I drove three hours to buy a car from this dealership, because their price could lot be beat in mn home state. We worked the deal out on the phone and by email which made the actual purchase of the car only take a few minutes. It was a smooth process.
Very easy to purchase, the entire thing happened over email and the papers were signed via overnight FedEx. Less than 1 week later, the car was in my driveway. It does take longer than a traditional dealer, but you don't have to sit there for hours while the paperwork and financing takes place. The car came in immaculate condition, no paint chips, no scratches. Interior was perfectly detailed and cleaned. Good price, low mileage, clean history report.
Probably the best car buying experience ever! Started with CarGuru app searching for vehicles. When I reached out for more information, Matthew responded very quickly. Not only buy email and text but with a personal video message. Alexis was able to show us the vehicle we purchased and continued us through the buying process. On final day, Matthew closed us out. I say all of this because the continuity of service and professionalism never changed. The finance team was even able to beat my banks loan rate! Buying a 2017 Highlander. Person I had an appointment with was off. Bad start.
They sent me out with a young man, an intern home from college. Couldn't get the lift gate to operate properly. Not looking good. He went to get a sales person to help. Helpful, he was. Explained much more than I could digest prior to the test drive. Things were looking better. We sat down to work on the numbers. I told him of a quote I had from another dealer. He got that matched. When he gave me the value of my trade in, I told him a price I wanted. He got that price matched. Things looking much better. After some discussion of fees, we agreed to split them. Took a while to get the vehicle ready, but we spent time with a couple different persons.
Overall, a typical car buying experience. I was however, surprised they matched every price point I gave them. This was only one trip back and forth. Not the normal 5-6 times, and here comes a manager to explain you are passing up the deal of a lifetime. This was probably the best car buying experience I've ever had. Thanks Hunter, and Cody.
Went to get the oil changed on my 2015 Toyota Camry. It was an easy, quick, excellent experience. Don't go to these oil change "specialty shops." It's no more expensive to get your dealership to change the oil AND they washed my car for me before giving it back!
This morning I received a very sincere touching voicemail from Logan, salesman at cottage auto sales (son of the owner). He was totally apologetic. Not going to blame him or me for the misunderstanding or miscommunication on this care deal. Logan said that he would give me my cash back and the trade in or my car, If that would make me happy. I was in total disbelief or shocked. Used car lots just don't do crazy things like that!!! Logan asked me what would make me happy or satisfied. I told him, and he is going to take care of the issues tomorrow, himself. Logan is only 22yrs. old. Unbelievably!!!!!
I have bought two quality vehicles from this lovely family business. They put their customers first by offering to have your own mechanic evaluate cars from their inventory. Although their haggle-free policy means they don't negotiate on price, I have always found their prices very reasonable for the quality. As long as I live in the Louisville area, I will always look here first for any auto needs I have. It truly is a pleasure doing business with them.
I met Jake 2 months ago and I couldn't get approved. He gave me some pointers to follow and told me he would follow up in a couple months. He did so brought me in and sold me a car that I love.
