I had a battery with one bad cell (or so AAA told me after they started my car). So I called and then drove straight to Paul Miller Subaru which, as it happened, was having a sale on batteries. I checked into Express service and asked them to put in a new battery and check my wiper blades. The whole thing took about 20 minutes and I was back driving to work with a new batter for $100 plus installation and a new free set of wiper bladed that happened to be under warranty after 8 months. Pretty cool.

This car is unbelievably practical, well made and good looking. It has great gas mileage and is extremely reliable. I have never had ANY issues with it. I once went on a ski road trip with 4 of my friends and we all fit comfortably with all of our ski gear in the back & skis on top! I am so sad to say goodbye to it. I am only selling it because I am graduating Medical School and starting residency in NYC in June.

I just recently purchased a 2019 Subaru Ascent Touring from Liberty Subaru (my second Subie purchased from them). The service was stellar, as I expected. Dan (Meola) checked up and checked in many times during the pre-order and sales process. My salesperson, Brian Goon was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and helped me configure exactly what *I* wanted in my Ascent (no easy task, since we were trying to assemble a pre-order before the accessories list was even finalized). When the car was finally delivered to Liberty Subaru, even before I signed the paperwork, Brian spent nearly an HOUR explaining EVERY button, knob, switch, setting, dial and readout inside and outside of the car. No, seriously, it was a 100° day, and we started on the outside, where he showed me how to remove and install the hitch cover, how the approach lighting and door lock/unlock sensors worked, where the cameras were, how to fold the 3rd row from the back, where the power was in the back, how the lift gate worked, etc, etc - in the brutal heat. We then moved on to the interior, where he explained everything on the inside from the simple stuff like how to operate the seats to the more complex stuff, like every setting in the Infotainment system, and the readouts on all three LCD displays. He then went through what every manual in the car was and pointed out the ones that were the most important (Eyesight, folks. READ THE EYESIGHT MANUALS), even though he'd already given me a crash course in everything in the manuals. Moving on from there, Tom in Finance finalized my financing - always a pleasure to deal with him!!! I had THREE order changes on my vehicle (I requested all of them) that affected financing, and Tom worked with me through every one of them! He helped me get the best rate and terms and found what *I* wanted for financing to make things work for me! By the time I'd left (after my first "off-road" trip onto their front lawn for a photo), Starlink was set up and done, they'd already cooled the car for me, and I felt comfortable with driving my new purchase!!! I'm tagging Ed Vogel in this as well - he was NOT my salesperson for this sale, but did help with some additional communications during the process and checked in with me to see how everything was going. Ed was my salesperson for my first Subie - a 2010 Subaru Outback. Ed and Brian are night and day in some respects. Ed is more laid back and quiet, while Brian is more enthusiastic and "excited". But, from there, it's all similarities... they both would only sell me exactly what I wanted. Neither of them ever pushed me to anything else or to buy anything I didn't want. Both of them answered every question with a ridiculous level of honesty that's rare to find in many car dealers. They both would answer questions and then wait for me to decide what I wanted. Different approaches, different people, but amazing experiences with both of them. Ed makes you feel comfortable and at ease while Brian feeds your excitement about your purchase - all while both of them provide stellar service in their own unique ways. You can't go wrong either way!!!

While shopping for a used, low-mileage Subaru Legacy I stopped in to Ramsey Subaru to test drive a 2014 2.5i Limited and a 2011 3.6R. One young sales associate took me on a test drive and was very knowledgeable and personable. I decided although I enjoyed the 3.6R's added horsepower, the fuel economy and super low-mileage on the 2.5i Limited made it a better value (not to mention the fact that it was also a CPO -- Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle. I was not set on the sticker price at the time, came in spoke to another sales associate and it didn't seem like they were willing to budge on it. I gave them my information and asked them to call me when the price came down. I went to several dealerships in the area to test drive other used Subaru Legacys and other comparable cars (Acura TL, Acura TLX, etc). After returning home the following weekend, I noticed that the car had dropped near $1900 on car gurus. It was Saturday night and I knew the dealership was closed on Sundays, but I called and e-mailed anyway. I told My sales consultant Dan Willis that I'm ready to put a deposit down on the 2014 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Limited that I had test drove the week before. He got back to me first thing Monday morning, I put down a $1000 deposit. The dealership was very patient with me as I wanted to get a couple of fixes done to my 2005 Subaru Legacy that I planned on giving my nephew for his 17th Birthday. When working out the numbers with the Finance Manager, Michael Pandolfelli, I was given a couple of interest rates for different finance terms, I told him that he absolutely has to continue to work and get me a lower rate. A day or two later he called me back with an excellent rate with my bank of choice! When I came in to pick up my new car and finalize the paperwork, I noticed the price had dropped AGAIN on the dealership website, when I asked him to honor the newly discounted price, Michael said he can do that for me. When discussing extra options like extended warranties, it was slightly over the monthly payment I had OK'd myself to spend. He asked me what that monthly payment would be (difference of $3 or $4 / month), he made that happen, as well. After signing off, Dan Willis the Sales Consultant, brought me to my immaculately clean new (used) car and gave me a full walk-through on all the features the car included: Power-Sun Roof, Hill Assist, Cruise Control, Heated Seats, Back-Up Camera, Stereo and many other features. He made sure he answered any questions that I had for him and was happy to drive home. These two made my buying experience a pleasure and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another vehicle from Ramsey Subaru in the future!

This is my second vehicle purchased from Vroom in the last 12 months, and I can't imagine ever buying a used car from a brick-and-mortar dealership again. Let me just start by saying I???m NOT someone who writes reviews, about anything. My experience at Ramsey Subaru however, with Kyri, has made me actually rethink my ???ahh who cares about a review, I got what I want??? mindset lol. So to start, I went there interested in seeing the new Subaru Ascent. We were welcomed by Kyri as we were looking around the vehicle. He didn???t bother us after that, just a friendly ???hello and welcome if you need help I???m Kyri??? kind of approach. We eventually approached him with some questions. He was more than open and very down to earth with me and my wife, as well as my mother whom were with me. And since he was so down to earth I feel I should be blunt about my review and honest. From the start I didn???t get the ???xxxxxxx salesman trying to push a car on me??? feeling I???ve gotten other places. this is my 7th car I???ve owned, my first Subaru. Ive owned Audi, Toyota, Mercedes, Mazda, & 2 BMW???s. He was very straight forward with a lot of his answers and didn???t mind that we of course, were trying to pinch some pennies (or more of course). He made numerous trips to his boss to talk over what we can do as far as getting the best for our money, as well as our trade in on our BMW which we were negative in equity! All in all a very great experience. I can go on and on but nobody is going to read that big of a review. In the end what???s important was we were all happy. And got what we wanted without feeling like the dealer still ???won??? lol. Very great experience and would recommend Kyri to family and friends anytime. Thank you Kyri from the Porter family!

The rear automatic braking system kills my love for this car. If the eyesight thinks you're going to hit something (a wall, another car, etc), it sounds a brief warning, then slams on the brakes. You might just be backing into or out of a steep driveway though. It scares the daylights out of you if you're not expecting it. Literally, the brakes will lock up. There is no instant kill switch for it, and it takes a while to turn it off while holding your finger on the button. I can't back into my own driveway without this thing slamming on the brakes unless I hold up traffic while pushing and holding a button to clear. It resets every time you put the car into reverse. I hate this "feature" so badly. I wish I could permanently disable it.

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

I am a car enthusiast! I spend way too much on cars ??? but I work 24/7 and it???s my only hobby. This review will be a bit on the long side, simply because I have so much to say about my experience with Vroom. My wife gets frustrated with me because I talk so often about how amazed I am with Vroom in every aspect! I bought my first car in 1968. Back then I couldn???t afford much, but since about 1979 I???ve purchased some very cool cars. I even bought a brand new Rolls Royce back in 1985. I???ve owned: exactly 10 Mercedes, Jaguar, Ferrari, Audi R8, BMW, Range Rover and several others. So when it comes to dealing with car dealerships, I feel like I???ve become rather expert ??? AND a huge skeptic of car dealerships!!! When you buy a high-end car, you lose SOOO MUCH money, as soon as you drive it off the showroom floor. So the last time we purchased cars, we decided to purchase nearly-new cars with very low mileage on them. We bought an Audi R8 and a Mercedes SL63. And it turned out GREAT. No regrets. So now it was time to sell those cars and buy two more. I happened across Vroom.com in my Internet search, and found the perfect cars for both my wife and I at the same place ??? Vroom.com. The cars are nearly identical to the same cars we???ve been driving, but just newer. A 2014 Audi R8 and a 2014 SL63 ??? both with about 3,500 miles on them. Even the same colors as our previous cars. I got bids from several companies to sell our cars to. Vroom offered the highest amounts on both of our cars!! And it was FAR easier to sell to them than any other company. Unbelievably simple! And the prices for the newer 2014 cars was extremely fair. I flew out from South Orange County, California to Vroom to look at and drive both cars. Vroom picked me up at the airport and brought me back to the airport. I was extremely impressed with Vroom and their showroom. And without exception, every single person I???ve spoken with and dealt with at Vroom has been not only helpful and enthusiastic, but GENUINELY concerned about making me happy. Even after the sale they keep contacting me to see how I???m doing and to ask if there???s anything that I need. They got me great financing! Less than 3% interest rate. I had no clue that you could do that with a ???used??? car. No other buying or trade-in experience I???ve ever had comes even close to how great, simple and fast this was. Oh???and they shipped the cars from Texas to us at NO CHARGE, and picked up our two cars at the same time. And the nice young man who delivered the cars was fabulous. He was so very, very careful with our cars. And not only do they have their guarantee ??? I believe you have a week or so to drive the car, and if you don???t like it, they will take the car back. They even told me several times (even after I???d purchased the cars) that if for some reason we decided we did not want the cars, they would come pick them up and truck them back to Texas at NO COST to use. Unbelievable!! Well, my wife is now also so impressed that she no longer is frustrated with me for talking about Vroom so much, and telling all my friends. In fact, I???ve already asked Vroom to look for a car for my daughter. I now would not think of getting her car anywhere else than Vroom. I mentioned before that I???m a skeptic when it comes to car salesmen and dealerships. So if I was you reading this, the first thing I???d wonder is, ???Why is this guy writing this review? Are they paying him???..???? Well, I don???t know any of the people at Vroom. I spent so much time on this review simply because I believe that when people deserve credit, and they treat you so nicely, you should reciprocate and sing their praises. My name is Dr. Rod Kurthy. I was referred to Ramsey Subaru by a co-worker. I actually let my co-worker do the formal introduction because I felt a bit intimated by my former automobile purchase experiences. At Ramsey Subaru, my Sales Consultant was Steve Rouhana and I cannot say enough great things about working with him. He demonstrated passion for his job, was attentive & kind and really helped me to get the color/make/model (2017 Crosstrek Premium - Desert Khaki) car I wanted and at the price that I could afford. Also, I worked with two additional & impressive people: Michael (Financing) and James (Auto Functionality Tech). At Ramsey Subaru, it's obvious that they are believers in this kind of specialization. One group of people (sales) demonstrates the car. Another group (sales managers) works out the sales price, trade-in values and calculate payments. A third group ties up the loose ends of a deal and does the final paperwork. It appears that they all work well together with their main mission 'to provide the best customer service expeirience'. Unbelievably effortless purchase with really super people!

What a pleasure! If you are as OCD as me and do your homework in researching a vehicle and its pricing as well as dealer reviews and you are looking for a Subaru, this is the place to go. First off, I have owned and/or currently owned Nissans, Toyotas, Jeep, Plymouth/Dodges, Acura, Suzuki (don't ever do that!), Hyundai, and Ford/Mercury's. In fact, I owned a 1976 Subaru box car (orange) to which the head gasket blew within 4 months of ownership, so I was a bit queasy trusting Subaru again. More and more research including articles from Consumer Reports, Edmunds, Cars, etc., all pointed to, for me, the Outback and so far, knock on wood, I am pretty confident that the decision I made was right. As to Bill Kolb, Jr., I had the pleasure of dealing with Holman Cano; professional, friendly, no-nonsense approach to which most of our conversations were by telephone or e-mail. I spent a total of maybe 2 hours at the dealership in two days. 1 night to see if the vehicle was right for me and getting to the price and financing again, right for me; and the other time was to go over the vehicle in detail. A++++ to you guys. Hope to deal with you again when my wife is in need of a car.

Looked at Volvo’s and the rest before deciding to buy a Subaru. The ride is noisy most of the time. So far, I get 28 mpg, so why buy the slow noisy 4cylinder? The traction system is called X-Drive and it works well in glare ice and deep snow. Dealer maintenance is outrageously expensive, charging $600 to replace 6 spark plugs. The. CVT causes this wagon to be slow even with the high output six cylinder. The cabin heating system needs to improve so that you don’t have to idle for 1/2 hour to get heat when it’s -10.

I've been buying and leasing cars for 10 years now and I have seen dealers in many different states, including north and south of the Mason Dixon line. I love cars, but I've never enjoyed a single second I ever spent in a dealership. Walking into Audi Hawthorne was like walking into a spaceship. Everything was clean, a salesperson (Aniello DeVita) saw me within 2 minutes of arrival on a Saturday. I knew what I was looking for, but I had a strict budget and a fiance who was very particular about the car we were getting. I test drove two vehicles by myself the first Saturday. Aniello and I emailed all week and found cars that fit my profile and scheduled the test drives. I showed up the following Saturday with my fiance and Aniello had three vehicles gassed up and ready for us to drive. We each drove the Audi S5, SQ5, and the S3. After we test drove them all, my fiance decided she wanted to try the S5 again and Aniello gladly obliged. We decided that the S3 was our best option for our budget and performance needs. I also had two months left on my GTI lease, which Audi Hawthorne helped close off and take in early. VW->Audi is a logical upgrade. Next came the options, and boy was that difficult. One of the main concerns was the sound system. After having custom audio in all my cars, I was a bit spoiled with sound quality. We tested out stock and upgraded audio system on various models, even blasting music on the dealership floor to make sure we liked it. No issues from anyone! They understand that when you're buying a $50k car, every little bit matters. Aniello and the General Manager, Nick Belli, worked hard with me to find vehicles that had the options that I wanted, and we found one.. Unfortunately, that dealership refused to ship the car over. Nick and Aniello knew how much I wanted the S3 on the showroom floor, and they made me an offer on it that I accepted. All in all, we exchanged a quick phone call and we had a pickup date. The car was in the bay ready for us, license plated and all. We had a quick chat with Paola in finance and purchased the additional AudiCare (you should really do this, highly recommended). Paperwork all signed in less than 20 minutes and we were ready to go. Chris Gelletich was really nice and helped walk my fiance around all the options of the car. Luckily, I already read the manual before even picking it up! He walked her through bluetooth, camera, GPS, options, etc. He was really nice to work with and will surely end up in sales soon! All in all, a truly fantastic experience at this dealership. I've been to quite a few and dealt with so many unprofessional sales people. Not once did I receive an unwanted phone call. Not once was anything pushed on to me. Not once did I feel like my request was too much. The coffee is delicious too, so I wouldn't mind waiting there for Service. Thanks Audi Hawthorne! Aniello, Nick, Paola, and Chris, you guys are stars!

I was in the market for a new car. I have always admired the Subaru WRX Sti in many ways. It is my dream car. However, at my age and current socio-economic background the purchase of such vehicle is ill advised. Nonetheless, I purchased the next best thing in relation to my current situation... a used 2016 Subaru Impreza 2.0i the hatchback (cuz you know... coolfactor x100). Background Before I even went to the dealership, I made various phone calls and obsessed research on different car models that would compliment my lifestyle. The recurring theme was All-Wheel drive, hatchback and manual. Truth be told, this was my first ever car purchase. My parents bought me a car for college many moons ago. It was a clunky SUV that survived 13 years of neglect and terrible care-taking on my part. It still survives to this day, but I shudder in fear every time I turn the ignition. Basically, it was time to retire the beast and take on a different adventure with another. The Sale As my research progressed, I stumbled upon a used 2016 Subaru Impreza hatchback. It was exactly what I wanted. I called Bill Kolb Jr Subaru to see if it were still available. I was put in touch with Howard in the process and we scheduled an appointment. Upon arrival, I was greeted as if I were family. Howard was the first desk on the right as soon as you walked in. Much like barbershops or salons, i had a feeling that 1st seat or first desk was reserved for the elite. I was not wrong. Howard projects an aura of self-esteem and confidence in his work that permeates in the air. His hairstyle was slicked back with the sides short. He wore a kind of horned rim glasses that shouted out Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and Hipster. This man has style, class and the demeanor of Victorian royalty. He was my kind of people. As mentioned before, this was my first time buying a car, and i was a complete NOOB in the whole process. Howard walked me through the entire course on what to expect and answered my questions without fail. He was very patient and diligently answered every stupid question I asked. Since it was a used car, Howard explained the background of the vehicle to me and he got me when he said "brand new engine." At that point, and at 30 mins of walking into the door and even before seeing the car ... i was ready to buy. This man was good at his job. When it was time to test drive the vehicle, I admitted to Howard that it had been awhile since I had the opportunity to drive manual car. He politely joked if he was in trouble. I answered a sincere YES, but he was still patient and even talked me through the whole ride. I was nervous, much like my road test in the Bronx at the age of 17. I thought Howard was going to fail me. I imagined him with a clipboard with only YES or NO on it. Nevertheless, I felt like I passed and was worthy of the car, which by the way, felt like a dream! It was compliant, safe and exceeded my expectations. The takeaway Howard wrestled with the paperwork with ease, I spoke to the finance department and came up with a reasonable outcome. I barely did anything. The entire process was as smooth as butter on a warm day. Howard did his thing, i made smart and annoying comments and our transaction was complete. The following day, I drove the car home after giving him my down-payment. No hassle, no gimmicks. I didn't have to haggle because I felt taken cared off with a great deal. In the future, when it is time to buy a new car, hopefully in another 13 years, i can only hope to see Howard there or another just like him. Howard is absolute professional and a master at his craft.

Why in the world did I give up my beautiful Benz for a Subaru Outback? Simple: The Outback is a great vehicle. From its good looks, great feel, quality interior materials, comfort AND reliability, Its multiple safety factors are another big plus, not only for me, but, for my family members, including grandsons who are clamoring for a chance to drive it. Also, I don't have to strain my back and legs sitting in the low designed MB E350, which I had enjoyed for many years. Getting in and out of the Outback does not pain my senior-citizened aging body. It's easy to get in, get out and very comfortable to sit in and drive. I love the design, all around. The trade in and sales process was painless. First, the sales person, Dan Rovelli was polite, personable, professional and knowledgable about the product. I submitted a request through the Liberty web site specifying what I wanted and within hours, he got back to me by email with the exact car (color inside and out) that I wanted equipped exactly the way I wanted. And, the price was the lowest I had gotten from other dealers. The trade-in given for my MB E350 was higher than the other dealers. I picked up the car and it was delivered within 24 hours of my first contact with the dealership. Dan stayed in touch with me by email to make sure I understood all the features of the vehicle and encouraged me to ask him any questions. I did, and he responded within an hour. If I can give Dan 6 stars instead of 5, I would. He is a true gentleman and was a delight to deal with.

I was referred to Texas Direct Auto/Vroom by a good friend and I???m glad I decided to go with them for my car purchase! I initially got Billie as my car sales personnel, but she seemed to be very pushy and just aiming to make quick sale; which is something that made me very uncomfortable. After speaking with her for a while I advised I would give her a call back to speak with my financial advisor on proceeding further on this process with Vroom. When I called back I got a different agent that saw in the system that saw I was talking to Billie and advised me that she would give me a call back in 5 mins, well 30 mins passed and I called back upset because I did not hear back from her after she ran my credit and didn???t like the fact I wasn???t trying to put 2500 down. My credit score was excellent I had a 740, but I didn???t have enough credit history she said is the reason why she kept asking me to put so much money down on 23k 24k car. The last time I called upset after not hearing anything from her a gentleman by the name of Shannon Humbles answered and I advised him that I did not want to work with Billie anymore because she made me feel very uncomfortable and I felt like she didn???t personally care about helping me through the process of the purchase. Shannon is an ALLSTAR!! He went over and beyond the call of duty to help me make this purchase!!! 7 days later my vehicle sits in my parking garage and I love it! The process was so easy to purchase, I had to put 1500 which is the standard, instead of 2800 that???s Billie was demanding that I put down! Please go with Vroom! I saw a couple bad reviews and I know every process has its flaws, but I???m here to tell you, they work! They are a very good company and I look forward to making another purchase with them for my girlfriend???s Christmas gift! Thanks Shannon and Vroom!!!!
