I went to view a used car and they gave me no trouble at all! The test drive was really quick and easy. They also offered a really good deal for the car I want.
Absolutely love this vehicle

I should start by stating I have made some tasteful modifications to this car. Sport tunned Coilovers, ECU tune, Turbo back exhaust and an intake. This car is absolutely amazing. I'm currently making 227 whp and 267 tq on a factory clutch without incident. The 1.8 came alive with the Unitronic Stage 1+ tune and fuel mileage has actually gotten considerably better. Now getting 37mpg on average. Amazing vehicle with nearly unlimited potential.
The best experience purchasing a used car, hands down! Called about a VW I had found on cars.com and scheduled to come in and take a look. Everybody was extremely friendly and accommodating. They answered all our questions and made the experience very painless. They will always be our go to moving forward when looking for a quality used car! Thank you!
Why Don't More People Own Wagons?

This car gets excellent gas mileage (30mpg average) and has 50% more cargo space than my old hatchback. Its quick and sporty, and feels good to drive. Visibility is about the same as in my hatchback (just ok), so the backup camera is a nice addition. The radio and wheel controls are mostly pretty intuitive, some a little useless, and I wish it were more customizable. Nothing will blow you away about the "infotainment" system. But for someone who wants lots of space without getting an SUV, this car is exactly what you need.
The service was suppose to include checking all fluids, tire pressure, and etc but instead the service writer asked if I wanted those things done (and that it would take more than an hour). Last I checked, it only takes a few minutes to check windshield washer fluid and make sure the tires are inflated perfectly. The service was originally for a factory recommended ???ECM Programming.??? My question, if you???re trying to improve your customer service, why wouldn???t you just perform a courtesy fluid check (after all you had the car for an hour)? Strangely, the R/O says it was performed
Great alternative to a small SUV
by TDI Owner from Waukesha, WI

Lots of adjustable cargo space, great fuel economy and 10K mile oil changes give you a great alternative to a small SUV. I got 54 MPG on a mostly highway trip and 45 MPG in all city driving, much better than the EPA MPG rating.
I worked with Jan from Carvana- she was able to explain to me the process, make sure I was comfortable with where it was at, was able to be reached and kept communication open. The pick up process went smoothly and I was able to sell my car without any glitches.

With the admission to a solution for VW scandal of recalls, with first hand experience owning and driving both 2014 and 2015 TDI models, who could have complaints on cat selection.
Best in class fuel economy. Incredibly comfortable ride, ergonomics are inherently German, and subtle exterior curb appeal. Both are A+ cars in my book. Combine TDI fuel efficiency, interior comfort and cargo space, visibility is hands down impressive, and a great build quality for the price. The next closest vehicle is a BMW 3 series diesel wagon at $12k more.
If they were to combine the/a new TDI engine to the alltrack version, simply put, the best car for the money that doesnt come from a inheritantly luxury brand.
It was nice to get beyond the dickering that one is always subjected to from car salespeople. Buying from the comfort of home was nice.

Very responsive driving experience and more comfortable than I expected. Cornering in this model is fantastic. Not a fan of leather seats but the heated seat option takes care of that. The cargo space is just as large as the Jeep I traded in and much more easily accessed. Have 3 dogs - large, medium, small - they can jump in due to low rear lift-gate and they are not squeezed in so have plenty of room to stretch out long trips. Rear seats fold flat. Very pleased with this purchase. I was looking at the Tourag but found the wagon a much better fit for me.
All around great service. Friendly and honest service. Comster service was always available. I recieved my vehicle within four days after the completed process, of paper work.
Most comfortable & practical roadtrip car I've had

I'm a frequent and long-range driver, and I often make 12+ hour/day trips out of state. This car is the first that doesn't give me aches and pains, and because it's so good on gas, that includes bank account pains! Great car.
Family owned business that is clean and well organized. Service is great and personnel are friendly. Been going there for years and know most by name. Prices are reasonable.

I recently purchased a 2015 golf Sportwagon TDI, when test driving and looking at the vehicle I never thought I would love it as much as I do. I switched from a 2011 370z. The Sportwagon is great, gas mileage is 44mpg. The back seats fold down and give more space than most vehicles that has come in very handy. The cost of maintenance is very small compared to other European brands. I will have this car for a very long time.
We worked with Vinny and I would highly recommend him as your sales consultant. He is very knowledgeable about these vehicles and their safety features, which was one of the main reasons I was getting a CX-5 with the Grand Touring trim and Premium package. We told him that we wanted to buy the car cash and get out of there quickly and he made this happen. The only thing I would recommend to this dealership is to get some half and half or heavy cream for the fridge by the coffee machine instead of having just the powder creamer.
Of all the cars I have owned, this is the best one

I have owned quite a few cars in my lifetime. I have fond memories of some, others...not so much. This vehicle does it all. Comfortable, reliable, excellent road feel and handling, unworldly fuel mileage, decent utility. I am currently getting about 46 mpg average with my TDI. It is a pleasure to drive. It is not your grampa’s diesel. This vehicle has more than adequate acceleration. Passing on two lane roads is achieved with confidence. It seems unfettered when asked to do so. For a small vehicle, it has a great deal of interior volume. I am hard pressed to find another car that does it all like this one.
For me, the process of purchasing a car was always painful. But not this time. I actually had a pleasant experience, fast, easy, honest.....the best ever.
Greatest Auto I Have Ever Owned!

I love this car. It is easy to get in and out. The sound system is wonderful and easy to operate. Because I have blue tooth, if my iPhone rings, the sound comes straight from the radio. Because I travel for at least two hours at a time, it is necessary to have my phone available and my GPS readable. When I am tired, I can easily switch to automatic control, using the steering wheel. There is plenty of room for my two dogs: The GoldenPyrenees--117 lbs; HuskyHound 65 lbs. My grandkids love driving this car!
Great dealership to work with. No pressure, no playing games with price. Salesperson (Tony) was excellent...very knowledgeable, responsive and professional. An overall good buying experience. Got the car I wanted at a very good price
OUR PICK THIS TIME!

We have friends & famy that swear by VW products. After driving a Toyota Matrix for 10 years and 200,000 miles we picked-up a deal on a VW Golf Sportwagon. Looks great, drives great and has all the room inside for bikes, dogs, stuff & all the things we generally have to haul around. It’s really good on gas mileage. The DCT Transmission is totally awesome and it has very good power. When you figure this is a 1.8 liter turbo 4-banger, it’s surprisingly quick. We have put 7,000 miles on it so far and are eased with it as well as our dealer!
Research the vehicle over the net prior to visit. Made an appointment so they were expecting us and we were not waiting around. Had a quick discussion with John and off we went on the test drive. The decision to buy was an easy one. They look like a busy dealer so I am not sure the level of service when the time comes. Hopefully it???s not painful. Thanks to team for making the process quick and easy.
Very new and excited

It’s a bit early but so far so good car runs nice learned a lot more about diesels ( love the gas mileage )and I think I got a good value handles well and is comfortable inside
This dealership is above average. Everyone was so friendly and courteous. They made sure I received all of the options I wanted. I definately recommend this dealership.
Great family car

This car has all the trunk space you need to travel, easy to get the stroller, luggage, and has standard roof rails. Very comfort and has the Golf racing shift paddle, very sporty and yet family friendly.
Went looking for that rare gem, a 2018 VW Golf R and hoped to avoid haggling w/ a diffocult dealership. Was my first time to VW of Salem County NJ and I could not be happier with the outcome. I got my dream car and met some of the nicest and genuinely-caring people. I highly recommend you see sales rep Bob Fisher if you're in the market for a VW, new or used.
Really Fun Car to Drive

From the time you get in and start the engine till you come to a stop and get out this car is a dream to own. Twice the MPG of my previous small pick up truck. Great quality in styling. Wonderful handling. Just enough speed to feel sporty. Plenty of room to carry all the things you buy at Home Depot. Everything you need in a car/wagon and nothing extraneous. It has many useful, well thought out functions that others just don't have. You just have to take one for a spin and you'll be hooked.
Kevin, Ed, Bob, Bill and the staff went above our expectations. They were in constant communication throughout the purchase. The car was delivered as promised and would highly recommend this dealership!

This car checks all the boxes. Over 40 mpg in everyday driving. Handling is the usual European sportiness. Easily configurable to fit passengers as well as cargo.
Very practical transportation. Only wish that you could get the TDI in AWD.

It’s too bad VW didn’t correct the TDI emissions at the beginning. The TDI engine may be the best motor VW has made. It’s the second one for me. Excellent torque and smooth. Did I mention that it’s no too hard to get 50 mpg in city driving and more on the highway’ It has tight European handling and a very functional interior in the Sportwagen along with factory roof rails when used with the right accessory allows for roof mounted equipment.
The dealership personnel were very courteous and professional. There was no high pressure tactics and our salesman (Ron Kincaid) took the time to go over the vehicle with us and explain the details. Jim the owner was very friendly and seemed willing to get the deal done. My wife and I would certainly visit this dealership again when looking for our next vehicle.
Engineering flaws again
by Iwantadifferentcar from Wheaton, IL
August 28, 2018
The 2017 VW Golf has an engineering flaw in the sunroof that causes the drains to get clogged with dirt. Most sunroofs have a metal windscreen that pops up, but the Golf has a fabric windscreen that captures dust and allows it to flow into the channel. Our sunroof leaked as a result. We had it in for the 10k, 20k service and were never told about maintaining the sunroof by blowing out the drains. But when it leaked they said it was our fault due to poor maintenance, while also telling us that at 40k miles they would have checked it. VW is not a good company. We bought the diesel that they engineered to pass the emissions test illegally, and had to buy this car as a replacement. We now have a regular job of blowing out the drains.
I have had my car for almost a year and have had absolutely zero issues with NPVW. Matt is a very helpful salesman and was able to get everything together without issue and Ken is great to deal with when the car needs to be serviced. Great employees and no pressure atmosphere.
The best value for the money.

This car is a diesel and out drives most 4 cylinders I’ve test driven. Has tons of room for a medium size family with pets and has features that are way beyond the price. We bought this car to be the family car but now I personally want one for myself.
