I knew exactly what I wanted and did a internet search. I live about 130 miles away for Greene Ford. I found the truck at Greene Ford and did a online inquiry. Within minutes JASON VIEIRA was calling me with details of the truck. As it turned out it was what I was looking for. I had driven several trucks at local dealers and knew I wanted a Ford. I called JASON and said I would be in the next day after work to purchase. That happened to be his day off but he came in. We did all the paperwork over the phone. JASON had the truck full of fuel and thoroughly went over the options and features. I did not get there until almost closing but they were very accommodating and stayed well after closing to make sure I was happy. The TR6 has a stiff clutch, stiff steering, stiff suspension, a big six cylinder engine with twin carburetors, a great exhaust note, lots of low-end torque for fast acceleration from low RPM's, big wheels and tires, a convertible top and fabulous styling. It was, and still is, the perfect traditional British sportscar for the true enthusiast. I have owned mine for 45 years. It is, as ever, a joy to behold! My car has a factory-authorized but dealer-installed built-in air conditioner for warm Miami weather or whenever top-down motoring was not practical.
