Vic Bailey's Internet Sales Mgr, John Carter, was very responsive and easy to work with. He got me all the information I needed and helped me work with their Business Mgr to get the deal put together I needed. He made the whole negotiations and purchase quick a simple since we new exactly what we wanted.
Wow. I am going to start off by saying that the people who work here are just genuinely good and honest people.
I was buying a new Jetta after returning my Jetta for the TDI settlement. As an out of town buyer I was originally nervous about driving 2 hours to a dealership with really low prices. Kristian roof made the out of town purchase very simple, and ensured me that they are reliable in their prices. The night before we were going to drive to get the car, we experienced a hiccup and was able to talk to the General Sales Manager, Wofford, at 10pm on a Friday night. He was available and quick to get back to us, and very accommodating. Buying the car the next morning could not have gone any smoother. There were NO surprise fees or problems purchasing the car. Kristian and Wofford were a pleasure to work with.
This brings me to Patrick, the finance manager. Patrick was great to work with the day I bought my car. One week later he was willing to talk to corporate about my TDI settlement problems. AND he spent 2 hours talking to my DMV when I returned home when they tried to overcharge me. This really shows that they care about their customers even after you buy the car.
The customer service at Vic Bailey VW cannot be matched. Their prices were the lowest in the area, combined with their honesty and amazing customer service, I cannot imagine buying a car from anyone else. I would suggest Vic Bailey to any out of town buyer! Thank you!!
Face it: stereotypically, people hate when the time comes to buy a car because they feel they have to go to a "pushy" dealership. Personally, I have purchased three VW's from Vic Bailey Volkswagen and have every intention of going back for my next one simply because I actually ENJOY purchasing a vehicle from them. Their mission is to treat you like a person who needs a car - not like a potential dollar that can be made. Hal Foster, general manager, and his team are fantastic and have always treated me fairly with integrity. If you have an issue that can be fixed, they will go to great lengths to make sure that you are satisfied. Scott Glover and his team have maintained my vehicles in the service department for eight years - I cannot say enough good things about them. Business is business - and every business must make a profit - but I truly believe that this dealership cares about its clients, their decisions and their satisfaction. Have bought a number of used cars as my work requires travel. This was a relaxed honest buy. They were respectful, kind, and ready to assist on any question I had. I found the whole staff to be very helpful. Patrick personally handled my test drive and paperwork. While they are Volkwagen, I found a used Subaru I am very happy with. I would definitely return. They have very good guidelines in place to keep customers happy. I had a few questions the next day and they called immediately and answered all. I am completely happy. So I feel I can expect consistently good treatment and care there. Was a short drive from my home in Greenville.
I have just purchased my 3rd car from Sports and Imports Cars; one Lexus LS 430; one Lexus LS 460 and and a Volvo XC 90. This is the only place that I would anticipate buying a used car due to the quality, condition, value for the dollar, and excellent service. Every vehicle on the lot is hand picked, and meticulously maintained, providing the purchaser with only the best available product. It is family owned and the Kranidiotis family proudly stands behind every vehicle that they sell, making any and every effort to guarantee your satisfaction Even other local competitive car dealers have told me that , although you may find a better deal, you will NOT find a better car. Their inventory is impressive, and if you are appreciative of flawless detailing and high end presentation, then they deserve a visit before you make a car purchase.
If you do your homework on the car you want and they have what you want, do it! The best part was, the car was delivered to me! I felt like a baller when the car showed up in my driveway. Customer service was amazing. Best part, no pressure. Just me and my laptop, looking at all the cars until I found what I wanted. Just do your homework on the vehicle, you can't go wrong!!!!! I had very specific requirements and Vroom was the only place that had what I wanted. They offered me blue book on the trade in and the purchase with no haggling. The car was as described. The lighting on their pictures was off so much I thought the interior was gray and not black. Luckily I'm fine with black. Customer service has been great. Delivery was fast. The car came with a white residue all over it, I guess the soap they use; I had to work hard to get it off. They delivered it to me in a public place with no gas. The fuel light was on. I wanted to drive around the parking lot and acclimate my self to the car but I felt immense time pressure to get to a gas station and as a result hit the road without even adjusting the mirrors. Kind of dangerous. Right now they are having a problem getting me the title almost two months after purchase; not sure if it's Vroom's fault but at least they are politely keeping me up to date and sending me a replacement drive-out tag since the first one is about to expire. As scary as it was buying a car online, I'd say overall it has gone well and I would recommend Vroom. Be aware that the contract forces you to give up your right to sue in court. You can opt out by sending a letter to Vroom's lawyers in New York.
Like most I was very skeptical about buying a car online. But I did my research and google'd the company like crazy. What I found in my research is the company had laid off people due to rapid growth and during this time frame the reviews were not good at all. Which to me makes sense and most likely vroom could have done a better job to make sure customers did not feel the effects. But after that period the reviews were really good. Also they have a very high rating with the BBB. That all said I decided to purchase my Jeep Wrangler through Vroom. The entire process from start to finish was awesome! I did not do a trade but just a purchase. I submitted my request for finance and purchase on 7/29 Sunday morning and received a call 7/30 Monday morning. I spoke to the sales person which there was no pressure just Q&A. I put down a deposit so I could secure the Jeep. There was communication via email by Vroom throughout the process including when the Jeep was in route. My jeep was delivered within the time frame they explained, which was the following Friday 8/10 cleaned and in excellent condition. I received my tag and paperwork about a month after the Jeep was delivered. I have 3 kids so spending 4 hours at a dealership is not fun. I would definitely buy from Vroom again. I hope this review helps others who might be on the fence. (Atlanta, GA)
I had been searching for a vehicle for months. I had a bad experience with one dealership and I honestly was beginning to give up. I saw the vehicle online. We decided to ride down to the dealership to see if the vehicle was still there. It was there and a couple of hours later I was driving it off the lot. The CR-V was very clean. Someone came out to help us as soon as we got out to look at the car. They were not pushy but helpful. The vehicle was everything the internet listed and more. They were very professional and made the difficult task of buying a car pleasant. See Bernie he was fantastic!!
Incredible dealership. We drove 3 hours to see a car we want. Kiara took great care of us and took the time to answer all of our questions. Instead of pressuring us to buy she advised us to pay the remaining 2 lease payments. We will defiantly be back in a couple months.
