Today the guys at Ole Ben Franklin Motors in Alcoa really saved me. My 2 yr old Lincoln MKZ was showing low battery in the key so I decided to change the batteries in both key fobs. They came apart easily but over 2 hrs later a total of 4 intelligent adults were unable to put them back together, so I am thinking I have to drive all the way into Knoxville to the delearship where I purchased the car. I had company coming and really didn’t have time but my car was useless until I did. So I jumped into my old Ford truck and took off. On the way I passed Ole Ben Franklin Motors so I thought why not try to see if they could do it. I walked in and explained my problem and the first guy asked if I bought the car from them. I said no and he said OK and went right to work on the fob. After a couple of minutes he decided there must be some trick to it and walked me over to Tom Weiss the general manager. Tom immediately smiled at me, took the fob and went to work on it. It took him about 4-5 minutes but he got it together and handed it back to me. I thought I may be pushing my luck a bit but took the other fob out of the bag and asked if he would do that one too. It was in 4 pieces so soon a delightful young named Mitchell walked up and between them both they got the second one back together. THANK YOU TOM AND MITCHELL for your graciousness. I was treated like their best customer ever even though they knew I had never purchased anything from them. They are the kind of people I love doing business with so I will give them a try the next time I need a car.
I worked with Jan from Carvana- she was able to explain to me the process, make sure I was comfortable with where it was at, was able to be reached and kept communication open. The pick up process went smoothly and I was able to sell my car without any glitches.
They made sure I got the Truck that fit my needs. Great sales staff and service. My truck did not have a spair tire and was reimbursed what I paid for it. They registered my truck and got me a new Desert Storm Veteran plate. Thanks!
inquired about used car online. was informed an employee was considering it for his daughter. was later informed employee did in fact buy the car. It was a fun inquiry. I bought a similar car from a private individual later that same day. the online salesman was very professional and polite. I have bought from Reeder before. They have good quality used cars.
Used car needed to be checked out. 21 point inspection found leaking motor sports and oil pan gasket. Asst Svc Mgr contact extended warranty company on my behalf and found these to be covered. I approved repairs and Asst Svce Mgr obtained payment on my behalf.
I had brake system inspected and it was determined that master cylinder needed to be replaced. Asst Svc Mgr again contacted extended warranty company and obtained coverage/payment.
I am in awe of this company and their forward thinking, revolutionary approach to purchasing an auto. Jon Dunaway and PALS have my sincerest thanks and appreciation for working with me to find a vehicle that not only fit into my budget but is reliable and a "sweet"ride. PALS is a fantastic service, and I would definitely use them again to purchase another vehicle! I am extremely satisfied with my Nissan Rogue, and Brad and David were a pleasure to work with. PALS found the perfect vehicle for me within my price range. My Rogue was in near perfect condition and had super low mileage for a 2012 model in 2016.
If you do your homework on the car you want and they have what you want, do it! The best part was, the car was delivered to me! I felt like a baller when the car showed up in my driveway. Customer service was amazing. Best part, no pressure. Just me and my laptop, looking at all the cars until I found what I wanted. Just do your homework on the vehicle, you can't go wrong!!!!! I had very specific requirements and Vroom was the only place that had what I wanted. They offered me blue book on the trade in and the purchase with no haggling. The car was as described. The lighting on their pictures was off so much I thought the interior was gray and not black. Luckily I'm fine with black. Customer service has been great. Delivery was fast. The car came with a white residue all over it, I guess the soap they use; I had to work hard to get it off. They delivered it to me in a public place with no gas. The fuel light was on. I wanted to drive around the parking lot and acclimate my self to the car but I felt immense time pressure to get to a gas station and as a result hit the road without even adjusting the mirrors. Kind of dangerous. Right now they are having a problem getting me the title almost two months after purchase; not sure if it's Vroom's fault but at least they are politely keeping me up to date and sending me a replacement drive-out tag since the first one is about to expire. As scary as it was buying a car online, I'd say overall it has gone well and I would recommend Vroom. Be aware that the contract forces you to give up your right to sue in court. You can opt out by sending a letter to Vroom's lawyers in New York.
Like most I was very skeptical about buying a car online. But I did my research and google'd the company like crazy. What I found in my research is the company had laid off people due to rapid growth and during this time frame the reviews were not good at all. Which to me makes sense and most likely vroom could have done a better job to make sure customers did not feel the effects. But after that period the reviews were really good. Also they have a very high rating with the BBB. That all said I decided to purchase my Jeep Wrangler through Vroom. The entire process from start to finish was awesome! I did not do a trade but just a purchase. I submitted my request for finance and purchase on 7/29 Sunday morning and received a call 7/30 Monday morning. I spoke to the sales person which there was no pressure just Q&A. I put down a deposit so I could secure the Jeep. There was communication via email by Vroom throughout the process including when the Jeep was in route. My jeep was delivered within the time frame they explained, which was the following Friday 8/10 cleaned and in excellent condition. I received my tag and paperwork about a month after the Jeep was delivered. I have 3 kids so spending 4 hours at a dealership is not fun. I would definitely buy from Vroom again. I hope this review helps others who might be on the fence. (Atlanta, GA)
I have traded and bought several cars in my lifetime with varying experiences with sales people but my experience with Anthony and Mark was far beyond anything I have dealt with in the past. I have never seen two guys work so hard to get me into a nice used vehicle. In my opinion, Anthony and Mark went far far beyond the making sure I was taken care of. I could go on all day about their determination but in a nutshell--these guys were 3 levels above "awesome."
Go see Jeremy he's awesome very friendly and super helpful. Before I went to see them I had been Internet shopping found 2 cars I wanted to test drive on their lot and decided to go in. When I pulled in, there was no sales person pressure at all, they let me walk around and look until I was ready. When I was ready Jeremy took care of me all the way he's a really cool guy and so easy to talk to. The other LA Auto employees are also really nice and easy to talk to, I even met the owner sweet man. I definitely recommend this place in Morristown Tn. There even better than the dealerships out here which I got so pressured and almost convinced into buying a car I didn't even like ugh... I love my Nissan Juke 2011 that I picked out and like oh, I even asked Jeremy to show me the car fax and he did. Lol I always wanted to say that.
