I went through Costco and this dealer came up in referral. I did everything via e-mail (my preference) up to the point where car was being brought to dealership. After that salesperson had deal and car I wanted waiting for me. A painless, easy and no pressure car buying experience. Go see Marie or Anibal.
A stealth Tesla?

We were in the market for a Tesla (actually have an order for a model 3) but price was always in the back of my mind. I heard of these RAV 4s that were electric and began looking for one. After searching for months (off and on) I finally found this one in Indiana! Our salesman (Grant) did a great job taking care of a customer over 600 miles away and we took delivery as promised. Since we haven't driven it for any length of time yet, our initial impressions are that this is our best option for getting into the electric car experience.

Great Sales & Service - very professional response
by Laurence Graybill from Post Falls

Let me begin with an apology for the length of these comments. Please know that each word was earned, not coerced! I usually don’t complete consumer surveys as they seem to be presumptuous, reactionary and boring. What changed my mind on this occasion? A dealership that stands behind the words they speak! We had searched the internet for hours to find a simple, smaller 2WD pickup without all the bells and whistles, yet one with low mileage that would operate effectively for years to come. The list of available vehicles was not long in our neck of the woods but one was found at Arrottas AutoMax. Traveling to North Spokane from Post Falls, Id was not ideal but we called and set up an appointment the next day. Meeting Joe was delightful and he interspersed answers to ALL my questions with candid responses and humor. He didn’t hesitate to provide vehicle history information and even introduced us to Tyler the owner. Both my wife and I felt comfortable and well taken care of. There were comments made that they would “take care of us” as customers throughout the process. I heard the words but had been there before. The pickup itself had some dings - not a problem for a work vehicle from my perspective and not normally seen on a car lot – but perhaps it might work toward a lower price. They didn’t insist on participating on the test drive but showed trust, I liked it. I am not a mechanic so asked if my mechanic would be able to provide an inspection. Again receptive to our needs, an agreement was made. A lower price was offered and agreed upon should my mechanic give a thumbs up. No haggling back and forth. I liked that a lot. My mechanic found some needed repairs that are not normally noticed on a cursory inspection. I was not thrilled to call Joe with the news. Documentation was provided and a call received from the service folks that they wanted to check things out themselves. Our thinking was that the pickup would be taken back to Arrottas and our search would continue. The repairs were not simple or inexpensive. Their response was extraordinary. Not only did they validate the problems noted, but we were extremely impressed that they felt it was important that they repair them. Could it be that they really did want to “Take care of us”? They further showed their character when informing us that they would cover the costs. Did I mention that I was impressed? A car dealership that makes claims that they stand behind is rare these days. We thank God for the blessings we received at Arrottas AutoMax and would not be hesitant to encourage others to visit them for a wonderful vehicle buying experience. Sincerely, Larry & Suella Graybill

We were replacing the Nissan Leaf as the 36 month lease is up. I needed a car to replace this vehicle. What was important was the ability to transport our large dog Frankie a Great Pyrenees. He weighs in at 125 lbs. I did not want him on the seats. I did not want him standing on top of the folded down seats as there was no protection if we had to stop quickly. The ideal situation was a rear area that was large enough to accommodate him. I limited the search to Hybrids, Hydrogen fuel, Plug-ins, and All Electrics. The vast majority of all Electric vehicles have battery sizes under 24kwh. The only exceptions are the Tesla S, and the Toyota Rav4EV. I initially looked at the Rav4EV and because the car lacked a fast charge capability decided against it. However, it had the right size and capacity. I then began to consider all the others. The plain hybrid was dropped because it did not qualify for the Diamond Lane Sticker, though I liked the Toyota Prius V. The problem there is I am already driving the equivalent and really wanted something different. I have and have had Prius hybrids now for over 9 years. So I have experience with them. The next group to drop out was the hydrogen fuel vehicles. While on average they can drive 300 miles you are pretty much corralled into a specific geography. There just is not the infrastructure required. Also very slow from zero to 60 miles per hour. I did like the new Hyundai Tucson Hydrogen Fuel vehicle. However upon review found the back of the vehicle not large enough for Frankie. I then looked at Plug-ins. Kind of the best of both all Electric and Hybrid vehicles. The problem here is no one makes a SUV type of Plug-in except Mitsubishi (Outlander PHEV). However it is not available in this Country probably for another 1 1/2 years. So that left me again looking at Electrics. I again reviewed the Rav4EV. I did some searching and found that with reasonable driving speeds, you could drive from Orange County to Santa Barbara (120 miles) That sounded really good. The size was perfect. The performance was there. The nice thing is you are getting the Tesla drive train at a Toyota price. So after careful consideration I took the leap. Thus far I am delighted. Someone is already working on a fast charger hookup for the car. That is what is so exciting about this industry. The people buying these cars are innovative and experimental. I expect that in the near future you will be able to purchase the kit necessary to allow the Rav4EV to charge with a fast charger. Then distance is less of an issue. The car could benefit from Leather interior. Thought a lot of the people buying the vehicle don't like the idea. Great visibility, utilitarian, and a pleasure to drive. I would probably have a bit of a better sound system, though this one is ok. The car is very quiet as you would expect with an all Electric. I would have added all windows up and down express instead of just the driver window. The rear view camera is not as good as the Nissan Leaf. The Nissan Leaf has pretty good electronics. But also remember it was designed from the get go as an all Electric. The leaf was a joy to drive. Just too short of a driving range. The Rav4EV has front window shades that have pull out visors to use when you fold it against the side windows. This is a favorite of my wife. The mirrors fold and have turn signals built in. I added a module that auto folds the mirrors when you lock the car and unfolds when you start the electric motor. Otherwise it was a push button. The verbal navigation system seems to work. That has been an area that really needs help for many years. I am using a 40 amp charger that is portable. The car will charge completely in ~6 hours from completely dead. It is a Toyota after all so that has its own benefits. Keep in mind I also have an 2001 Acura NSX-T that I supercharged and put on coil overs, headers, exhaust, and big brakes. I have tracked my car as well. So I do appreciate driving and driving fast.

We bought two cars from Casey at Hyundai because he was as knowledgeable about cas and not pushy. Test drove about 5 before buying Hyundai. The brand is reliable, minimal recalls and offers a great 100k warranty.

It is an amazing vehicle. rides smooth and quiet. Has tremendous amount of power. 1st electric car that has great appearance at a reasonable cost. It has a 150 mile range that should stop the range anxiety. I would highly recommend this car. I am also very disappointed that there are not more vehicles like this one.

Perhaps best BMW dealer in Silicon Valley
by Jeff Keller from Palo Alto, CA
November 30, 2018
5 4.3 (906 reviews)
Buying a car from them was quite smooth. They had many variations of the model I was looking for and were quite willing to show me every one they had in stock. They had posted sale prices online for some of the cars they had in stock but discounted others which were advertised at a higher price. Negotiations for the price were fairly quick. When signing the paperwork, there was the typical sales speech to sell me additional services but when I said I was not interested the sales talk stopped. I had bought a different BMW from another dealer 5 years earlier. That dealer's service department gave me quite poor service. I often had to take my car back to them right after they serviced it. I checked online reviews and found Stevens Creek BMW seemed to have the best reputation. I had bought parts from the Stevens Creek BMW parts department and was quite satisfied with the experience. I was seriously considering switching from BMW to Mercedes Benz but my experience with and the reputation of Stevens Creek BMW were enough keep me interested in a new BMW even though I have had excellent service provided for my old Mercedes by a nearby dealer.
