If you prefer dealing with a courteous, respectful, knowledgeable, fair-minded, "quick-to-the-point" automotive sales team, we confidently recommend that you check out Virginia Select Auto Sales (VSA) whenever you're in the market for a quality used car at a fair price. The VSA sales team truly puts into practice the positive business philosophy described on their website. Our buying experience at VSA was extraordinarily pleasant because we were treated with respect by each team member encountered. "High-pressure"/"shell game" sales tactics were non-existent!! Instead, each member of the VSA organization we encountered demonstrated a genuine understanding of the importance of customer appreciation & a desire to completely assist us. Our high regard for VSA is validated by subsequent accounts that share a few highlights of our "VSA" buying experience. Prior to officially visiting Virginia Select Auto (VSA) we had searched the Internet for well-optioned, low-mileage 2016 Ford Explorers & test driven examples at competing vendors. We had also made two (2) "Sunday, off-hour" visits to VSA for cursory inspections of candidate vehicles. These experiences, coupled with prior online research, acquainted us with the fair market value of our "Trade-In" and the vehicle we sought. Upon our arrival, Customer Service Representative, Damian Garrett came from the sales studio to promptly & courteously greet us (attentiveness even before we could finish exiting our vehicle)!! His comprehensive knowledge/explanation of the features/options of the subject vehicle were extremely refreshing & helpful. Our "test drive" was not restricted to a limited-distance, "cold engine", slow-speed, punctuated "ride around the block". Instead, we were encouraged to thoroughly evaluate the vehicle's performance under operating scenarios we felt were important. All of our questions & concerns were acknowledged and appropriate follow-up with other VSA team members was made as soon as we returned to the showroom. After: 1) An explanation of procedures & policies VSA employs regarding selection & purchase of one of their vehicles; 2) An introduction to available extended warranty programs; and; 3) Completion of customer identification paperwork, we were introduced to Jerry Williams (Sales Manager), who handled presentation of the purchase proposal & negotiation of the final vehicle purchase agreement. Jerry Williams also greeted us with respect & courtesy throughout the negotiating process which was cut to the chase immediately after our initial counter proposal (no long, arduous, anger-provoking, back & forth negotiating iterations here!!). He thoroughly explained the basis for VSA's initial sales agreement proposal, identified what was acceptable in our opinion, and successfully worked with his upper management to make possible acquisition of the vehicle under terms we felt were fair & amenable to both parties. It was great to reach a final agreement without VSA going through annoying, intermediate attempts at making an agreement that we were not going to feel comfortable with!!! after amenable sales terms were reached, Jerry introduced us to Blake Howery (Finance Director). Blake tailored our extended warranty program review to options we had previously expressed interest in and didn't waste our time going through undesired alternatives. His explanations and answers to our questions clarified our understanding of the warranty offers at issue and aided our decision -making process. Subsequently, the purpose of each sale-related paperwork element was thoroughly explained before it was presented to us for signature. Adequate opportunity for questioning was afforded throughout the process. Finally, while Damian was installing our license plates & helping us transfer personal belongings to our newly-purchased vehicle, another VSA staff member (with whom we had no direct contact on the showroom floor) also congratulated us on our purchase!! The Terry dealership is a lovely, friendly, welcoming and very customer-service-oriented place to buy a car. I feel very fortunate that a friend recommend them to me because a usually stressful search for a new car was so very easy and unexpectedly even enjoyable. Sales person, Darren Miller, treated me more like a friend than just a customer and answered all my questions and concerns to help me choose the right car for my needs. The sales transaction and paperwork were easy and without pressure of any kind. I highly recommend this dealership and feel it is well worth the 50 mile drive from my home for the confidence, reliability and peace of mind I experienced here. I have been told their service department is also top notch, so I look forward to a continued great relationship. I'm grateful for the opportunity to buy my care here.

I got this car because I wanted a midsize SUV with plenty of cargo space for travel. It has that as well as plenty of leg room for passengers. There are three USB ports and a vent in the back for AC and heat. I also love the moon roof. This car checked off all the boxes I wanted in a midsize SUV.

I live in Indiana. Noticed I was having trouble with my wheel upon my return from dinner to my motel in Virginia last month. My wheel was cooking, crackling, sizzling, with excessive heat coming from it. I didn't know what was wrong but knew something was up. Since I'm from out of state and a woman, I always fear getting taken advantage of from mechanics and dealerships. Believe me...I've been to some Kia dealerships that yanked my chain. Luckily...the night guy at my motel was out smoking...I called him over to my car. He expressed his opinion and said "yeah..you need to get that looked at." He suggested Kia of Lynchburg. I expressed my concern about being taken advantage of, but he assured me---it was a good dealership. He was right. I had gone online to make an appt. the night before. Tried this with another dealership the day before for a broken wheel bearing and they had NO appts. available til 5 days later. I found that hard to believe. Another example of having my chain yanked. But that was a different car issue that I had fixed elsewhere...I digress. It was 11pm, but made an online appt. for that morning at Kia of Lynchburg. That morning, I drove the 9.7 miles to the dealership. Christy Herald (service manager) welcomed me and got me in the garage immediately (upon seeing, hearing and feeling my HOT wheel). She and Joe Woods (service advisor) kept me comfortable (in a waiting room where I could work on paperwork), informed (about my car's status), entertained (every now and then with good conversation about the dealership, cars, service and more--never making me feel like I was interrupting their day whenever I wanted to chat), and shuttling me to the local food place across the street to let me get lunch. I met and was introduced to Chester Cook (FI/business manager) and learned all about Mike Schwartz (technician) and his experience in the Kia Technician's competition and how he won for his area of the USA. Very interesting to learn. I was there for several hours, but the time seemed to fly by with the excellent and personable personalities of ALL the employees I came in contact with. Excluding the dealership I purchased my car from in MI...but between about 15ish or more OTHER dealers I've encountered in: FL, OH, IN, VT, ME, MA, NM, IA, PA, TX, other part of VA, OK, NE, and other states I can't recall at this time....THIS dealership's service center is my all-time favorite one & all-time favorite dealership experience. I highly recommend the service and treatment you receive from this dealership. Outside of my own dealership, I can't say I've had a better time & overall experience at any other dealership than here!! I'm very glad I came here and got my frozen caliper fixed. I'm sorry that I can't recall who the mechanic was who worked on my car, but whomever it was--the job was done right and fast!
