Can't go wrong with VW

I have thoroughly enjoyed owning my 2012 VW Passat. Maintenance has been easy and minimal, gas mileage is good, interior feels like good quality and comfortable.
I mainly bought the Passat over the Jetta for two reasons:
1 - I'm 6'3 and even with the driver's seat positioned how I want, a similarly tall person can sit behind me.
2 - the inline 5 is just as responsive as the 2.0T with less maintenance.
Note: due to living in a colder climate, I cannot go 10k miles between oil changes. The oil filter crushes itself if I wait that long.
We purchased our 2012 VW Passat S 2.5Ltr 5 cylinder in November 2014 used, It was previously a leased car, We fell in love with it almost right away. PROS: She is Good looking, Comfortable, Has a cavernous trunk area, Made even larger by folding rear seats, Massive amount of rear seat room even with the driver seat all the way back to the stops. Plenty of storage space on doors with a console main glove box and drivers mini glove box. Handles the mountainous roads where we live with ease. Has plenty of power and is fairly quick for a car of this nature. I love the 6 speed automatic transmission with sport setting, The ability to manually shift the car is definitely a plus when passing , Brakes are ample. AC is always more than cold enough and the heat is always there fairly quickly in winter, Fuel economy is really good in this car. a fillup lasts well over expected mileage with today's ridiculous gas prices. We run synthetic oil and are religious with maintenance . You care for this car properly and she will take you far. The stereo system is killer . The in car phone system is a blessing. hands free except for pushing the buttons on the steering wheel to make the call or answer the call. It works right through the radio . CONS; The cabin filter gets wet when going through a car wash and after a while begins to stink. (Easily changed around 12-15 dollars) The exhaust system parts are ridiculously expensive if you are looking to change the muffler (3 - 600 dollars for the massive muffler in front of the rear axle with a resonator at the back brakes rotors plugs etc are however reasonably priced) The push to open gas door becomes a PIA if the plastic latch isn't working properly and you have to pound on it sometimes to access the gas cap for filling.
I visited Napleton's Schaumburg Mazda based on a very appealing cars.com post of a Honda CRV. We were unsure of having to drive a hour to get there but the price and the way they followed up instantly after requesting more information made us feel more comfortable taking the drive there. Upon arrival we were instantly greeted by Jarek Muszkatel, who I want to point out is an excellent salesman and Jonathan Proano, the sales manager who also went above and beyond to make everything as smooth as possible. We inquired about the vehicle, and after inspecting it, it was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. We took it out for a test drive with Jarek and as soon as we got in the car he have us tips on what to look for and what to listen for when drive testing a car, it was basically the same thing we were already looking at but coming from the salesman was more reassuring he even offered a longer test drive if we wanted more time to listen to the vehicle. We were already happy with how the car looked and how it drove and after visiting dealer after dealer we knew weren’t going to find better.
The paperwork process was a breeze, there was a couple things we had to figure out but Jarek and Jonathan were very understanding and worked with us all the way through. I could not be happier with our purchase and highly recommend Napleton's Schaumburg Mazda.

This a great car. A performance diesel that gets amazing fuel mileage. Clean and in very good shape. Almost all freeway miles. Drove to Seattle and back to Boise for $68.00.
This was the best decision i ever made. Great Car and no problems I have had it now for 6 years- around 92 k miles.. and all i do is change the Engine Oil on time.. I recently changed all lights to LED.. and installed FOG lights too.. it looks better than New :)
Debbie always takes excellent care of me and my family. She sold us our last car and was awesome. So when we were looking for another vehicle, of course I came looking for Debbie. She genuinely wants to get you the best deal and does what she can to make it happen. Thank you for making a big purchase enjoyable and easy!

This car has met all the things I had wanted, roomy and comfy. This car drives very well and offers all the gadgets of a high-end car.
Thank you so much for making it possible. My credit is pretty bad but these guys made it work. Karina was amazing and did not push me to buy the car like any other sales person world. Bought 2016 BMW 435 I’m really happy.
