2017 Corolla SE Nightmare
December 27, 2018
Where do i even start with this nightmare? I bought the 2017 Toyota corolla SE in August 2017 because I liked the looks, and was counting on a 20 year car (turns out that's like finding a Unicorn.) It had 9 miles on the odometer.
Today, it has roughly 9830 miles on it, and I'm trying to figure out the fastest way to get rid of it without losing too much of my money (I'm upside down on the loan.) Come to find out... This year has very shoddy resale value. Go figure.
To make a long story short, it has begun malfunctioning. First, the steering locked up, and it wouldn't accelerate... Now.. It suddenly loses power, and wanders all over the road, no matter how much you try to compensate.
It refuses to heat up, and papers left in the glove box look like they've been soaked and dried out.
RPMs spike randomly, where ever they please, and when it does decide to shift.. It 'kicks'.. Jerks, judders, what have you.
I am absolutely displeased with this car. It will be my first, and last, Toyota. Ever.
This car is extremely unsafe and not worth your money. STAY AWAY!!!
