I went from a corolla cross le gas model to a rav 4 hybrid le and there is a major difference in the size and road noise. I love the gas mileage in the rav 4 hybrid. The cabin is very quiet in the rav 4 hybrid. I am glad to recommend the rav 4 hybrid over the corolla cross le gas model.

hours ago NEW if you are looking for a Toyota, I highly recommend using Cedric at Toyota of Katy. I called him, told him what I was looking for, he went out in the rain, and got pictures and videos. Met me at the dealership the next day early before he was supposed to be at work. Started the process of purchasing a new vehicle. He explained everything in detail, very patient, very kind, as I was waiting for finance to be approved, he constantly kept me up-to-date. Answered all my questions in detail. I could not have hand picked a better salesman!!

I’ve had this SUV for 1 1/2 years. I love it! Is is fun and easy to drive. It is comfortable and has adequate space for 4 passengers. We sometimes haul 5, but the backseat gets tight for that. Mine is getting approximately 29 mpg on midgrade fuel. Love the pushbutton start, lane keep assist, blind spot monitor, controls on steering wheel, rear hatch open and shut buttons, hands free talk, and huge display screen. Toyota could do better with the door handle touch to lock and unlock. Mine don’t work as well as expected. It also has a very annoying ding to warn when the roads may be icy that we apparently cannot turn off. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 on performance due to acceleration rate. It makes big noise like it’s going somewhere, but doesn’t really accelerate exceptionally well. It also shifts oddly sometimes. I notice it mostly when you slow down, but don’t stop ( think yield sign). It will jerk pretty hard when you accelerate from low speed. Overall it is a great little SUV with many bells and whistles for it’s price point. It feels very safe and reliable.

Service was roughly an hour and a half. The customer lounge area allowed us to sit and wait comfortably. We also received a coupon from the dealership which made our visit inexpensive.

After purchase I immediately took the car on an 800 mile road trip. It is much more comfortable and rides more smoothly than our older RAV4 and had plenty of pep for highway driving. Averaged over 37 MPG at highway speed of 70-80 MPH. Would have liked a power hatchback but overall I’m very satisfied with the options that came with it as an LE model.

Massine was great. Helpful, patient and seemed to want to make me happy, he did. I enjoyed my experience, if a little on the long side.

Drove this '22 Rav4 throughout the US SW for over 3000 miles in 2 weeks without any problems and averaged 30+ mpg. Went through CO, UT, NV, CA, AZ, NM. Pleasant to drive and certainly comfortable enough. I have no complaints at the moment, and it doesn't have the CVT!

no matter how basic a car the ability to open your garage door should be standard. rav4 LE strips too many basic needs. toyota stop being cheap get in the game

The mechanics or management can?t seem to find the problem so I won?t be taking back there for service. I will use another facility closer to where I reside. The salesman John Staten is the BEST!!! I look forward to doing business and making referrals to him.

2022 Toyota RAV4 LE. I purchased this SUV new in 2022. It is the second RAV4 in our family of two. My wife purchased her 2018 RAV4 Hybrid limited new in 2018. She has depended on and enjoyed her SUV for 4 years now. Her experience influenced my decisions to buy a Toyota RAV4.

Great car overall but have have had problems with radio/screen. Needed to go back to dealer to reboot. As a current owner of now 2 Toyotas only disappointment was service.

This is my third car purchase from CAR MAX . A later model for the wife . A jeep Cherokee and is a 2019 with low mileage . She is happy and that makes US happy . The purchase was not hurried and no back and forth between Mr Smith and I . Really straightforward . Satisfied completely .

2018 Rav4 was totaled by someone who ran a stop sign. Miss this car every day. Every single airbag went off and me and the other passenger were safe and able to walk away alive. Thankful for this car.

My daughter bought a 2015 Kia Soul today from Jeff Wiemann at Carmax Cy Fair. 15 minutes into our visit she realized Jeff had been her salesman back in 2013 when she purchased her 'first' car! It stands to reason that the atmosphere at a luxury showroom would differ from the chaotic, high-pressure environment at most dealerships ... and such is the case here. I inquired online about the SUV I was interested in, and was promptly contacted via text (at my request, no phone call) by Walter Dillard. We were warmly greeted on arrival, and the test drive went well. Two other cars were on our short list, and we advised Walter that we'd contact him if the '19 XT4 Premium Luxury was our choice. There was absolutely none of the typical annoyances when leaving most places without pursuing a sale ... no manager, no "price is good for today only", but rather a thank-you, with the hope that we'd choose the Cadillac ... never even went back into the showroom. After checking out the other possibilities, we decided that the XT4 was the best of the bunch. Meeting the following morning, we further explored the tons of features (Walter really knows his products) and sat down to begin what is generally a tortuous, confrontational experience. To our delight, the negotiation was calm and very professional. Even the offer for our trade-in was realistic. The usual back-and-forth-to-management thing played itself out, and we came to terms on probably the third exchange. We'd like to have paid a bit less (who wouldn't) but given the fact that they included free vehicle pickup and delivery for service (including a loaner), as well as the first three oil changes (full synthetic), it was fair compensation. This is not to say that Peacock is immune from some "car game" practices. The Certified XT4 was priced at $X, but an additional charge was added for certifying the vehicle, along with a "reconditioning fee" (isn't getting it ready for sale a cost of doing business?) and "dealer service fee" (I thought dealer prep was a thing of the past) ... so we're now at $X plus about $3k. We're savvy enough to scratch those items out, but many people aren't. Funny thing, though ... they manage to reappear, while the drive-out price remains as agreed. Fun and games with numbers! We were paying cash, but had to transfer funds. This was a Saturday, so we offered to apply for financing in order to drive the vehicle out, paying it off when the transfer clears. The Finance Manager, Skeen Mathias, offered to let us take possession of the car that day, while providing a UPS overnight envelope, so that we could forward our check when the money became available. We were also informed that Tom Peacock will provide three bonus perks at no cost: key replacement, interior/exterior protection and collision deductible reimbursement (there are limits, of course). We were obviously more than pleased. Overall, Tom Peacock is a really good place to buy. Walter Dillard is a genuine sales professional, and will treat you as the intelligent and informed consumer you are ... but just watch out for the add-ins.

After having my Kia Soul stolen 2 times, the second time they totaled it, I wanted a good coar with better safety features. I got the Toyota, and I have had no regrets at all. Drives great, gives good gas milage, and performance, Starts right up, and offers the features I want in a car.

Bought new in 2018, have replaced battery and tires in 40000 miles. Been reliable but expected better gas mileage. 29 mpg hwy only 16 mpg in town.

2017 Rav4 LE FWD bought new.Excellent vehicle- best I have owned. Zero issues of any kind as far as reliability. A little soft around corners, but a nice ride. Very quiet on the highway, getting 32 mpg. 27 city. Lots of storage in the back. Still the original brakes all around with 82K miles.

Absolutely love the RAV4, good space and a fierce exterior. The engine can be lagging at times and sound “tiny”. Overall, a great vehicle nonetheless!

My family has always been devoted and loyal Toyota owners for years. My dad had a Celica and a Corolla. My Aunt had three Camrys back to back 1999 LE Gold Edition, 2004 XLE , 2007 XLE and her daughter my cousin had Camrys as well and a black Camry Solara SLE V6. My sister today has a Corolla and so does my cousin. My Uncle has an Avalon. Toyota loyalty runs deep in our family. They have never let us down. The RAV4 is no exception from the Camrys and the Corollas. We had a 21 Camry LE that we bought new and eventually upgraded to the 22 RAV4 XLE. Loved the Camry also. The quality, reliability, resale value, and value you get of a Toyota is unbeatable! You just cannot go wrong with buying any Toyota.

I honestly did not think buying a car would be this easy 10/10 recommend to anyone looking to buy there first car without a co-signer service was great!!

I recently purchased a 2023 RAV4 Hybrid and love the car in general. That said, I have one major complaint. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle, I was using my iPhone connected to the Multi-media screen through CarPlay, when the iPhone maps app disappeared and I got a splash screen saying “Experience Toyota Drive Connect.” There was no way to exit this screen apart from pulling over and restarting the car and reconnecting the iPhone. I googled this issue and saw various possible solutions, but none worked. I called Toyota and after multiple delays, was told that the only way to get rid of this screen is to purchase a subscription to “Go Anywhere” which includes Drive Connect and Remote Connect. The cost is $15 per month, plus whatever tax you pay in your locale. While Go Anywhere has some nice features, it should be an option, not a mandated purchase to utilize CarPlay. It seems to me that this is essentially extortion, forcing owners to purchase a subscription in order to use CarPlay. This is beneath the high standards of Toyota. I’m sure that Toyota could disable this splashscreen easily should they so desire.

We absolutely love our Rav 4! In fact, we’re planning on buying another one soon! Best vehicle we’ve ever owned except for the dealership we bought it from. We’re definitely buying from another dealership when we buy a new one. This one was used with pretty low miles but the dealership treated us horribly. The radio and entertainment system broke the first week after we bought it and the brakes started squealing. Also the tires they put on were the cheapest tires on the market so it’s not as good in the snow as it could be if it had good tires on it. Otherwise, it’s a phenomenal vehicle. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy one. We absolutely love it!!!
