Got a '22 Touring XT. I knew the base engine was pathetic so I wanted the turbo. Gladly sacrifice some MPG for way more power. They shouldn't even offer the base engine on this car. Anyway, after 44k miles it's running like a champ. Absolutely no issues with the electronics (a few minor glitches here and there but nothing to take to the dealer for), CVT is fine, engine is fine, the AWD is second to none! Plowed right through a 15" blizzard through Kansas City like it was nothing. My biggest gripe are the squeaks and rattles. Highly annoying. My '17 Chevy Colorado with 64k miles is tighter and quieter. Cargo space is top notch, I have a bad back so getting in and out of a taller vehicle is much easier. But there is just too much tech and driver assistance, Subaru needs to tone it down a little. I still prefer to actually DRIVE my car, not have the car drive me. Overall I'm still happy with it.

I had made the mistake of scheduling a service appointment at the Salisbury dealership but my appointment was at the Lexington dealership what a blessing it was they waited on me which they didn’t have to so glad they did they saw something the needed attention and took care of it I could go on and on but I want just saying they treated me better than I expected I will drive further to go there even if the other ones are closer

Slower than molasses in January if you don't get the turbo. But a reliable wagon that's absolutely awesome for parents. Plus, you can make up for the lack of speed by just running over stuff thanks to the ground clearance.

Would highly recommend purchasing a Toyota at Greensboro Toyota because of the sales person - Sam LaFrance. She is a great person - Highly Recommend.

The acceleration lag that this car has is immediately outweighed by everything else. This car is super smooth and granny sedan comfy, and it has more utility than any equally priced SUV. The roof rails have built-in cross bars that stow, it tows 3500 pounds, and the Harmon-Kardon sound system kicks. It has butt fans, people. Additionally, the aftermarket base is thick, so accessories, customization, and reflashing options abound. The tech is old, the powertrain is old, but you see 300 of them a day for a reason.

This is a great car. Rides good and has all the bells and whistles. Clean interior. I especially love the heated seats and outside temperature along with gas mileage shown. Love this car.

I’ve owned this car for about 18 months. It has I bought it new and it now has about 17,000 miles on it. I love driving it. The safety features are excellent! The performance is good. I’m getting around 32 MPG for all around driving. I have the car maintained at the dealership and haven’t had any mechanical issues. I would definitely recommend this car.

Turn signals do not have a loud sound. They are very low My 2016 Outback has nice loud turn signals. You cannot turn your radio off. The only way not to hear it is to put the sound real low. Two major complaints I have

I bought my Subaru in 2023 because it only had 60,000 miles on the OD. It's the minimal 2.5X model, but I couldn't pass up the car at such a low price. After driving it for over a year, I put only 6000 miles on it. I took it to the Subaru dealer for NY state inspection, and had the brakes replaced, and paid for the 60000 mi Subaru recommended service. I love this car, especially since I can connect my iPod to the blue tooth and play my music library. It is a bit noisy on the highway, but it's not the luxury model, so that's expected. The Subaru dealer said everything on the car was real solid. So far it has been very dependable, and easy to drive in the snow. It has no leaks, no dents, no squeaks, no problems. I've owned and driven 8 Subaru's over the past 40 years, and I'm hoping to keep my 2013 model and drive it for at least another 10 years.

This is my third Subaru Forrester. I like the newer safety features and ease of handling. The size is perfect for me, not too small or too big! I would recommend if you’re looking for a midsize vehicle.

We were a little leary of dealerships and in the past feeling intimidated bad uncaring salespeople who treat you like your a number. We decided to go to Capital Chevrolet in Lexington as my friend had told me, her saleslady who's she's bought from for years had started working there, she has great reviews, credentials and Kim even showed us the commercials where she had been on TV and the internet. We pull up and to our suprise we are greeted with the warmest smile and welcome from the exact person we went to see, Trisha Hulin! I've never felt more welcomed at a dealership as I did that day. Immediately all of my fears melted away, without her speaking a word I knew we were in good hands and she was everything Kim said she was. She greeted us with a smile, opened our doors and even helped me get my elderly mother inside and seated. She Immediately ask if we'd like a beverage or a snack, it was like visiting family, we were treated like royalty and we felt important and appreciated. I had some credit struggles and was nervous about it but Trisha assured me that she would take care of us and indeed she did. She worked with such grace ,integrity and honesty every step of the way, she was dressed and carried herself very professionally, you knew she genuinely cared and was there to help us and guide us in the right direction. That lifted such a heavy weight off of my shoulders. Just knowing she was doing everything she could for us was such a blessing, I can see why she's highly recommended and everyone raves about her. She worked hard and diligently but, she got us approved for the vehicle that we wanted, me and mom were ecstatic. I admire her so much, for her love of helping others and with a smile on her face every step of the way. She has the sweetest spirit, very positive, she's beautiful and she went above and beyond to take care of us. I can never thank her enough for all of her hard work and determination. I also saw several of her new coworkers asking her for help and guidance and she didn't hesitate for one minute to lend a helping hand, this just isn't something you typically see at a dealership, she spoke highly of everyone, not one negative word from her even though we heard one of the managers make a rude comment towards her, that did leave a bitter taste in my mouth, but Trisha just smiled and kept moving. I have no doubt that there is challenging days for her, but her determination is that that I've never seen before in my 60 years. She took such great care of mom and I, and we are happy with our new Equinox, she took care of us from the very beginning and still calls to check in on us truly exceptional customer service and truly the best experience I've ever had. I purchased the 2023 Wilderness trim in August and I chose it because I live in a very snowy and mountainous area. I certainly needed an upgrade from my trusty 2wd, low-clearance hatchback. I can watch the season change with more peace of mind with its high clearance, AWD and features like Starlink and X-mode ready to step in when called upon. I’m a huge fan of the vehicle’s exterior styling and the interior feels luxurious and durable. The cabin is well-insulated from engine and road noise. One drawback is that the sound system lacks depth even with the base turned all the way up (I don’t have the Harmon Kardon stereo option). I’ve never owned a car with a sunroof before and I love letting in extra daylight and looking up at the cliffs and trees during stops so I can’t imagine life without it, now. Even the low beam headlights provide clear-as-day visibility on the darkest nights, but I’d be worried about blinding other drivers so I’d give more follow distance. Many reviewers seem dissatisfied with its acceleration, but it hasn’t felt underpowered to me and I drive a Chevy Suburban for work. It feels like I’m barely touching the accelerator to cruise up steep grades, but I’m a leisurely driver so my expectations differ. :)

Great value considering the superior safety features, low maintenance and reliability. Rear wheel bearings have been replaced twice and just had the AC compressor and serpentine belt replaced. Albeit expensive repairs, all cars need something after the first 3 years. It's been 8 years and the car still run and drives like new.

2023 Subaru Outback Limited XT. A great station wagon (it’s not really a SUV). Comfortable leather seats, smooth ride and extremely quick with the turbo. If you don’t need seating for eight, you have no need for the Ascent. Same engine and cargo capacity and ground clearance, lower to the ground, faster, better handling and several thousand dollars cheaper. Standard all wheel drive. Full safety suite. 11.6” infotainment system is really closer to 8” as the climate control takes the additional 3.6”. The Harmon Kardon sound system will blow your doors off. Good in car navigation. Wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Hands free tailgate. 0-60 in 5.8 on regular gas. Standard roof rails. Even has heated outboard rear seats. If you’re considering a midsize or smaller SUV you owe it to yourself to drive this first.

I fell in love with the Wilderness Trim from the very first time i saw it. I had a 2017 Outback Limited and loved it too. Had a co-worker who really needed a reliable, well taken care of SUV. I told her I will sell it to her. With the money i got Wilderness. Best decision ever. Has that little extra ground clearance and details that makes this car so unique. Yes the screen is large and has a lot on it, but after a while got used to it. If the Outback was my dream car, This Wilderness is beyond my dreams! The Turbo is great, gives that extra +80HP compared to my Outback and it's noticeable specially when using paddle shifters. Hope i can keep this one for many many years.

I purchased this as a commuter car, but ended up taking it on long trips with the family. Currently has 65k miles. Interior is comfortable, the leather seats are easy to maintain. The infotainment system is great and easy to navigate. The only issue I had with it was the power lift gate. It was under warranty, so no big deal - but it would’ve been expensive had it not been. This is a great car for a family with small kids. The only reason I’m got rid of it is because my kids are growing and we needed something bigger. Routinely hit 23 not on highway. It’s got some pep, but you’re not buying it for sports car experience. AWD does very well off road and in snow. The exterior plastics are somewhat cheap and occasionally need to be set back in place. Otherwise, no mechanical issues and drives like the day I brought it. I’d recommend highly.

The 2016 Subaru Outback is the first car I'd ever bought brand new, and I haven't been disappointed since it was purchased 7 years ago. It's very reliable, fun to drive, easy on gas, easy on maintenance and easy on the eyes. Will do it all over again when I make my next Subaru purchase!

So I bought a ‘21 Outback premium with 30k miles and have already put 6K more on it. Here is my honest review: if you want a fast car don’t get the 2.5 non turbo- that being said it is adequate for myself and get great gas mileage. The interior is good- I have the spec with cloth heated seats and they are comfortable and the cabin feels nice- has some cheap parts but I knew what I was buying. The infotainment is frustrating at times- auto start stop is a pain in the butt- but the infotainment itself isn’t bad with good sound and good responsiveness. The apple CarPlay will lag and be finicky at times but nothing terrible. As for drive quality it is a smooth ride and I don’t have any real complaints yet. Like I had mentioned if you want a car that is going to be fast- this engine and transmission will not do that for you. Overall I am happy so far with my purchase and feel as though I made a sensible decision when choosing this over some of its competition (I was looking at the VW Tiguan and and Mazda cx5)

I've never owned a Subaru before but after purchasing the Forester, I may never own anything but a Subaru again! I love the Eyesight Drivers Assistant that it came equipped with. I can see why this car has one of the best safety ratings out there. The interior is very open, spacious, & comfortable and the panoramic sunroof is amazing! It drives and handles like a dream. I would recommend this car to anyone. You won't be disappointed!

a very good car that we kept for 5 years and sold at 64K miles. Bought an other Subaru Outback, 2025 model, but with the turbo enginr as I found the 2.4l engine a little sluggish.
