I love the look, performance, features, comfort and reliability. I have owned VW's, Ford Pinto, Audi Fox, Honda Accord, Toyota Tercel, Chevy Malibu, Chevy Impala and a 1942 Pontiac that was a gift from an old neighbor who went into a Nursing Home in 1964. I had the most fun in the '42 but my Legacy is by far the nicest car I have ever owned.

I've purchased two cars from Colonial Volkswagen Subaru. Shawn Koegler worked tirelessly to get both cars for me, and even taught me how to drive the first one (it was a manual transmission). I would recommend them to everyone I know. They are the nicest people, and you won't feel like you're being "sold" at all. Please give them a shot if you are considering a new car. First of all, who travels 700 miles to buy a car? Well, if you're like me and you're shopping for the best deal on a car that ticks all the boxes for you, maybe YOU should travel that far. Yes; it's a giant leap of faith. But sometimes when you make such a leap, you're rewarded beyond your expectations. This was one of those times. My wife and I were looking for used 2016 Outback Limited 2.5 with all the trimmings. We found a few around our area but they cost more than what we wanted to pay. I expanded my search to include the entire country. I discovered an Outback with everything we wanted, including the color, located at Colonial Subaru. It was priced thousands below what we had seen in our area. In fact, it was the cheapest one of its kind in the whole country! Skeptical, I made a call to the dealer and spoke with Bob Andersen, who explained in detail all the aspects of this car. As luck would have it, I have a friend in the area who I asked to go by and take a look. He gave a 5-star thumbs up to the car AND to Colonial. I called Bob back and placed a deposit on the car. I flew up the day after Thanksgiving and was greeted at the airport by Bob himself. We chatted about Subaru (this is my first-ever Subie) and about my particular car and its features. I explained to Bob that I wanted to close the deal as quickly as possible in order to get on the road for my long drive home. The deal could not have possibly gone faster or smoother, yet Bob managed to explain all the details about the car to me and get me set up with Starlink and Sirius Radio. I had called ahead a couple of days before to have a remote start system installed. That job was done and the car was waiting for me when I arrived. After a quick test drive, I signed the papers and off I went. Everyone I dealt with or spoke to in order to make this long distance purchase a reality couldn't have been more knowledgeable or friendly. Bob, Karen, Erica, Justin & Dawn; they were all fantastic. I was treated with great respect and, although I asked a LOT of questions and sent a lot of texts and emails, not once was I ignored or pushed off to someone else. When I discovered a minor problem with a missing accessory days after I had driven the car home, it was taken care of just how I expected it would be - with speed and precision. Thank you, Colonial Subaru, for making this experience such a positive one for me and my wife (she LOVES the car, btw). If you're looking for a good deal on a Subaru, I can't imagine you could do any better than Colonial. As crazy as it may seem, when it's time for my next car, I'll be looking to Colonial first.

I like the Legacy and it’s safety features. It was comfortable and roomy. AWD was good in snow and easy to drive. It also has some nice features like the Bluetooth, a CD player and cruise control. Backup camera was also a plus.

Knowing my Saab wouldn???t last much longer, I began my car search a few months ago because I had no idea what I wanted. The last time I bought a car there was no such thing as an SUV! It wasn???t till a week ago that ???treated??? myself to a visit to Wilkie Lexus. Lucas was a champ explaining the ES 350 with more technology than I ever imaged a car to have- for perspective heated seats were my idea of luxury. I was sold. Yes there were a few more visits to Wilkie as I navigated the financing options (translation-asked a lot of questions), but Lucas and Ray were so helpful and patient. Ultimately I drove away in a beautiful car. Many thanks to Lucas for the open offer to return with any technology questions! My suggestion, don???t keep driving by Wilkie with stopping in to see their vehicles, you might find exactly the car you were waiting to find! Not to mention a wonderful shopping experience.

After my Subaru was totaled in an accident, I wanted to replace my 2006 Legacy with one from the same era (2005-2009). I ended up purchasing a pre owned 2009 Legacy Limited and really love it. It is a much heavier car than the 2006 by 145 pounds, but it rides just as smooth. The car has a classic sports sedan style to it, and gets decent gas mileage. I wish Subaru would go back and redesign the Legacy to the more sportier, compact size of the Legacy series from 2005-2009.

Bought it new in Oct 2011, fantastic in snow, I live in a hilly area of PA and still get 28 mpg local and 33 mpg on trips, only issue I had with it was had to replace front wheel bearing, which i did myself. Takata air bag issue was fixed promptly by dealer, very satisfied with car and dealer, Minooka Subaru Moosic PA.

bought my 2009 limited pzev 2.5i with 23k, one owner. I broke 4 wheel bearings, 2 cats (recalled), the radiator, and an oil sensor. there were 9 recalls which is a bit sketchy. I bought the car as a test really - to see if subaru's really are unbreakable, reliable, and cheap to maintain...im not exactly disappointed... the car currently has 160k of HARD miles. I purposely put a beating on this thing. I tried to get it stuck in deep snow and NOT ONCE would it get stuck. every morning hot or cold it turns right over. engine light came on one time at 150k for an oil pressure sensor ($120), but that's it. the drive train feels invincible - I literally cant break it - I see another 160k added with ease. as for reliability - anything that broke was my fault, or recalled. I think the front end is ugly, its a little long for a car, and everything about it is incredibly basic, but for an overall review I can honestly say this car is great. a little expensive for the basic features, wish I got the GT, but as reliable as they say Subaru's are. 11/10 in terms of mechanics and reliability.

The Subaru Legacy is an excellent vehicle. Subaru has nailed the practicality formula with this vehicle. It is large inside, gets excellent fuel economy, has strong mechanical components (engine, trans, AWD system), and is a perfect family vehicle, though the engine is lacking in power. However, and this is a big, however, the Subarus are NOT built for your comfort. The seats are comfortable enough, as is the ride comfort, but the lack of refinement is alarming. The vehicle is loud, brash, and has little concern for luxury. The interior trim is cheap plastic and rough to the touch. There is very little sound deadening, a decibel meter read 79 decibels at only 50 mph, unacceptable in modern vehicles. Reliability is something great to be concerned about, and Subaru offers an excellent package for reliability and practicality, however, the lack of concern for refinement and quality engineering, especially in todays market, is bad enough to make me sell the car. In a modern market, reliability is something that can be found in most vehicles, but modern interiors have improved far past where Subaru is currently. Want reliability, get a Toyota. Need AWD, get a Toyota RAV4. Your comfortable bottom will thank you for it.

I love this car!! Never having owned or been in a Subaru before, i have always loved the idea of full time All Wheel Drive!! This car delivers on that, the handling in snow, rain or even dry road conditions is way different from other vehicles and you can feel it while steering! The interior is amazing, layed out with enough room to feel comfortable, in all seats...even in the back (others have told me.) The layout of controls and the general interface of the car is great, once situated, you will feel comfortable with everything within reach!! Always being at the top of the game in safety, i feel more then relaxed in my Subaru!! Knowning that i can pretty much handle anything that might happen, from possible hazardous drivers or road conditions. Always wanting a Subaru and finally getting one, has made driving a completely different experience...i have used this car several times to travel long distances and it is amazingly comfortable, with the lumbar support the seats provide, as well as general comfort of the leather seats. Excellent car all around!!!

We live around the corner from Scott Honda and have had our 2003 Civic Hybrid serviced there for 14 years. The old car is still running -- that thing will probably never break down, thanks to Honda's indestructible design and Scott's fantastic mechanics -- but we figured we should finally get a car we could plug our phones into without using the tape deck. So we came to Scott, wondering if their sales department was as good as their service department. It was! From beginning to end, Greg was upbeat, respectful, informative, transparent, and attentive to our requests. We wanted another stick shift, which a lot of people haven't even heard of anymore, but Greg was right there with us, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the things stick shift snobs are enthusiastic about; he gave us great advice and compelling opinions from start to end without trying to change our minds about our fundamental preferences. After we decided what model we wanted and priced the same car at other dealerships, I figured it'd come down to brass tacks with a good haggle, but Greg gave us a great price right off the bat -- $600 less than what any of the other dealerships had offered us, possibly because of our "Scott Loyalty Points" from our decade+ in the service department. Even better, the price he named was the actual price we paid, no surprises. He did offer a bunch of expensive extras, but didn't try to push the soft sell when we declined them (though he did treat us to an entertaining story about a makeup explosion in his wife's car in his bid to sell us that crazy Zurich Shield!) Our time completing the finance process with Tom was great as well. Tom also had a whole list of expensive extra warranties to sell us (but like Greg was completely respectful and didn't argue when we declined them). Absolutely no surprises and great service from start to finish. One detail I should mention: there were some "pre-installed extras" already in the vehicle when it was delivered: you know what they are, things like wheel locks, pinstripe decals, a security system, things we didn't really care for and wouldn't opt for. These things are already in the vehicle and the dealers aren't going to take them out because it would be too much effort. But some dealers are coy about this; they try to leverage the situation to try to get you to pay for them (even though they're just going to throw them in no matter what) but Greg and Tom never tried to do that. I found that, above all, to be eminently respectful to us as customers, and although I don't really care much about having wheel locks, I don't mind having them and it was nice not to have to have any arguments about whether I was going to pay for them. In sum, buying this car -- a Civic sedan EX-T, by the way, which we are COMPLETELY IN LOVE with already -- was just a quality experience from beginning to end. For us, Scott Honda is three miles away. If you don't want to move to our neighborhood just in order to be close to them, you might still consider driving a bit out of your way to buy or service your car at Scott.

I drove this 15 Legacy Premium for a year now, bought it certified used, with 60000 miles on it, I put 20000 in one year and had 3 major brake downs with the car: 1) oil seals were leaking and needed replaced 2) transmission valve body needed replacement Both luckily were covered by warranty 3) starter was loose and needed to be re tighten that was not covered by warranty Other than that the car does give good gas mileage, drives well, and has good features. I’m glad I had the certified used but I can’t imagine buying this car with no warranty

I was looking to sell my Canadian vehicle and went to CarSense Chester Springs for a quote on a Saturday. They gave me a quote and I mulled it over for a couple of days then returned on a Tuesday morning to sell. The process was almost complete when they realized that they would not be able to resell my vehicle wholesale to an auctioneer (because it's Canadian and still reads in km) which meant the vehicle was basically useless to them. I could tell the buyer and other sales associates felt bad, but they also felt that their hands were tied and they couldn't purchase the vehicle from me at a loss. What happened next was truly unexpected. After checking all of their options and determining that yes, it was true that they couldn't sell my car at anything near the value they would pay for it THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD HONOR THEIR INITIAL QUOTE ANYWAY. And they did. My situation is pretty specific (Canadian vehicle, unfortunate oversight made when pricing out my vehicle, etc.) but overall it demonstrates that this is a dealership with integrity and heart. "Auto dealer" and "classy" aren't terms typically uttered in the same sentence, but I can definitely say that CarSense is a dealership with class. I have already relayed my experienced to several people and I will continue to do so. I would highly recommend CarSense Chester Springs.

Talk about a sleek car with available iSight camera system that helps ensure the safety of everyone in the vehicle. Comes with adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist. Automatic braking to avoid front end collion. Reverse camera with automatic braking and sensors to alert you of oncoming objects usually not in your immediate view when reversing. The day time running lamps are the sharpest looking thing on the road, I prefer them over my BMW LED day time running lamps. In terms of comfort you have all premium leather heated seats with a wood grain front panel that gives off a modern style. Steering wheel paddle shifters with AWD give you superb control. Keyless entry and push to start engine means you can quickly get in and go! Has the new shark fin antenna that flows with the vehicle. Automatic on/off headlamps and awesome fog lamps that individually turn on when making a turn to increase your visibility of the immediate low ground road which allows you to dodge every pothole.

We had no need for a car, since our 2009 Honda CRV had only 57,000 miles on it and was in mint condition. After a disappointing visit to Exton Nissan, it was certain that there would be no consideration or return due to the sales slip with MANY upchanges. I went to CAR SENSE to look and was given keys to drive numerous mid-size CRVs. I asked our salesman Ray about a particular vehicle and color which he found at the Hadfield location and had it in Chester Springs the next day in a snow storm. The buying process was swift and very accomodating. This vehicle should fill our needs for years. The service is" top of the line." Amazing sedan for the snow! Drives well. Great features. Really the only thing that’s missing for me is the automatic lock once the car is in drive and moving. You have to remember to lock the doors. Otherwise, I love it!
