An excellent experience!

I visited Sheehy VW a couple of times during my car-buying process. My family has purchased multiple cars from Sheehy Ford, so when I started looking into buying a VW we went to Sheehy first. During my first visit, Charles was happy to take me on a test drive in a VW Golf Wolfsburg and explained the features of the car, but didn't pressure me into buying while I was still in my research phase. So I felt pretty comfortable coming back to Sheehy VW when I decided the Golf was the right car. When we arrived, Charles was working with another customer, and when it became clear that it would take some time, he came out to where we were browsing the lot to introduce another salesperson, Ron, who was also wonderful. Ron took me for a longer test drive, and didn't rush me in trying out the car on different kinds of roads. I'm pretty picky about colors, so after deciding to buy the car, Ron was happy to look into acquiring the exterior/interior color combo I wanted, which was not on the lot. After securing the car, we discussed numbers. The whole discussion was very transparent; he showed me a draft invoice with the car price, discounts and rebates, service package fees, dealer prep fees, etc included, so I knew the bottom line price was really the bottom line price. He worked with me to get the best deal on the car. Next it was time to sign contracts with Paul, who was very friendly. He made sure we understood what we were getting with the service package we had selected, and helped us pick a different one when we realized we weren't getting what we thought we were. He made sure to write down the numbers and details of a few different packages so we could easily compare. He also explained how biweekly payments work, to help me pay down the car a little faster and pay a little less interest. All in all, I walked out with an excellent deal, and the negotiation process was very transparent. I look forward to bringing my car back for its regular servicing.
