Searched two weeks for a specific Subie. Was running out of steam and ended up chatting online with a rep to see if SoL had the trim package I was looking for. It wasn't in their inventory but 15 min later I got a call from TODD, sales rep, he tracked one down that had just come in on their truck!! He got it in the inventory, ready to drive, and our paper work done practically over night!!! Mind you, we contacted them at 5PM... Came in, Len walked us through every feature (SUBIES ARE LOADED NOWADAYS), ran through Finance with Zach and took our new baby home!!! Its PERFECT, They're PERFECT

My wife and I had just returned from a 3,000 mile vacation/road trip in my Subaru XV Crosstrek. I called early Saturday morning 7/16 and asked if they could squeeze me in for oil change? I informed them that I live in Lakewood (45 minute drive), and purchased my car from them. Greg G. asked how soon can I get there? I arrived @ 10:30 and was out the door in 1 hour! Greg G. went through everything Oil change, Tire rotation, and a car wash (needed after 2 days driving back to Colorado from the U.P. of Michigan) and that my cabin filter was disgusting and changed it out for me! Excellent service experience and would recommend Greg G. And Valley Subaru to anyone!

The rear automatic braking system kills my love for this car. If the eyesight thinks you're going to hit something (a wall, another car, etc), it sounds a brief warning, then slams on the brakes. You might just be backing into or out of a steep driveway though. It scares the daylights out of you if you're not expecting it. Literally, the brakes will lock up. There is no instant kill switch for it, and it takes a while to turn it off while holding your finger on the button. I can't back into my own driveway without this thing slamming on the brakes unless I hold up traffic while pushing and holding a button to clear. It resets every time you put the car into reverse. I hate this "feature" so badly. I wish I could permanently disable it.

I have owned numerous Subaru's and have loved them all. Recently I had the opportunity to finance a car through Valley Subaru in Longmont, Colorado. Here is my story. I had a 2017 Subaru Forester XT with all of the bells and whistles. I purchased it from a Subaru dealer in Aurora, CO. I had that car for 1-1/2 years. Let me just say, the salesman at the Aurora dealership saw me coming. I was initially interested in a 2016 Forester I saw online that I could afford. When I went to look at it, he couldn't locate it and he showed me all of the new 2017 models. I admit that this was partially my fault, but he sucked me into all of the features of a new 2017. What I ended up with was a car I absolutely loved, but in reality, could not afford. This is where Valley Subaru comes in. After making large car payments for a year and a half, I asked a friend of mine to ask her service guy at Valley, named Rodger, if he could set me up with a non pressure sales person. I was going to try to trade in my expensive Subaru, for a lesser model that I could better afford. I walked in, and was immediately greeted by Tori, a very nice and personable sales person. She took all of my information and came back to me telling me that I actually had equity on my trade in! How often does that happen? She asked me what I would like in a new car, and I told her. She immediately showed me a 2018 model that I really liked and we test drove it. I loved it. And it was a car I could afford! Tori took care of paying off my old loan and establishing a new loan. She sat with me and explained EVERYTHING to me from the warranty, items I could keep that I already had, Starlink, etc. She even showed me how to do everything in my new car from setting up my cell phone, how to use my Ipod for music, what all of the sensors meant, what the lower paddles meant on the steering wheel. SHE did absolutely EVERYTHING. Tori is to be commended on her knowledge, her vivacious personality, and down right friendly persona. She is a HUGE asset to Valley Subaru. By the way, the sales person from my OLD dealership never even mentioned how to pair a phone, what the numerous paddles and what they did, etc. I actually called him and asked him about a concern I had, he told me to look it up in my new car booklet. For everything he did for me, SHAME ON HIM, AND SHAME ON (Shortline) SUBARU in Aurora. I will never buy a new car from the in the future. My car buying experience at Valley Subaru was the most exceptional I have ever had! I HIGHLY recommend Valley Subaru in Longmont! None better! Thanks again TORI!

We have been Toyota owners for decades. Our Camry was 20 years old and we needed to update. We took our time and visited multiple area dealers and looked at several different vehicles . The day we went to Valley Subaru to look at Outbacks we were introduced to a wonderful gentleman named Mayuran (Myron) Arunachalam. This salesman was unlike any we had meet before. Kindness and courtesy radiates from Mayuran and his calm and relaxed personality put us at ease. He first took us in his office and got to know us and what we were looking to purchase. Mayuran then printed out the package we were interested in and the offers that Subaru and the dealership were currently offering. Everything was laid out for us BEFORE we ever looked inside a vehicle. What a change! Then we went for a test drive. Mayuran answered our questions with confidence that showed his knowledge of the product. The Outback spoke for itself. Afterwards, we told Mayuran that we would have to think over our decision. To our surprise he just smiled and said, "great, let me know if I can do anything or answer any questions". What? No hustle, no pressure, no desperate attempts at trying to get us to BUY NOW OR ELSE! No drag back Amazing! No phone calls bugging to come back. We were amazed at this wonderfully different approach. My wife HATES going to look at cars but wait, she is smiling, relaxed. I think she is enjoying this, wow! So, long story short, we bought a Outback from Mayuran. And felt GOOD about the entire process. It should be acknowledged that Mayuran is a US ARMY veteran who has severed our county 3 times in the Middle East. I am proud of Mayruan and this dealership for hiring a vet. It means a lot to us! Mayuran is a tremdous asset to Valley Subaru and its customers. We can recommend him without reservation should you choose to visit this dealership. It should be mention that Dion in the finance department was exceptional. Pleasant and personable. He too explained all of our options clearly and answered all our questions in a relaxed fashion. Again, no hurried fast talking hustle. Just good information for us to pick and choose from. Our brief exposure to Valley Subaru Service department has also been positive. This people is the way to buy a car. Overall, this has been the best car buying venture ever for us and we have many decades of cars and trucks purchases to our credit. Thank you Mayuran, Jason, Dion and Valley Subaru for a truly great and different car buying experience! We will be back!

I didn't know where to get my car serviced when I moved to Boulder, so went to the dealership. Seven years later, I still take my car there. Flatirons Subaru's service department is courteous, reliable, honest, and treats female customers with the respect and integrity we wish we got everywhere. They have always stood behind their work, and on the rare occasion when something did not go as it should, they always made it right, including providing a loaner car. Service Manager Mathias is far and away the best service manager I've ever met anywhere. He has a rare gift for explaining mechanics in a way that customers can fully understand. And I've seen this service department improve and stabilize at a higher level since he took the helm. I love that there are more women working in this service dept also, and that this garage is free of the caveman mentality so prevalent in auto repair shops. The environment is pleasant to wait in, with free wifi and goodies if you so desire, and their service shuttle is terrific. The level of professionalism, respect, and even kindness I have experienced dealing with all the staff at Flatirons has been excellent.

After shopping around both on the internet and driving to various other dealers I found the best price for my 2018 Outback at Valley Subaru. Carrie Jones was the salesperson that I worked with. She answered my questions via email and was very prompt and thorough in her response. My wife and I made the drive from Greeley to Longmont on a Friday evening to look at the Outback I had chosen. I had selected a darker interior than my wife wanted, but Valley had a lot of Outbacks from which to choose so Carrie located the perfect car. The price was the same as quoted on the internet, Valley Subaru gave me a good price for my trade so there was no haggling, no hassle and absolutely no pressure from anyone at Valley. I had already road tested the Outback at another dealer so the test drive was more of a check ride in our new car. Paperwork was easy and straightforward. The part that most people dread is the trip to the Finance office, but our visit with Bill White couldn't have been more pleasant. We signed the necessary paperwork, he did explain the extended warranty option and other coverages on the car but there was never any high pressure to buy those products. I thought the extended warranty seemed reasonably priced compared to other dealers and although I have never been a fan of them, I plan to purchase the Subaru Added Security coverage. I will burn through the 36k mile standard coverage long before 3 years are up. I spoke briefly with Tom King, the sales manager, after agreeing to purchase my Outback. He was very personable. Carrie and Bill worked after hours so that I could take my Outback home that night. Carrie explained all of the features of my Outback; there are a lot of features to cover. She told me to stop back any time and she would answer any questions. Carrie went above and beyond and has followed up with me by email to make sure I have everything I need for a great driving experience in my new Outback.
This is the 1st day of ownership, I'm enjoying it

Best ICE / SNOW Vehicle

Looked at Volvo’s and the rest before deciding to buy a Subaru. The ride is noisy most of the time. So far, I get 28 mpg, so why buy the slow noisy 4cylinder? The traction system is called X-Drive and it works well in glare ice and deep snow. Dealer maintenance is outrageously expensive, charging $600 to replace 6 spark plugs. The. CVT causes this wagon to be slow even with the high output six cylinder. The cabin heating system needs to improve so that you don’t have to idle for 1/2 hour to get heat when it’s -10.

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

Backstory: I am going through a "credit crisis" and wanted to purchase a four wheel drive because I'm from down south and I feel like that is necessary in Colorado. Anywho I went to a Subaru dealer in Fort Collins and didn't get approved for a vehicle and I did not think that it was a terrible experience I thought I just didn't have what it took to get approved for a car loan at the moment... And then today I realized how terrible that other dealership experience was! So I set up an appointment with Kim at Valley, I was a little nervous about making the commute to the dealership just to get rejected again so I sent in my credit application and she said I needed to come in and appraise my trade-in and I put it in my head that I was not going to be able to get a car today because I just got rejected two weeks ago from a local dealer by my house. So I meet Kim and she has the best personality! She treated me like a best friend and yet she was professional but fun and perfect for my personality ! She gave me Oreos when my blood sugar was low (it's the little things) and she was confident during everything and let me test drive the car while Dion and Josh in finance worked some magic and numbers with my challenging situation (both dudes are awesome and helped make the whole buyer experience outstanding) Anyways they think OUTSIDE the box and somehow got my payments to close to what I pay already for my Chevy Cruz AND gave me 1500.00 MORE on my trade in than the local dealer by my house!! I don't like throwing other dealers under the bus so I won't name any because it could have been an off day but I had such a better experience at Valley in Longmont and it was worth the trip!! Here's a tip from me: screw the Boulder and Fort Collins dealers, make a call to Kim and make sure Dion and Josh work out the numbers and it will blow your mind!

Taking the Stress and Pain out of Car Shopping

Buying a car is stressful even if you have a lot of experience. Historically, it has been time consuming, emotionally taxing and most of us go into a dealership with far less knowledge than we ought for a purchase of the magnitude of a car. Salespeople have (understandable) pressures to move inventory and even the most fair-minded is looking to get the highest price they can get away with. It is harrowing at best. With my experience with Carvana, all of these stresses were eliminated. I browsed inventory as widely or narrowly as I wanted, for as long as I needed. I could dictate pricing ranges that were suitable for me. The car I received was *exactly* the car I examined online, right down to some inconsequential bumper scuffs. Beyond this, and *absolutely unlike* any other online business, I could speak to a *real human being* within a few minutes of calling (I had six or seven conversations with Carvana agents over the 3 1/2 weeks from car selection to car receipt). They either had the answers at hand, or researched them and replied promptly with a follow up call. Delivery coordination and drop off (and test drive) were *painless no pressure* experiences???all preparatory contract paperwork was prepared in advance leaving only title transfer stuff to take care of. It took 45 minutes, tops. (I transacted entirely in cash, so I cannot speak to the process when there is financing.) Honestly, the biggest delay was on *my* end getting the insurance transferred (having to wait on hold with my insurance company for 15 minutes). The car was 100% was described???absolutely no surprises. The images on the web site for my car were not stock images. What I saw was what I got. Naturally, it was clean, filled up with a full tank, with new tires and the whole nine yards. Even got a ???free??? Carvana reusable coffee cup and key chain. Nice touch. The part that I found the most extraordinary was the 7-day money-back guarantee, which pretty much covers a change of mind unless you get into an accident or drive it a ton (over 400 miles, and even then, they???ll take it back after a modest per-mile-over-400 charge). All in all, I was dreading buying a car (and selling my used one) and Carvana made it pleasurable. I am absolutely recommending them to all of my friends and coworkers and I hope (as a relatively new company) they keep up the excellent work.

Yes, where do I start. Do I start with this being the best car buying experience I've ever had? That would be too obvious. But it would be the absolute honest truth. I think that everyone is so used to going to the dealership. Being there for 8 hours (you should get paid for being there you're there so long). Sales people trying to up-sell you on every little thing that you didn't ask for. Just an all around miserable experience. Then you go to carvana.com. You put in exactly what you're looking for. Exactly what you want to pay and presto you have a wonderful car. I believe it took me 45 minutes to do this entire transaction. From first going on the site and finding my 2016 Chervolet Equinox (maybe 15 minutes). To uploading my paperwork (5 minutes). To being approved (5 minutes). To having the car delivered, taking a test drive and signing the papers (20 minutes). It was the best transactions I've done since finding my husband. I've told everyone I know about this. We've watched videos of other people getting their cars. Too funny. Thank you Carvana for this wonderful experience. Can't wait to get my Husband a car now.

Easier to navigate than the sedan I previously owned, which surprised me for an SUV. It is fun to drive. Comfortable, heated seats, plenty of storage space, media and navigation system are just a few of the perks I enjoy.

Rich, Len and Todd made the buying process informative, professional and courteous. We found the Subaru we wanted; it had just come in from shipment and the car was ready at the appointed time the next day for delivery. Rich walked us through the paperwork process with ease; Len did a great job pointing out the specifics of the vehicle from the technical perspective and Todd made the final paperwork process smooth and respectful. We came to Boulder Toyota, again, as we have been Toyota owners since Christ was a corporal. We knew, from a little research on the very good website, that the type of car we wanted was in inventory. It was a little unusual, as the model was the result of a cooperative agreement between Subaru and Toyota to build a two-seat sports car. By an accident of scheduling, we had just test-driven the Subaru-badged version, the BRZ [I think that is the designation]. The Subaru version had two glaring disqualifications : the front seats felt as if they were simply a piece of plywood, and the clutch operated like a badly-adjusted VW Beetle clutch [which we once went through getting fixed]. Gary Hillman was our contact, made through the website, and what a stroke of good fortune THAT turned out to be ! We explained that we had a two-seat, manual transmission car in mind, and that one on the lot met that set of specifications. Gary offered a test-drive, and we asked about how far [in distance] we could go. Behind the question was a problem the City of Boulder had forced upon us : to make the sidewalk "ADA-compliant," in case someone in a wheel chair came down the walk, the sidewalk had to be jack-hammered out and re-poured to be flat. Since 2/8/1989, no such person had EVER ben observed. No matter, the City was in charge, we were told. The driveway apron now scraped the front air dam of the 2007 Prius we bought @ Boulder Toyota 10 years ago. We were worried about the ground clearance on the 860 Special Edition we were about to test drive. Gary said "give it a try, but go slowly and be prepared to back out if you hear contact." Amazing offer, when you think about it! WHAT A BLAST TO DRIVE ! We did back out of the driveway without actually entering it, as yes, courtesy of the City of Boulder, we heard the front air dam scrape. Did not matter that we could not get it into the driveway, and therefore into the garage. WE WANTED THIS CAR ! [We already had some solutions in mind, as our next-door neighbor to the West had "invented" one method to keep his small Audi wagon from scraping.] Long story, yes, but illustrative of why the dealership, and in this case, the consultant, are so good to customers. We went back, said "Let's do this," and bought the 860 Special Edition that very afternoon. Had not had such a fine experience since the now-retired Satch Desai helped us buy the 2007 Prius. After-sales service just as good: I could not find the key device for the wheel locks [one on each wheel in place of ordinary lug nuts]. Went back, found Gary Hillman. He came out, looked in the "trunk " and there it was. [I had never even seen one of these, so I did not realize what I had been looking at.] In summary and conclusion: go to Boulder Toyota to get a reliable car [Toyotas are famously reliable] and have an excellent encounter with a well-informed, friendly guy named Gary Hillman. You will NOT regret it !

I especially like the room in the back storage area, i had to use it to haul bags of leaves when i first got it and could haul 8 bags, I can put in 2 golf bags easily, and for traveling its great.

I lost power to my steering wheel on my way home. I went to Subaru at Flat Irons where the girls at the repair counter were sympathetic and started gathering my information and working on a loaner for me. Mathias Horchreder came over and asked me what had happened. I explained the loss of steering and he went back and talked with Matt Moore. Matt came out and asked if he could take a quick look. He came back in and explained it was the belt and needed replacement. Matt offered to stay and replace the belt “if I didn’t mind waiting” or they could get the loaner for me. Mathias said “whatever is easiest for you, Matt is good and can probably have this done in half an hour or we have a loaner if your in a hurry. “ This has been the best experience at a repair shop. I have an 09 Subaru Legacy and have had my car in to various shops. Three of them I will never go back to. Thank you so much Mathias and Matt for helping me!! Wonderful customer service!!

I could not believe how easy - and fast - buying a car could be. I decided a used car was for me, so I started looking online and at local dealerships. All I can say is that that experience was enough to put me off the whole process. Dealer add-ons. Limited or no warranty. ???What are you willing to pay???? Enough!!! I saw an ad online for Carvana, which I had never heard of, and thought ???what the heck.??? Such a great find! From the quick and easy search, to no haggle pricing, to easy payment (I was able to pay cash online, but they also offer financing), to a no-risk 7-day return policy AND an additional 100-day warranty on top of that! There was nothing to lose. It took only a few days for delivery - to my home! - and the paperwork was handled in about 5 minutes. They even had a notary show up! They handle the registration, too - no waiting in line at DMV. Bottom line: I love the car, I got it at a good price, and it could not have been easier. Actually, it???s scary how easy it was. I have to stop myself from looking more on he Carvana website, lol.

The Subaru is fantastic, It has a lot of options, the important ones like the winter package for the cold northeast winters! It was off lease and had 30K on it when I bought it. It still smells new! Battenkill Motors put 4 new tires on it new brakes and a new battery in it before I took delivery. it’s my 3 year old brand new car!!!
