Great truck but check timing belt and frame rust.
November 1, 2018
I recently purchased a used 2007 Tundra with 126K miles on it. I later learned there is an open safety recall on these trucks for frame rust, that is open until March 2019, so get your truck to the dealer! I was a little disappointed, as I didn't realize 2007 was one of the model years. My frame seems okay, for the moment but I will definitely get the inspections done. I'm not overly concerned about it, despite living in the northeast.
Other than that, the truck looks new, rides new and runs like a new truck despite the mileage. These trucks are very reliable if you keep them serviced properly. The 4.7L engine in mine is bulletproof, except for the timing belt. Mine had a good service history except the timing belt. With 126K miles, it was 40K overdue for timing belt service which can be used to negotiate pricing (a Toyota dealer will want about $2K to perform the service - buy the parts and do it yourself, or pay a reputable garage $500 or so).
I bought the truck to haul yard waste and tackle snow in the winter, and it does both in spades. The 4.7L has plenty of power, although mileage is a bit lacking. I wouldn't drive one as a daily commuter.
