An excellent SUV

My wife had a 9 year old BMW X5 Diesel and the car was fine but the insides of the car (interior) was falling apart around her so we went car shopping. We looked at all the usual stuff. New Audi Q5, Mercedes GLE, BMW X5. Her only requirements were white and it had to have AC seats. We drove all the cars and we thought the Toureg drove the best. It had the tightest steering as its the only one of the 3 that is still hydraulic vs. electronic therefore it was tighter. Not as tight as her old BMW but the best of the 3. The car drives great, handles fine for a SUV, is a good size and has all the technology on it. We got the Executive edition therefore it has AC and heated seats, heated steering wheel, and all the new technology such as blind spot, camera's, etc. If I had to have one beef it would be the gas mileage. Just okay, and not very good. 17 in town and 23 on the highway. None of them get great mileage but the VW might be the worst of the 3. All the other cars equally equipped where $60-$70K. This car is $62K but they are selling new one's for $50K and slightly used ones (still 2017) for $40K. You just can't beat this car for the price. Now will it last 9 years like the BMW, who know, we will see, but so far so good. By buying a 2017 with a few miles on it, its just a lot of car for the money.
