Dave and Debbie here??? We went to the Milwaukee Auto Show in February to look for a new car for Debbie. She liked her 2010 Honda CR-V and wanted something similar. In the end, she settled on a 2018 Acura RDX AWD base model -- a very similar car. Fast forward to July. We went to the local Milwaukee area dealer on the Fourth of July to see what they had. Three days later we were back for test drives. We bought from this dealer before and had had good experiences. Then we got their price. It seemed high, particularly since the 2019 RDXs hit the floor at the start of June. They said it was pretty much the best they could do. We got home and Dave hit the internet: Edmunds and TrueCar. We started getting offers within an hour or so, more on Sunday, and more on Monday. Some were good. The offer from Muller's Woodfield Acura was better than the others -- enough to make the difference. Danielle Smith and Dave started talking on Monday. She answered all of his questions and made it easy. Having never bought a car out of state and being an engineer, he had many. She even wrote up a sales form he could use with the local dealer (we worked with them first and wanted to give them a final shot). A quick call later, the local dealer's best-they-could-do price suddenly dropped $850, but they would go no lower. They figured we weren't willing to drive to Illinois to save nearly $400. Apparently few of their customers do. For us, $400 is most of a car payment and enough for four or five nights out. Our local dealer also cautioned us about all of the bad experiences customers can have out of state. That same evening, we drove to Muller's Woodfield Acura in Hoffman Estates. We arrived at 7:30 and were out at 9:00. Easiest experience we ever had. Barb took our information to get the paperwork started. Then it was off to the car to check it out and a test drive. Everything was EXACTLY as represented. Same model, same trim, same VIN number and same mileage (12) as quoted. Shortly after, we were filling in blanks and signing here, here and here with Myles. They even took our personal check for the down payment. Then Barb helped us set the car settings and we were on our way. Easy peasy and a quick drive back to Milwaukee and bed. We've had the car a few days now and we made the right choice. The people we worked with followed up to make sure everything's still good. It is. Dave even had a nice email conversation with Scott Muller (his name's on the building). Takeaways: - Woodfield Acura offered a good price and value. We'd happily buy from them again. - Woodfield Acura is big. They have two lots and maybe hundreds of cars (easily at least three times the size of our local dealer). - This is the quickest car purchase we've ever made. In and out in 90 minutes with the car. - Barb, Danielle and Myles were easy to work with and we had a great experience. We imagine the rest of Woodfield's staff is, too. - The internet is a valuable tool for car shopping. Myles said they sell most of their cars via the internet. - The phone and internet are valuable tools for negotiating. We haven't negotiated in person since 2004. - We had to drive a bit to get the price we wanted. It was worth it for us. - Should we ever have any issues under warranty, we'll hit our local dealer. They'll still happily take that business and Woodfield is just too far away for that. Dave and Debbie BTW: Regarding the Finance Manager's work in the question below, we already had all the numbers before we even stepped in the door, courtesy of Danielle. We also knew we didn't want any vehicle maintenance or protection products. Myles' review of all that was essentially a reprise with no pushiness because we were already set. And that's a good thing.

To whom it may Concern, I bought my Honda 18 years ago, have used maintenance from Barrington Motors in the past. I have used maintenance closer to me and have only replaced batteries and brakes with original Honda parts. I have kept it in pristine condition and one morning in my garage my radio/CD player would not work without a code to restart it. This was after 18 years and no one could help because when I bought it from you no code was given to me. I had a letter from Honda saying that delivery of my manual was late. With Extraordinary help from Rich Cano he was able to get a code to restart my radio/CD player without having to take the radio out. This car is unbelievably practical, well made and good looking. It has great gas mileage and is extremely reliable. I have never had ANY issues with it. I once went on a ski road trip with 4 of my friends and we all fit comfortably with all of our ski gear in the back & skis on top! I am so sad to say goodbye to it. I am only selling it because I am graduating Medical School and starting residency in NYC in June.

It all starts with my purchased back in 2006 from then Salesman Ryan Drouin, now General Manager. He gave me an incredible deal back in '06 on my Outback XT. That had me contacting him for my 2015 Outback. Sadly he could not find me one. But he was the first call I made when I was trading that '15 in for a new 2018 Outback Premium. Enter Kiril Velkov. I kinda knew that Ryan, being now General Manager, would be in an overseeing capacity rather than a hands on salesman. When my schedule allowed for me to travel the 300 miles to visit the dealership I jumped at the chance to show off my very nice 2015 and to reacquaint myself with Ryan after 12 long years. They would evaluate my trade and also I could drive the newest model of Outback. Little did I know I would meet another terrific salesman in Kiril. He and I hit it off swapping stories of our own Subaru history and trips made. Two guys with a passion for the mark of Subaru sharing with one another our history. Awesome. Kiril worked tirelessly, and I do mean to use that word, as he kept in constant contact with me to make sure the deal was good enough and that the plans of making the trade were firm and settled before I made the next trip up 300 miles to Bensenville to do the trade. He made it a "business marriage", and I accepted the terms before I even gassed up my '15 to make the trip. Everything was easy that day...from Kiril making me feel at home, to getting the needed finance and paperwork completed and accurate. Kiril was a one stop, ALL questions answered, complete fulfillment of all of my wants and wishes. In short, it was a no-brainer. Kiril made it easy, made it painless, made it not like other dealerships I've been to. The team of Ryan & Kiril will continue to be my "go to" place for Subaru's. In fact, my wife will be purchasing a new 2019 Forester coming up this Fall 2018. Guess who I'm gonna call...? If I could have more than 5 stars they'd all get more..!!

We searched high and low for the perfect used vehicle for our son (and us) - well maintained, safe, great mileage, very reasonably priced, and gorgeous. After many weeks, we finally found that unicorn at Grand Subaru! The hitch? It was 500 miles away from our home in TN. Our apprehension was very real. There was so much risk for something to go wrong. The save? Grand Subaru's incredible sales savant, Joe Lewicki! Joe quickly built genuine rapport with us-he's clearly experienced, highly knowledgeable, attentive, efficient, thorough, transparent and friendly. He physically walked through the lot to ensure the vehicle was in stock and was very patient as I asked about the features while he examined for me and described them clearly. He was very open and accommodating to my request to place a small deposit and to have it independently inspected. He was timely and gracious to my mechanic, allowing a thorough inspection. The vehicle checked out to be our dream on wheels! Joe promised that the car would be extra spiffy to delight our son when he laid eyes on it - and he delivered! We made the long haul to Chicago and the onsite transaction couldn't have been more swift and satisfying. The car handled beautifully, solidly. The general manager, Ryan Drouin, greeted us warmly shortly upon arrival. The business manager, Brandon Metz, was thorough, concise and very personable. After everything was wrapped up in short order, Joe even provided contact info for a few great options to pick up a deep dish pizza on our trek back! Grand Subaru is a top notch operation that excels in offering the trifecta of exceptional people, products and processes. While everyone we interacted with was sincerely outstanding, Joe holds a special place for us. Ask for him. From first hand experience, he's a gold standard.

The rear automatic braking system kills my love for this car. If the eyesight thinks you're going to hit something (a wall, another car, etc), it sounds a brief warning, then slams on the brakes. You might just be backing into or out of a steep driveway though. It scares the daylights out of you if you're not expecting it. Literally, the brakes will lock up. There is no instant kill switch for it, and it takes a while to turn it off while holding your finger on the button. I can't back into my own driveway without this thing slamming on the brakes unless I hold up traffic while pushing and holding a button to clear. It resets every time you put the car into reverse. I hate this "feature" so badly. I wish I could permanently disable it.

In the area to visit family and needed to replace our grandson's hazardous vehicle with something reliable and economical. After extensive online research we visited Premium and found the perfect car...a 2003 Chevy Impala with low mileage and in excellent condition. I bought this car because I was looking for a 4wd that could tow at least 3000 lbs if needed. I’ve owned this car for approx three years and I use it to drive to work and up to visit my friends in Maine. It is extremely reliable with loads of interior room for all transport needs. Purchased a new WRX from another dealer and was having alignment issues from the get-go. Went back to that dealer to get an alignment under warranty -- only to notice the alignment was never really corrected properly 100 miles later. Decided to go to Brilliance Subaru for two reasons: 1) MUCH closer to home and 2) We purchased a Forester from them very recently and was impressed by not only the sales/financing staff, but also the punctuality & quality of work from the service team's pre-delivery inspection (couldn't say the same about the dealer I purchased the WRX from...). This gave me a good idea of the kind of work they do and made me more confident in Brilliance. Brought the vehicle in on an appointment for the alignment and had a pleasant, professional interaction with Adam Mennella - got checked in and was told it'd be an hour or so. Enjoyed a few cups of water, perused the vehicles on the lot, chatted with Phil Liang (who we purchased the Forester from), and was out of there in under 45 minutes! Alignment was now how it SHOULD'VE been in the beginning and I even got a print out of the pre- and post-alignment numbers (had to poke and prod at the other dealer to get a copy). Went off on my day with a quick turn-around time, complementary car wash, and even more confidence in Brilliance Subaru's service team. I will be returning to Brilliance for the foreseeable future for all my service needs!

I told him I???ll compare prices and services from other dealership before I make my decision. Within 2 week period I visited 3 dealerships talked several sales team but no one was as kind, knowledgeable and patient as Jeff calling him with different questions and being available when I needed him Jeff helped me through the whole process from choosing the right SUV for my children to what I color I wanted to financing it. Highly satisfied with my experience purchasing my Jeep Wrangler from Liberty. Chris Acker is a phenomenal sales associate. I found the Jeep I wanted in Jeep's inventory and it was "in transit" to Liberty and I knew it was the only one of its kind within a 100-mile radius. It had everything I wanted (and then some). If I didn't get this one, it was either go with my second choice, or order a 2019 and wait. Chris knew this, and he could have taken advantage of that situation and gouged me. So I was taking a risk going all that way for a bad experience. Chris assured me the Jeep I had my eyes on was definitely available and we briefly negotiated by phone. I was already comfortable with him and hadn't met him yet. Once I arrived the next day, he went above and beyond. Offered me very up-front pricing, a fair deal on my trade, and even though the Jeep had not yet arrived from the truck yet, he kept me in the loop and texted me right when the truck pulled in the next day. I picked it up this morning and it is beyond perfect. The finance manager was great as well. I am so happy with my Jeep and would recommend Liberty and Chris Acker!

Car shopping is not fun, but it's a lot better when the experience is made better by kind salesmen. My car was totaled several weeks ago and I was getting increasingly annoyed about how hard it was to find a new (to me) car. After calling multiple dealerships and not getting calls or emails back, setting up test drives and arriving from 50 miles away to find that cars aren't actually available or not pulled up like they said, I finally found Chris at Cars R Us. I called from about 30 minutes out and said I was interested in the 2015 Chevy Sonic posted online and he immediately said he'd have it pulled out for us to test. For once, this was actually true when someone said it! It was a good start, especially considering their lot is small and crowded and it would have been annoying if we had to wait for it to be pulled out. The test drive went great, he was extremely informative and genuinely easy to interact with (not always easy to say about salesmen). When we did an inspection of the vehicle we found that it was missing a spare tire, which he offered to have one put in without me even having to ask. I was really interested in purchasing the car, but found that the touch screen radio was having issues and actually had been recalled for that specific vehicle. He personally took it to the dealership to have it replaced before we officially purchased. While the process was a little slow from start to finish considering I didn't have a vehicle in the meantime (two weeks total, one week waiting on this car) it was totally okay since Chris was such a pleasant person to work with. He answered all of my questions, listened to my concerns, and even wrote on the paperwork that if I drove the car home and found something I didn't like he wouldn't push the final sale through. I found him to be very honest and really appreciate the attention he gave to my situation. Thanks Chris, and thanks Cars R Us. Great employees really do make a difference.

This car has symmetrical AWD, and where I live we absolutely need AWD and 4WD vehicles. A choice of good tires will also make a big difference in the way the car will perform. I have never been disappointed in the power of the car. I have the 2.5l engine. With the satellite XM radio, AM/FM radio and 6 CD Disc audio system, heated seats and moon roof, this car is a pleasure to drive. We have gotten an average of 29 mpg on the highway. I love how easy it is to put things into the back of the car. The tailgate comes right down to the bumper, so your not lifting tings up over a lip or obstruction to get things into the car . Even though I transport family in the car, it would be a great traveling salesman's car if equipped nicely because of the roominess of the car, hands-free phone, audio system and its surefootedness.

Our sales rep Mike was a pleasure to work with to get us the right car and the right deal - knowledgeable, polite, professional. He volunteered to pick up the title from our home so we wouldn't have to make drive it back to the dealer with it - that's really personal service- and he arrived at our house exactly when he said he would. Paperwork was handled professionally and efficiently. The dealership facility is clean, comfortable, friendly, we got a very good feeling there. We're animal lovers and were delighted that the dealer was generously sponsoring a community pet event that day. I was there with my family and we were treated well! I have to autistic 5yr old twin girls and we didn't feel anxious or awkward while we were there. The kids play area was nice although my kids weren't very interested. The manager Fred was very nice and helpful. They worked out a great deal for our new family vehicle. I recommend this dealership to anyone, but especially to families who have special needs kids. With the worries of feeling out of place it's nice to go to a place and not get the awkward stares.

Very easy to purchase, the entire thing happened over email and the papers were signed via overnight FedEx. Less than 1 week later, the car was in my driveway. It does take longer than a traditional dealer, but you don't have to sit there for hours while the paperwork and financing takes place. The car came in immaculate condition, no paint chips, no scratches. Interior was perfectly detailed and cleaned. Good price, low mileage, clean history report.

I became familiar with Oak Lawn Toyota last December when my daughter purchased my 16 year old grandson his first car in December 2015. She raved about the excellent customer service she received from John Beris. She said he was knowledgeable, honest, efficient, professional and he had provided the best customer service she had ever received. She said, John realized the magnitude of the moment for her buying a car for her son and even took a picture with my grandson handing him his first set of car keys to his "2004 Toyota Corolla S". I heard about Oak Lawn Toyota a second time, when my daughter was in the market for a new truck in May of 2016. Because of the excellent customer service she had previously received, she went back to Oak Lawn Toyota. She said it was like dealing with a member of the family. He took great care of her, and again was the ultimate professional and provided phenomenal customer service. My daughter left very happy in her "2015 Toyota Rav 4". So it was only right when I was in need of a new car this month (August 2016), I immediately called my daughter up and asked her if she could take me to Oak lawn Toyota. She stopped at Oak Lawn Toyota and told John she would be coming back with her mother and when we arrived John met us at the door. He was extremely nice to me. While we were there on Saturday the power went out and it wasn't expected to be back on before close of business so John said we would have to come back to finish the process on Monday. He called my daughter on Monday, just like he said he would and when we arrived back at the dealership, John was ready to service us immediately. And because my daughter bought a car for her son, herself, and now I (her mother) was buying a car (3 cars in less then a year), they put a remote starter on my car at no charge! My newly purchased car would not be able to be serviced to add the remote start until the following Monday. Rob came to my house on Sunday, picked up my car and left me a loaner car (a 2017 Toyota Camry), drove my car back to Oak Lawn Toyota on Monday, had the remote starter put on my car and drove it back to my house Monday night. I am sure he was exhausted from work, but he took the time to show me how to work the remote starter, made sure I understood and then he took the loaner car back to Oak Lawn Toyota for me...talk about OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! It doesn't get better than that. Thank you Oak Lawn Toyota for treating us like family...my grandson, my daughter and I will be forever appreciative of your kindness.

I only had it three weeks. I bought a super clean ,low mileage Outback. I like it a little better than my '06 Outback XT turbo that I had for seven years. I think the 3.6 has the same power or more than my old turbo XT. Although the XT was a good car until the turbo went and took the engine with it. The Outback grips the road in winter weather. With the right tires, don't worry about a snowstorm. The CVT transmission I am getting used to. Some people might not notice the CVT because it shifts like a conventional automatic, just a little different. I think the 3.6 six cylinder is the way to go if you want more power than the 4 cyl. The Outback Limited has a nice body style and options. It has a comfortable and solid ride. I buy Subaru's like I'm buying a tool. It's the right tool for the job for me for where I live. The Subaru all wheel drive is the best for your money, all wheel drive all weather car.
