My third Subaru and like the others is attractive and roomy enough to fit 5. I've hauled 8ft boards inside with the doors/trunk closed (only an Outback would hold more). The (now sadly discontinued) 6-cyl engine has about 51000 miles now and is smooth and sounds better than a four. Fuel economy is decent and, on regular gas, averages in the low 20s. It has all the 'nannies' which make driving safer for me. I just love looking at my car which is important to me. This one's a keeper!

from the first day I had it I haven’t had any issues with it as it handles great and gas economy is awesome. I don’t have a negative to write. I drove Lincoln’s for the last 20 or more years and because they stopped making cars and only Crossovers or SVU’s, I searched high and low to find an equivalent car and googled all the options that were a must and the Subaru Legacy Elite came up and my husband and I went to look and drove out with our new car and couldn’t be happier. The ride is comfortable and the car is just great.

Based on a recommendation from a long time friend, I decided to contact Union Auto Sales when it came time for me to trade in my car. I informed the gentleman, over the phone, of what kind of car I was looking for and how much I was willing to spend. He advised me to come to the lot and take a look at a few cars, and also told me that he would give me a price for my trade in. It might have just been good luck, but the day I went to the dealership, the owner had the newer version of the Honda Civic that I had been driving for the past 10 years and offered me a decent price for the trade in of my old car as well. Both guys on the lot, Pat and Tommy, are EXTREMELY knowledgable and helpful when it comes to their business. They worked with me (despite not-so-great credit) and I was able to leave with my new Honda the same day! I have had a lot of other bad experiences when it came to buying cars, and was really hesitant when my friend told me to check out Union Auto Sales. The guys have been in business on the same lot for over 15 years, and I'm not surprised. I will absolutely be back for my next car!

I was looking for a car for my daughter and had a budget which allowed a certain amount, not enough for a new vehicle. Under Consumers Reports, they listed the 2004 Legacy as a Used Car to Buy. I went on line and found one that was about 60 miles away from my house (which in Rhode Island) is far. I e-mail them and purchased the vehicle, bargained a bit and drove up there with a check to pick it up. They were worried that I might want to test drive the car, I said, "no, it's a Subaru, I know how it will drive." Simple an excellent buy! Have had the car for 3 months without any issues. This is the 10th Subaru in our family. In New England, can't think of any reason not to own a Subaru!

Bought 2013 Legacy 2.5 premium in early 2014 with approximately 9k miles. Now has 88k and other than routine maintenance no other issues. It has been and remains one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned. That includes a few BMW’s and Mercedes. Great all year round especially in the winter. Will definitely consider another Subaru if this one ever xxxxxx. Hoping not

This vehicle was purchased for me by my dad. He went thru Lyman Motors. They did an engine rebuild on this vehicle. So, even though its 15 years old, and has quite a few miles, it was for a fair price! And, with the engine rebuilt I know it will go for another 100k miles easy! Not my first subi, definitely NOT my last. This thing grabs the road like no other a bit of a stiff suspension at this point with 125k miles on it but she still rides like a dream!. great fuel mileage I get about 28mpg back hwy 35mpg highspeed hwy. seamless driving with the cvt transmission that you can also put in paddle shift for a geared feel. My only concern is she seems to drink a little oil. No leaks not burning subaru calls it consumption. But 1 qt every 1800 to 2k miles is a little much for me

I drive eighty miles round trip to work. My Legacy is quiet, comfortable and the Eye Sight is great! I’m safe and secure knowing my Subaru has my back. I’d like better mpg but at 32 on average I guess I shouldn’t complain. Love my Subie!

We got the 2.5 Premium version of this car. The safety feautres such as eyesight assist, lane change "alarms" and "smart" cruise control is amazing. These features are so awesome, it caused my husband to purchase a Legacy as well!

Eli was a great help on the purchase of our new vehicle. I saw the car and had a chance to test drive before i made a purchase. Autospot had a ton of selection of every make and model on hand. Purchased new in March 2018 Legacy Limited 2.5. Used as main commuting car until late 2023-now has 89000 miles. Commute 84 miles roundtrip at 80-85 mph, very steady and secure and 29-30mpg. Excellent in heavy rain (never driven in snow) we get in Houston. Will keep 4 more years but Subaru discontinued the Legacy so likely another brand if I want a sedan.

My husband initially gave a lot of pushback when I told him this was "the car for me". His car broke down just before a planned long-distance trip, so he had to take his turn behind the wheel of my Subaru. Every wife loves to hear " You were right"! Bought a Subaru Legacy mainly for my wife to use. This car had me questioning why I bought my Infiniti Q60 that was more than twice as expensive! Everything in the Legacy is so well thought out and the attention to details is extremely impressive. It's a wonderful car and great for road trips. Two and a half liter 4-cylinder feels much more powerful than its' displacement would imply, the air conditioning is so cold you could store meat in the car (comes on right away too), cabin storage is vast and the rear seat legroom is bigger than an old Checker cab (bigger than my old '71 Marquis Brougham-and that was a BIG car!). I have nothing but praise for my Subaru Legacy.

This car drives very well especially in wintery conditions. The car also has blue tooth which can connect a phone or mp3 player for playing music.

Purchased a used 2016 Subaru Legacy Premium 2.5i Premium with just under 40k miles on it. I’ve been driving this car for about 5 months now and so far can’t say anything but great things about it. I live in Chicagoland so it is a perfect car for Chicago’s weather.
