Sales team is awesome.. service & repairs is awful

Oh the service shop really needs to improve. I bought a new xc90 2018 from sandberg volvo; it was a loaner and interiors were smelling bad. Sales guys promised that car will be detailed and there would not be any trace of foul smell. I took the delivery on 10/10/2018 and that foul smell was replaced by another smell that kept giving me migrane. I went back to sandberg and they worked on that odor to replace it with another bad odor that didnt give me migrane but my wife wouldnt sit in the car or take it out with her friends feeling ashamed of that odor. It has been almost a month now and sandberg has still not resolved it. I love the car but find volvo service totally unacceptable. would not recommend others. Such a fine car but poor volvo service is doing a favor to its competition.
I received excellent service today from Winston Felix, who was recommended to me by a friend who also got excellent service. I got a good deal on a newer model with low mileage. Satisfied customer. I recommend Winston and Sandberg. We worked together since July with multiple visits to find what I needed. NO pressure, felt comfortable. Patience has paid off.
You must see Brian and Connie to buy your next Volvo, and make the specific request to work with Amy in finance to do your paperwork. Amy made the final part really seamless. Brian knows everything about Volvo and Connie makes you feel like the red carpet has been rolled out for one of the major purchases in your life. Very happy and we love our brand new XC90.
Bryan was awesome! He explained everything my car went through; even when she didn’t want to cooperate! I was given a courtesy vehicle until my car was finished! No problems or hassles! I love my Volvo S90!! Thank you!
So nice of Ravenna Volvo technicians to help me with spur of the moment stop to get new windshield wipers. They got me right in and washed the car to boot. Couldn’t be more helpful with answering some questions and looking up my service history. Very pleased. That’s why I keep going back.
I ordered the car Because they didn’t have it. It took 3 months but the alsways kept me informed at every step or change in status. They took very good care of me. We Jen I revived the car they made a very easy process. We took more than an hour to go to every feature of the new car.
