The seats are very comfortable. It drives like a sedan, but has SUV ground clearance making rough roads easy to drive on without sacrificing handling. The ride is also comfortable and quiet. The cargo space is bigger than it appears and comes in handy.

My first XC was a 2004 V70 XC...sold it to a friend when it had a 140K miles. He still has it and it just surpassed 300K miles. My 2015 XC70 does everything well. It's comfortable. It's reliable. The turbo boosts power without lag. It's a great highway car. The technology is amazing without being overpowering.

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

Buying a car is stressful even if you have a lot of experience. Historically, it has been time consuming, emotionally taxing and most of us go into a dealership with far less knowledge than we ought for a purchase of the magnitude of a car. Salespeople have (understandable) pressures to move inventory and even the most fair-minded is looking to get the highest price they can get away with. It is harrowing at best. With my experience with Carvana, all of these stresses were eliminated. I browsed inventory as widely or narrowly as I wanted, for as long as I needed. I could dictate pricing ranges that were suitable for me. The car I received was *exactly* the car I examined online, right down to some inconsequential bumper scuffs. Beyond this, and *absolutely unlike* any other online business, I could speak to a *real human being* within a few minutes of calling (I had six or seven conversations with Carvana agents over the 3 1/2 weeks from car selection to car receipt). They either had the answers at hand, or researched them and replied promptly with a follow up call. Delivery coordination and drop off (and test drive) were *painless no pressure* experiences???all preparatory contract paperwork was prepared in advance leaving only title transfer stuff to take care of. It took 45 minutes, tops. (I transacted entirely in cash, so I cannot speak to the process when there is financing.) Honestly, the biggest delay was on *my* end getting the insurance transferred (having to wait on hold with my insurance company for 15 minutes). The car was 100% was described???absolutely no surprises. The images on the web site for my car were not stock images. What I saw was what I got. Naturally, it was clean, filled up with a full tank, with new tires and the whole nine yards. Even got a ???free??? Carvana reusable coffee cup and key chain. Nice touch. The part that I found the most extraordinary was the 7-day money-back guarantee, which pretty much covers a change of mind unless you get into an accident or drive it a ton (over 400 miles, and even then, they???ll take it back after a modest per-mile-over-400 charge). All in all, I was dreading buying a car (and selling my used one) and Carvana made it pleasurable. I am absolutely recommending them to all of my friends and coworkers and I hope (as a relatively new company) they keep up the excellent work.

I'm surprised by the review that said there was no follow through. We too were an out of state buyer. The internet based salesperson emailed me regularly, responded quickly, set up a visit and confirmed the visit over the course of the week. She lined us up with a gracious salesperson and he and the sales manager worked hard to make sure they met our numbers.

It began with online inquiry from overseas, from which the model features and terms of sale were laid out clearly and precisely, and by the time of our arrival back in the States everything necessary--financing, preparation, etc--was in place. Given an interstate registration and title (between Massachusetts and New Hampshire) all steps needed to close the sale (title, registration, etc.) were handled by Keene Volvo of NH personnel in two quick visits. It was the smoothest car purchase we've ever made.

That was a walk-in as my check engine light was on for two days. While they were fixing the issue with my engine light, they also took chance to fix the issue of noise and vibration when braking. During the process, the service rep Dave Zelen came to talk to me many times to update me on the status. He also gave me an estimated time of fixing the squeaky noise on both my driver and passenger seat and how to book a loaner car beforehead. Very happy for the services they performed. Dave also emailed me days after to follow up to make sure everything went well.

First we got the best car we have ever had. I am 64, & my wife is 78...so that is saying something! But then to only need a service once a year compared to the old days of every 4-6 months is really awesome! But then to have been able to but this 2016 Volvo XC-70 at 0% interest, and all these services are free is something that is truly extraordinary. It has felt like we won the lottery with every aspect of the Volvo, Secor sales, & service dealership. Everyone had been kind, very friendly, knowledgeable, and well trained in terms of customer service. The cherry on top of everything I have already said is that you also washed & vacuumed the car with every one of our services! WOW!!! We have told and shown our car to many hundreds of our friends & family—letting them know how wonderful this Volvo & Secor dealership experience has been! Thank you so much! Going through the process of buying a car sucks. If you actually enjoy it, then I can only assume you like other fun things like paying taxes, unclogging toilets, and papercuts. I was perfectly content with my awesome VW TDI until the whole Dieselgate scandal went down. Even then, I would've bought another VW with my buyout money, until I saw this Ford Fusion Sport. Awesome car, but was it enough for me to switch? It was when I saw the listing from Prestige Volvo for a used, 2017. First thing I noticed is that is was the lowest priced 2017 Ford Fusion Sport on a nationwide search using one of the car apps. The other thing was that it had all the options. Ok, it doesn't have the Active Park Assist, where it parks the car for you. That's fine since I've known how to park a car for years now. But all the bells and whistles, and the lowest price? Had to be a catch somewhere. I sent an email asking for more info, and Tina (AKA Lady Fantastic) was in touch with me almost immediately. She took the time to do TWO video walkarounds of the car. She showed every inch of the exterior and interior, twice. Two times. She did this in a walking boot, having sustained a foot injury while saving some nuns from a group of muggers using her kickboxing skills. Oh, it's true. The listing also had the Carfax readily available to inspect. I asked her to send me a breakdown of the total price, all in. Very standard stuff. Taxes, title, tags, and the $399 processing fee was super reasonable (I've seen dealers with a processing fee of $1000+) No catches. Just a great price, on what was looking like a great car. Savvy me decided to negotiate for the next scheduled maintenance to be done before I agreed to buy. Tina called me and said that it had already been done, AND they put new brakes on its front and rear. I'll just shut up now and hand you my money. We agreed to meet up on a Wednesday evening. Delays caused me to get there a little before 9 pm. They close at 8, and although I am certain everyone wanted to go home after a long day, Tina and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and inviting. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes and driving my Ford Fusion home. I had told Tina the day before that after I picked up the car, I was driving straight to White Castle for celebratory burgers. And guess what? She actually plugged it into the GPS so when I fired up the car for the first time, it was ready to take me right there. Yep. Oh, did I mention that I came up from the Washington D.C. area to buy this car? I did because that was the level of service and care I received from Tina and the rest of Prestige Volvo. Let me also mention that they are reimbursing my taxi fare from the airport, AND when I arrived, Tina told me that she accidentally did the calculations wrong and she overquoted me by $90. Most dealers would keep their mouths shut and pocket the money. Not Tina. Top notch, and high class all the way. If you're in the market for a new car and are within a reasonable distance from East Hanover, NJ, take my advice and contact Prestige Volvo and ask for Tina. If you don't, then you aren't very smart and I can't help you. The car's amazing by the way.

I brought my 2008 V-70 in with a rear suspension problem. Service originally misdiagnosed problem as needing rear shocks which were put in - did not cure noise problem. Ultimately diagnosed as rear trailing arm bushing which was replaced at no extra charge. So, they effected an unnecessary repair but ate the cost. Was totally satisfied with their approach at fixing the situation even if the repair took longer that it should have. I appreciated the loaner vehicle and would definitely continue to return for future service and possible purchase of next vehicle.

This is my second XC70. I wish it had the powerful 6cylindar engine of my 2009 Volvo. I am also wishing it had the quiet ride of the 2009 XC70. The highway noise at freeway speeds makes conversation more difficult. I love all the safety features and beautiful leather interior. It seems that the 2016 is not as well put together as the 2009 model.

When we heard that Volvo was ending this model we decided that we wanted to acquire one. We'd been fortunate enough to have been driving Volvos AWD wagons since 2001; this being our third xc70. There's just no other brand we've owned previously or additionally that has been as solidly built, dependable, comfortable, versatile and plain enjoyable as these cars. Our 2001 is still a daily driver with just under 198k miles.

Our Volvo XC60 would not start. I called our regular Volvo dealer (Kundert Volvo englewood) and they were swamped on Friday July 1 and I was unable to bring in. Angel suggested I call the hasbrouck heights service since they would be open last Saturday (July 2) . I spoke with Chip/Jim ( honestly I am unsure which bc my toddler was screaming at me) who said he would squeeze me in and help me out the best he could. I just needed to get car there by the morning. Volvo road service sent a tow truck at 8:30am and Chip/Jim called me when the car arrived and said he would call me after he took a look at car. Car probably arrived there around 10am. He called me at 11:30am and she car was fixed. The battery was defective and he switched to a new battery. Everything was covered under warranty so he said I could pick up my car anytime before they closed at 4:45pm. My husband picked up car and Chip explained how he knew it was the battery and not the alternator. we were very happy with our experience.. Just wish it was closer to our house.

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

Fantastic Experiene purchasing a new car

On the spur-of-the-moment we decided to trade-in our 2012 S80 for a new S90. Our S80 was in the shop at Smythe to have a bent rim repaired after an encounter with a pothole. We looked at the inventory on Smythe's website and called the sales department. Fortunately for us Deborah Amster answered our call and voila - in a couple of hours we had negotiated for a 2018 S90 Inscription model! Two days later in a snowstorm we returned to Smythe and Deborah delivered the car, She set up and explained all the bells and whistles to make the computerized car be as close as possible to the 2012 model. Happily we drove home. We had a few questions about the Apps and icons on the instrument panel which she explained over the phone. After a couple of weeks driving it, we returned to Smythe to have the plates put on and collect the title. She "fixed" the Sirius favorites, answered a few more questions and again we happily drove it home. Dealing with Deborah and Smythe was a pleasure. Easiest car purchase ever.. We;re in our mid/late 70's and this will probably be our last car. We may not purchase another, but look forward to having the excellent service department take care of everything. We've dealt with Smythe for more than 10 years and would not want to see another dealer. Thanks very much Deborah for making this purchase so easy. Frank & Linnea Ditchey
