Nick was my salesman during the purchase of our new Toyota Highlander. From start to finish Nick was professional and knowledgeable. He explained each trim and each feature associated with each trim. Despite this being a really difficult time to buy a car after having my Prius totaled and living with constant pain, Ian made my shopping and purchase experience a breeze...almost painless. He's knowledgeable and friendly. I couldn't ask for more in a salesman.

Vinny was great. I hate buying cars because of all the nonsense, and oftentimes, over the top salesman approach you get at a lot of dealerships. Vinny is a straight shooter and isn't the guy who is going to force his sales pitch on you. He will give you the facts, his opinion and then let you decide without annoying you or pressuring you. Really a very smooth and straight forward buying experience. Out of the probably dozen cars I have bought or leased between my wife and I, our purchase through Vinny @ Freehold Toyota is one of only two or three experiences where I left happy. If you want a Toyota and you go to DCH in Freehold, ask for Vinny and be confident that you will not get aggravated or get ripped off. A+

3 years ago I leased a 2016 Camry with Ian. I went with my husband, who has since passed away. Now I had to do things on my own and my lease was over. I am a very nervous person and got my brother and cousin involved to make the right choice. Ian had no problem taking to them and giving them information. I looked for Ian to help me now because the experience was such a good one in the past. Ian is very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, understanding, and patient. He has a great personality and is an all around nice guy. He worked with me over my concerns. I would highly recommend Ian to anyone looking for a Toyota. He even helped me getting adjusted to the new things in my 2019 Camry. I only have wonderful things to say about him. The dealership is great. I will always go back to Ian. Thanks Ian for all your help.
Working with Vinny was fantastic. No pressure, no games or BS. Straight forward and easy process. Vinny is not a salesman if that makes sense - he's a good guy and I hate pretty much everyone. All class - highly recommend!
It was a great experience working with Gateway. I had gone to several dealers and felt like the dealers were forcing a sale and then harassing me via telephone. Andrew answered all of my questions and then stepped back to let me decide and had me call him when I was ready. The purchase was seamless and Jay was laid back and professional.
Ozzy was prompt, attentive and knowledgeable about the cars. He listened to my thoughts and helped me pick out a car that I am very happy with. When I call the dealership with questions he is always responsive. I decided I want a red Prius. A couple of days later he contacted me to say they were having difficulty locating a red one, would I like silver? I said no, I'd like a red one. He said OK, and 3 days later he called to tell me my red one was being prepped to be ready the next day. Good service. Thank you. Finance department was fine but I wasn't crazy about the way the extended warrantee was presented--it allowed me no time to examine the detail of a nearly $4000 purchase. Take it or leave it is not my way of purchasing anything. After I raised this objection I was told I may cancel within 30 days. A little better,a little late, and it cost me $70 to make my decision. My only negative to this experience.

The process of buying a new car is very overwhelming and there is no exception at this agency. I realized once I sat down in the finance dept. that you are pushed into buying in a very confusing manner. There is so much info to process and so many extras, warranty info. that I wish I had taken home the contract to review over time and with other people but the rep made it seem like the deal would expire if i didn't agree right there. And after being at that dealership for an entire 2 days I was so over it.
I later found out (after years of owning this car I purchased) that many things I thought were included with the extended warranty I purchased were not and that the extra seat cleaning protection plan I purchased with the co. they recommended didn't work at all (don't get this!!).
To their credit DCH did refund that amount to me after months of annoyance trying to get the contacted co. to clean my seats.
I found the finance part is the most slippery and somewhat deceiving., not transparent at all. When I tried to call Diego back with questions about what he told me I would receive for my payment he never returned my repeated calls. Maybe this is common practice at other dealerships but they really turned me off w this.
As far as the service is concerned, they are usually pretty good but I made the mistake of getting the ride pick up after my car was serviced by their shuttle bus (in March of 2018) and was left for over 3 hours waiting for the driver, and not at my home!!!! No apology from the management of the service team and for once I didn't get a satisfaction survey from them (prob cause I would have complained). To add salt to the wound, when I mentioned it to the service rep he said I should have been offered a cab from their mgr. Well that would have been nice!
