After recently having my second child, I wanted to lower my overhead and trade in my BMW X5. I've always been a Beemer girl, but Volvo has been on my radar due to safety, and I really like the style of the new cars coming out. I searched every Volvo dealership in SoCal trying to find the price I wanted for the XC60 - better than just the national offering. Santa Monica Volvo had a great lease deal online, but when I called, they had (that day) leased the car I wanted. I was about to give up, when John called me back with a great deal on a different XC60. Since I had the day off from work, I came in the next morning to complete my lease. I can't say enough FANTASTIC things about the staff! I came on my own with the 5 year old and 7 month old baby (I know, not wise but I didn't have anyone to watch them - hubs was at work). Immediately, my 5 year old started getting antsy and wanted to watch my phone. When the guys overheard, they turned on the showroom TV to Disney Junior so she could be occupied while I worked out the remaining details of the deal. They had snacks in the mini kitchen to keep her from getting "hangry", too (both fruit and donuts - perfect!). As far as the deal, Eric was such a cool guy and went above and beyond to make the numbers work for me. I couldn't be more appreciative. Michael in Finance was awesome, too, and made the paper signing process quick and painless. I was in a rush, since I had another engagement that afternoon, and drove off without my registration. Instead of having to go all the way to the dealership (I was already at the 405 on ramp), Mike met me close to the freeway and put the reg sticker on my car. Now that's customer service! My experience from start to finish was absolutely top notch, and I love my new car. SM Volvo has definitely earned some good word-of-mouth, and a repeat customer!
