Shottenkirk Toyota of Quincy review
Bought a used Toyota from this dealership. Great experience from start to finish. From the first call being greeted by a friendly receptionist, to the multiple sales people that helped me with my deal, to the finance department, it was top notch. I have bought cars from several different dealerships in the past and this has been the best experience of them all.
2015 Toyota Avalon review
This is the fifth Toyota, the third Avalon I have purchased and have never been sorry with any one of them. Each purchase was at a different Toyota dealership and at each the excellent service and effort to please has been excellent.

My experience with Valya Panos Will keep me coming back over and over she was amazing… She’s definitely a keeper! Everything was smooth, fast and efficient! She tailored to your needs desires and once absolutely am thrilled and happy that I got to have a sales person. That’s great as she was! Keep up the good work, Val.
2019 Toyota Avalon review
Great car but my 2019 Toyota Avalon Hybrid Limited got 42.4 mpg when new but only gets 35 mpg now. I'm 75 y/o and drive the speed limit always. Average 35 to 40 miles per hour. Does anyone know why. Dealer is no help answering this question.

2015 Toyota Avalon review
This car is great. plenty of leg room and comfort for me and by passengers. 3 car seats fit comfortably in the back seat. The trunk is large and very good for strollers and my groceries. For a car it is prefect for my husband and myself with 3 grandkids. I love that it is not to big and the car handles easy. smooth ride.

We bought a Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid. An excellent and safe car. The sales person, Barb was very professional and patient. She and her coworkers who were helping us to choose the right car for us, were wonderful. I highly recommend this dealer.
2018 Toyota Avalon review
We always buy Toyota for low maintenance and reliability. We just purchased a 3rd used for our daughter. We are overall very pleased...3 issues. 1. Toyota Entune - the BlueTooth media system is lousy and impossible to operate. Very disappointed with that. The front seat could be more spacious, and when the rear heater is in use, the middle console gets very hot. Overall, however, for comfort and dependability, we love this car.

2020 Toyota Avalon review
I have the sportier 2020 TRD and this is a flawless car (purchased a dealer car in '21 with 8k miles - I can prob sell it for nearly what I paid for it 4 years later). Roomy.. powerful relative to the price.. gas mileage is shocking.. routinely shows 31mpg on longer drives.. JBL sounds system.. People always asking me about it because of the TRD package. Looks great, drives great, Toyota reliability.. And now that they stopped making it, it's holding its value. If anyone wants a bullet proof car with a world class v-6 and a performance tune.. this is your car.

Was very pleased with my experience here. They did not pressure me into buying a car and welcomed an inspection from my friend who is a mechanic. They stand by what they sell and they said if anything goes wrong with the car to bring it back and they will help to take care of it. Overall, they are very fair and honestly way nicer than what most car dealers are like and/or have the reputation of being. Once it is time for a new car I will definitely check Road Runner out first

The AVALON LIMITED is an extremely reliable and comfortable sedan offering many extras, including leather seats, sunroof/moonroof, dual climate system, 3 different driving modes; ECO/Normal/Sport, and much more. We drove this car for 10 years and didn't have a lick of trouble with engine or any serious defects. Just complete all mfr suggested maintenance and this car will keep you rolling in style!

2019 Toyota Avalon review
This the 2nd avalon limited I have owned and I bought both "newly" used because of the low Miles and cost advantages. I have absolutely loved my 2019 Avalon Limited, it gets great gas mileage for a big roomy and comfortable vehicle, and came equipped with a lot of bells and whistles normally found on premium luxury cars. In my opinion, this car is by far a better "Value" than the Lexus ES models, yes, you can get the same features on the Lexus as you will find on the upper-end Avalons, but it gonna cost you a lot more. In making a decision to discontinue the Avalon line, Toyota has made a conscious decision to force those of us who love the Avalon to look at the Lexus ES 350 line in the future. So, it's gonna cost me more in the future to maintain the comfort level found on the Avalon. But, remember, Toyota owns both Lexus and Toyota.

Smart Toyota review
I had the pleasure of working with Nick S. He was very personal, and did a wonderful job finding the perfect vehicle for our growing family.
2019 Toyota Avalon review
I own a loaded 2019 touring that was purchased new from a dealership, here are some of my thought after nearly three years of ownership. The Avalon is exceptionally comfortable; A notable example is the seats which are wonderful supportive, and well bolstered. Design-wise the Avalon is modern and interesting from (almost) every angle, inside and out. The Avalon’s interior is well-designed with soft touch materials on all surfaces you’ll regularly touch. Upscale materials like aluminum mesh span the dash while perforated fabric and plush leatherette line everywhere else. The center console stack is ergonomic with physical buttons for everything: Excessive piano black plastic here is my only minor gripe. On the exterior, Avalon’s headlights are aggressively sculpted with daytime running lights that are distinctive. A futuristic, swoopy taillight features a lightbar-esk design that’s unlike anything else around. To address the massive, grill shaped, elephant in the room… The sophisticated exterior design of the car is marred by the immoderately large grill. Genuinely, my only issue with the car’s design anywhere is the grill: It’s frustrating that the grill is the ONLY, albeit massive, issue. The black mesh on touring trims is somewhat better looking as compared with the limited trim but it still shows it’s size from front views. Now moving on to thoughts on performance. I’ll be blunt, the Avalon is not sporty by any measure other than it’s looks; however, is speed what you really need? I personally brought the Avalon to have a comfortable, quiet, and reliable commuter car: this car is just that. I think that middling performance is an acceptable trade off for a creamy-smooth v6 engine that’s not needlessly loud anywhere along the rev range, and that is proven to outlast nearly everything else on the road. When it comes to value, it’s a tough sell for the higher trims (limited and touring). If you want a sporty large sedan, the charger or accord sport turbo is a better sports car; If you want a reliable and luxurious large sedan then the lexus es carries the lexus name for only a couple thousand more. I think the Avalon fills a niche for people who want more space, luxury, and style than something like the Camry, and don’t want to spend luxury car money on a well-equipped lexus es. Final thoughts: The Avalon is definitely not for everyone with it’s *ahem* “distinctive” styling but Avalon is the perfect balance of everything important to me in a car: Reliability, comfort, modern styling. If I total my car tomorrow, I’d probably buy another Avalon; though probably the xle trim the next time around.

2006 Toyota Avalon review
I purchased a 2006 brand new. I fell in love with it. Everything was perfect until now. I haven't been able to drive for a couple of years so it stays parked. I learned that if you don't put some use to it and just keep it parked, you will discover problems which are more my fault. I never had any problems until I got sick and stopped driving. I refuse to let my car go because I plan to drive again and it's the most reliable, quiet and comfortable ride. When I would give others a ride, they loved it! I'm just annoyed that toyota doesn't make that style anymore. The space, reliability and comfort is amazing!!!

Fort's Toyota of Pekin review
Dustin Taylor was very laidback not pushy and for that reason I’d do my business here again! Very nice gentleman! Clean dealership too! All around good experience!
2015 Toyota Avalon review
I have a 2015 Avalon XLE Premium in their cosmic grey mica color, from a distance the color looks black, up close it looks metallic navy blue. I bought mine with 44 thousand miles on it. The low profile tires ride firmer than say a 2005 Avalon with more space for air to inflate in the tires. It rides firmer than I expected an Avalon to feel. The stock speaker system offers mild volume without much bass to feel or hear, which surprised me because I very much expected the factory stereo to be of luxury quality. I really like the feel of the 6 speed transmission. Im thankful its not one of those CVT transmissions that always seem to feel like theyre in the wrong gear, this car shifts just the way you would hope for. It has plenty of power and really good gas mileage for such a large and roomy car. The interior layout is comfortable. Its programmable rolling garage door buttons on the mirror free up the visors from bulky garage door openers. There is a lot of depth in the black felt lined center armrest console. The console lid in my Avalon is starting to fray, Toyota doesnt sell the specific matching color console cover synthetic leather to cover the armrest. They feel justified in selling the entire console for over 530 dollars without including the tax plus shipping plus an installation fee you would need to negotiate on your own. To match the armrest when its cover material cracks you are to pay a minimum of 700 dollars or more just to replace the armrest cover to match the material and color of the cupholder. Not reasonable. The blindspot sensor signal light and subtle beeping in the side mirrors are convenient, I ended up appreciating them more than I thought I would. A common complaint is the rear window leak, looking into it I noticed the other day that there is a water stain on my light tan interior headliner fabric on the driver side of my headliner above the backseat. Since this car is only 5 years old and the rubber weatherstripping is already biodegrading, this will become a consistent issue with the rubber molding throughout this car. I really dont sense much performance change when the sport button is engaged. The traction control feature stays on each time you start the car, I havent felt any difference in driving/handling it whether it is on or off. The feel of the interior leather is nice, to ensure the health of it I replaced the seat foam in the driver seat to maintain the tension of the leather. The new OEM Toyota foam seat cushion was thin, it really should have been manufactured in inch or so thicker in overall diameter. Some faint black cracking can be seen on the side wing of the driver seat from a previous owner sliding out of the seat instead of standing up like a healthy adult to exit the car. The ground clearance of this car is low, it enhances the look of the low profile tires on their 18 inch rims. Im going to try adding kyb Exel-G struts that I have ordered today to improve the spring in the front end, again it rides firm especially over potholes. The bumper looks sharp yet its so low that it hangs up on parking blocks and curbs and often scrapes on subtle inclines, I am steadily concerned it may crack or seperate at the fender. The push button starting is nice to have, the wireless key fob prevents scratching up the paint on the door with an old timey key. There is a decent amount of headroom in this car as I am 6"4. The driver seat has a power adjustment to lower it closer to the floor which was a huge headroom factor for me. You have to toghten the gascap until you hear and feel it click as you turn it- if not the check engine light comes on and you have to disconnect the battery cable for a minute or so- then reconnect the battery cable to stop seeing the check engine light on your instrument panel. I would definitely reccomended this car, it has that modern Toyota reliability and interior space for passengers with a decent powertrain. I don't feel as if I bought just another car, a 2015 Avalon is a good investment

2004 Toyota Avalon review
I purchased a 2002 Toyota Avalon XLS in 2012ish. The car was in immaculate condition inside and out. It had power and good on gas. They are safe and plush like leather, sunroof, house plug, automatic everything, navigation (which was an option), it even had a JBL system with a factory sub. The upgraded JBL system was jamming too. The dash took some getting used to but I miss it now. You don't work on these all you gotta do just maintenance them and that's it 😂. The brakes were the easiest I have ever changed. It was the best car I ever had hands down. The perfect car for anyone. I have gotten my girl one and fixing to get my niece one. I am gonna buy another one myself. Mine got totaled and I miss it so bad. You crazy thing is I owned mine about 15 years ago and the price still hasn't went down. I predict they will go up in value.

Overall this car is reliable. The the material use to cover the door handles, cup holders and console is extremely poor quality. The covering on the door handles and console have literally dissolved and the fake crom on the cup holders has cracked and has sharp edges that can cut your fingers if drinks are not removed carefully. Very disappointed, quality not comparable to price of vehicle.
