Used Subaru Legacy for sale near Southport, CT under $899,990

I bought a car here in 2010 and again in 2019. I have had my cars serviced there and been very satisfied. Albert in particular has been very helpful!

from the first day I had it I haven’t had any issues with it as it handles great and gas economy is awesome. I don’t have a negative to write. I drove Lincoln’s for the last 20 or more years and because they stopped making cars and only Crossovers or SVU’s, I searched high and low to find an equivalent car and googled all the options that were a must and the Subaru Legacy Elite came up and my husband and I went to look and drove out with our new car and couldn’t be happier. The ride is comfortable and the car is just great.

I’m driving my second Subaru from this dealership. However soon after I bought my 2021 model, they changed the crew at the service department. The guy that atended me on three subsequent service appointments reminded me of a used car salesman. He was disrespectful, made me the butt of his jokes, and overcharged me at least on one occasion. I was getting ready to change service stations, but in my last service, about a month ago, I found the service area completely remodeled, not only the physical arrangement, but the crew as well. I am happy to report that I’m glad I did not switch dealers, the lady in charge of the office is just great! She was attentive, respectful, and very knowledgeable! The whole crew was fantastic as well. I’m staying with North Coast Subaru.

I knew my tires were in need of replacing so I expected my last scheduled maintenance would address that. I was very satisfied. The service included everything… the mechanics checked rims, mounted a set of 4 excellent tires, balanced and aligned to my approval and delight. I bought my 2021 Crosstrek Ltd from North Coast Subaru February 2021 and have enjoyed the safety and quality of my vehicle every day! I felt the difference the new tires made immediately and will continue to use this service station though I have 2 Subaru Dealerships much closer to my home because I love the professionalism, the high level of mechanical competence and the ability to schedule, wait for and complete service on time! My experience at competition subaru of Smithtown has always been of excellence. The facility is always clean, the parking lot debris free. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Bought brand new off the lot in January 2020 and I've put just under 20K miles into it so far. Here's what I've seen so far: Good: - AWD keeps you on the road in even the most slushy and icy conditions. Driven this car through a few snow storms and never had to worry about losing control. - The driving assist safety features work very well, definitely has saved me from a couple minor incidents. Also the adaptive cruise control has revolutionized long roadtrips and I'll absolutely never be able to go back - Interior looks fresh and clean, seats are very comfortable. I'm always surprised how much trunk space this car has, plus the folding back seat make transporting some bulkier items easy. Bad: - I absolutely despise the entertainment system. The huge touch screen is cool but it is sluggish and unreliable. Often the inputs will lag several seconds or not register at all, which sucks when you're trying to turn on the AC on a hot day or the heat in the winter. The worst part is that sometimes when you start the car up, the user interface software won't start correctly and will crash, disabling all of the vehicle's safety features. Usually this fixes itself with an automatic reboot but that often takes a couple minutes. Once or twice I've had to pull of the road, turn off the car and turn it on again to manually cycle power to the console interface. - There's absolutely no reason to buy the sport mode when the CVT is so sluggish. Paddle shifters seem like they're almost disconnected as the difference between the "gears" is so minimal. - No way to disable the auto start/stop system, have to hit the touchscreen button every time. Overall: - I'd still recommend this car since the good definitely outweighs the bad. It's a car that does a lot of things decently but nothing exceedingly well. If you want a sports sedan, get the WRX. If you want a car that can handle rough driving conditions, get the Outback. If you want something more akin to a luxury sedan, go up a trim level to the Limited XT CVT. If you want a car that does all these things but doesn't lean too hard into any of them, this is your pick.

I must take a minute to once again review Dan Perkins Subaru, Milford CT. Dan Perkins Subaru provides a great atmosphere with A+ Customer service and reliability. To start, I must mention this dealer's importance of recognizing and acknowledging customers. Everywhere, including the lobby area, passing the technicians, and in the service office everyone makes eye contact and hail a greeting. I, once again, would like to give a five star rating to Gil and Marc, from service, for yet another commendable service visit and for always going that extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. And to also to add, the never-ending support of David. Last, but not in the least, the warm supportive staff of the service office. Thank you everyone.

I was planning to buy a luxury brand and test drove the BMW 3 series, the Audi A4, and the Lexus ES300. I then, due to reviews on Consumer Reports, tested the Subaru Legacy in it's top form, the Touring XT with a 260 HP engine, and I was blown away. Almost as quick as the BMW but rode smoother and quieter. Not as smooth and quiet as the Lexus, but more fun to drive. The Audi seemed cramped and the dealer was a disappointment. The Legacy interior was the most attractive in my opinion, has 4 wheel drive, a great sound system, and ended up being my favorite of the 4 cars, regardless of price. When you consider how competitive (or better) the Legacy is compared to the other 3 cars, and that I saved $13,000 on the price, it was a no brainer. It's really sad the Legacy is being discontinue, but all my comments also apply to the Outback Touring XT. The Legacy is a great car at a bargain price.

Bought the Legacy Touring XT model. Previously owned Lexus and Infinitis, and this is a good or better than those cars. Smooth handling and responsive engine/ride. Dashboard is easier to use than expected. Nice connection to Airplay. Speakers are great. Safety systems are very good. Leather is luxurious. I would never have selected this car if I didn't already own a Forrester, which is also well built. I feel like I bought a luxury car for a 15K discount if not more

The Ride is far better than the 2018 Legacy, the Turbo 4cyl with 260 HP makes a big difference when merging from an on ramp to major highway. The safety equipment is amazing. Subaru somehow built in shift points to the CVT. That along with the paddle shifters help the car perform more like a standard shift. The interior is much like a luxury vehicle. Fantastic comfy Nappa leather seating is first rate.

Bought 2013 Legacy 2.5 premium in early 2014 with approximately 9k miles. Now has 88k and other than routine maintenance no other issues. It has been and remains one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned. That includes a few BMW’s and Mercedes. Great all year round especially in the winter. Will definitely consider another Subaru if this one ever xxxxxx. Hoping not

The Legacy is an excellent ride, with all wheel drive for that extra dependability in the winter time. Subaru is synonymous with reliability. I would recommend to anyone.

My husband initially gave a lot of pushback when I told him this was "the car for me". His car broke down just before a planned long-distance trip, so he had to take his turn behind the wheel of my Subaru. Every wife loves to hear " You were right"! It handled ice, snow and everything else with ease plus great MPG!

Mario was the salesman that worked with my buying my cross tech. I had a broken hand he was very patient with me considering I couldn’t drive. He came to my house with the paperwork and sat in my driveway going over all the cars functions. I would give him over 10 stars

We went to D'addario's about a used Volkswagen SUV. I worked with Ed and he was phenomenal! Never made us feel pressured and the dealership worked with us on getting into the car at the price we wanted. Would highly recommend.

I drive eighty miles round trip to work. My Legacy is quiet, comfortable and the Eye Sight is great! I’m safe and secure knowing my Subaru has my back. I’d like better mpg but at 32 on average I guess I shouldn’t complain. Love my Subie!

My third Subaru and like the others is attractive and roomy enough to fit 5. I've hauled 8ft boards inside with the doors/trunk closed (only an Outback would hold more). The (now sadly discontinued) 6-cyl engine has about 51000 miles now and is smooth and sounds better than a four. Fuel economy is decent and, on regular gas, averages in the low 20s. It has all the 'nannies' which make driving safer for me. I just love looking at my car which is important to me. This one's a keeper!
