, offered several models that fit into our price range but during our conversation also answered test messages on their phones. I am older than 60 years of age and I find that poor etiquette. I also have a business and I would never do that while with a customer, my customers do it to me which I also find rude. I realize this may be generational.
I dealt with another local Subaru dealer and left during the process, this was a far better experience. I would come back and recommend it.
Our Sales Consultant did an outstanding job of explaining all of the features of the vehicle we purchased, a Forester. He did it when we first walked in, when we did the test drive, and when the dealer was turning the vehicle over to us. He came in on his regular day off to turn the vehicle over to us. The dealer needs to enlarge his facility, which is very busy, and they have plans to do so in the near future by relocating the service department to a separate nearby building which will allow them to outfit a bigger showroom. I will have to get used to the no-haggle pricing arrangement which I believe was bona fide but can you really ever know, but it definitely is a step in the right direction. MSRP versus invoice has always been too much of a moving target which has depended on one's price knowledge and negotiating skills. I gave four stars for pricing, not five, because I don't really know if it was the best possible pricing but it was reasonable. I bought the car for safety, AWD as a standard, reliability ratings and fuel economy. It looks great also. I don't know why the Forester is classified as a compact. It seems spacious.
Bill Kolb Jr was a great experience for getting a Subaru. The sales people are knowledgeable. They wanted me to get the car I wanted and not something more expensive or something that was on the lot already. When they realized I needed the car before Thanksgiving they pulled out all the stops and got the car ready for me as soon as possible. The financial staff was incredibly helpful and straightforward. When I get another Subaru I will go here.
The dealership's no-haggling pricing on used cars and salesman Howard Bonfield's straightforward and informative attitude made my used car purchase fast and easy. The price I paid for the car was lower than competing area dealers. If you are in the market for a used Subaru, they have a great selection and very competitive pricing.
When we walked into Bill Kolb Subaru we were very fortunate to meet salesperson Howard Bonfield. We explained what we were looking for in a used car. Than he said I will bring you the car you want and he did. When he appraised our used outback for trade in, we looked it over together and we agreed on a very fair price for me. Howard was extremely knowable and went above and beyond answering our questioned. The finance person also was excellent to deal with. There was no pressure at this dealership. Howard placed us in a fantastic used outback limited with all of the safety features. We enjoyed our buying experience with kiln Subaru, all very capable people taking good care of their customers.
I previously bought 3 subaru's from Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru, then bought a 2018 Honda CRV, very unhappy so I went back to Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru and bought a 2019 Subaru Forester. I felt like I was home again !!! I was only gone for 6 months but it felt like a lifetime. Joe Postighone sales manager, Marty in finance, Howard, my salesman, Nixon and Gregory in service all accepted me with open arms. This is the best dealer that I have ever dealt with. They are knowledgeable, friendly, honest, and give the best service. They are thorough when you go in for any type of service. They treat you like FAMILY !!! I feel so much safer in my Subaru then I did in the CRV. I would recommend this dealer to everyone.
