Professional buying Experience

I initially talked with Harold - Sale Manager about the Volvo XC70 that was for sale. Harold was well versed in he many features the vehicle was equipped with. A few days later on Saturday I again called the dealership to inquire whether the XC70 I was interested in was still available. I talked with salesman Mike Mullen. Mike said it was still available. He said the dealership was closed the next day, a Sunday. He said if we would like to drive down from NH, about a 2 1/2 hour drive, he would come in and meet us and show us the vehicle. We met Mike at the dealership the next day. The vehicle was parked near the entrance and ready to go. Mike answered all our questions. Both my wife and I drove the XC70. We were pleased with the vehicle and proceeded to talk numbers with Mike. After some negotiation we decided to purchase the vehicle. We were surprised that a down payment was not required. Mike said our word that we would purchase the vehicle would hold the vehicle, impressive! The dealership financial person Laurie called me the next day and we finalized the financial arrangements and delivery date. All the paperwork was FedX ed to us so another long ride to the dealership was not necessary. The vehicle was delivered to us in NH. I was very impressed with Mike's attention to detail and attentiveness. I requested the mechanical history of the XC70 which Mike provided to us. We asked that the XC70 be detailed inside and out, it was impeccable when we took delivery of the vehicle in NH. We highly recommend Mike. The Volvo facility was beautiful and very modern, a pleasant place to do business. Mike utilized a large TV sized computer display to display the costs associated with the sale of the XC70 to us. The entire sales experience starting was a conversation with Harold, the sales manager, working with Mike, Laurie - finance, and even the runner Jerry was very professional.
