My old car was my third minivan in 15 years. Now that my kids are older and leaving for college, I wanted something that could carry 6 or 7 passengers but was ... well... NOT a minivan. I did some research on late model used three-row SUVs, and found the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. (My favorite of my three vans was a 2005 Nissan Quest, so choosing Nissan was easy for me.) Before I started browsing for cars, I applied for credit through Carvana, and was approved. Next, I entered in all of the information about the van I was trading for the Pathfinder. (Beware -- the trade-in amount is only good for 7 days, and it can change wildly in that time!) I was pleased with the trade amount, and it was great that I could shop for my new car and see my down payment and monthly payment for every car I viewed! My specifications were pretty clear -- AWD, less than 10,000 miles, and never a rental car. I found my dream car a few days later, and started the purchase process. It was quite smooth and the directions were very clear about what documents need to be uploaded. When I went to click on "finalize purchase" (or something like that), a red flag popped up...my trade-in value expired WHILE I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF CHECKING OUT! I got on chat with Carvana staff right away, and they were able to return the trade in value to NEARLY what it was before the expiration. This is something that needs to be addressed by Carvana -- once a customer is to a certain point in the process, those numbers need to be frozen. So we set a delivery time, and the Carvana rep was pretty much on time considering he was traveling 70 miles or so from the Chicago office. Everything was smooth -- signed a couple more papers, took my Pathfinder for a spin, Eric inspected my trade, and I left within 30 minutes with my new car. I would also like to add that I drove directly to my mechanic, so he could inspect the car and make sure I wasn't buying something with hidden damage. This is a review of my SELLING experience to Carvana. I listed my car on Craigslist and was approached by an outsider buyer named Jan. She introduced me to Carvana, which I never heard of before, and it's process. She was very helpful and walked me through the process. The first deciding factor for selling to them was that they offered me the best price (vs. CarMax, Auto Nation, Trur Car). Then I realized the process was super streamlined. All I had to do was upload my documents and, after approval, schedule an appointment for the pickup of my car. Carvana sent a truck to COME TO ME to pick up the car. The driver (Lauren?) was very courteous and pleasant to work with, too. The pickup process, which included a one-mile test drive, took no longer than 20-30 minutes. Immediately after loading my car to their truck, I was handed the check, which I immediately deposited without any issues. My selling experience from being contacted by buyer to getting the check took just 10 days! (Would've been even faster if I was more timely with uploading my docs.) I'd highly recommend Carvana for selling your cars!

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

We bought our first XC90 in 2004 and drove it for 150K miles. It was so great that we traded it in and bought a new XC90 2012. The new 2012 has more features than the 2004 and cost less. My wife is a Real Estate Broker and spends a lot of time in this vehicle. It has the third row seats which are great when you have to drive six people around. It is absolutely terrific in snow nothing stop it. The only issue we have with it is trying to figure out the audio system,which includes Sirius, Bluetooth we use for phone, and a USB connection. There is also a place on the console for what looks like a connection to plug in an Iphone to listen to music or whatever but it does not seem to do anything. Volvo should have included a DVD to explain all the features. So if you are looking for a dependable vehicle to drive in the snow and don't mind that it only gets 19MPG around town get this car. Our 2004 averaged 18MPG around town.

Well maybe, or of course it's a Volvo! But don't be fooled because the Volvo XC90 has been around since 2003 and has no redesign yet, but each year the XC90 gets better and better. With the 2012 Volvo XC90 a face-lift front facial, some new body works but not much. As well is in the interior bluetooth and a auto-dimming rearview mirror. My mother just bought a 2012 and it's very good with performance with a 3.2L I6 (240-hp) also 0-60 time about 7.4. The 2012 Volvo XC90 is a a best bet for a 3 row luxury SUV!

I was concerned about low tire pressure in my 2017 Rav4, so I brought it in yesterday to get the tires checked before a 540 mile drive. Not only did they check all my tires and bring them up to 36 psi, but they checked everything else and gave it a wash and gave me peace of mind - and it was free. The service is outstanding and there is nowhere else in Doylestown that is the equal of Thompson Toyota.

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

My old car was my third minivan in 15 years. Now that my kids are older and leaving for college, I wanted something that could carry 6 or 7 passengers but was ... well... NOT a minivan. I did some research on late model used three-row SUVs, and found the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. (My favorite of my three vans was a 2005 Nissan Quest, so choosing Nissan was easy for me.) Before I started browsing for cars, I applied for credit through Carvana, and was approved. Next, I entered in all of the information about the van I was trading for the Pathfinder. (Beware -- the trade-in amount is only good for 7 days, and it can change wildly in that time!) I was pleased with the trade amount, and it was great that I could shop for my new car and see my down payment and monthly payment for every car I viewed! My specifications were pretty clear -- AWD, less than 10,000 miles, and never a rental car. I found my dream car a few days later, and started the purchase process. It was quite smooth and the directions were very clear about what documents need to be uploaded. When I went to click on "finalize purchase" (or something like that), a red flag popped up...my trade-in value expired WHILE I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF CHECKING OUT! I got on chat with Carvana staff right away, and they were able to return the trade in value to NEARLY what it was before the expiration. This is something that needs to be addressed by Carvana -- once a customer is to a certain point in the process, those numbers need to be frozen. So we set a delivery time, and the Carvana rep was pretty much on time considering he was traveling 70 miles or so from the Chicago office. Everything was smooth -- signed a couple more papers, took my Pathfinder for a spin, Eric inspected my trade, and I left within 30 minutes with my new car. I would also like to add that I drove directly to my mechanic, so he could inspect the car and make sure I wasn't buying something with hidden damage. Mechanic said to me, "This car is perfect, like new." Just what I wanted to hear. Thanks Carvana! I am telling everyone I know about you guys. Good to work with you! Janet - 2017 Nissan Pathfinder

After an unplanned for 'death' of our beloved minivan, we set out to find a replacement vehicle. The goal - find a used vehicle in good condition with as few miles as possible, AWD/4WD and some sort of warranty - oh yeah, 10k, or less. This was no easy feat given our current financial situation and the market for used vehicles. After combing through a ton of listings online, my wife and I narrowed it down and started visiting dealerships. If you have ever visited used car lots, you will know what I am saying when I tell you that many of them (at least the ones we visited) do not seem to care much about the vehicles they sell, or their customers. The pictures and descriptions did NOT match what we saw and drove in person - not that cosmetics were the top priority, but a car on the lot should be clean and not filled with candy wrappers and food particles, or a rodents nest under the intake manifold. Sheesh. After several unsuccessful and disappointing visits to lots, I drove out to Direct Auto Team to look at a 2008 Jeep Liberty. First impressions - I pulled in and looked at the vehicles on the lot. They were ALL clean. The prices were competitive. The vehicle I was looking at exceeded expectations - low miles, fair price, and super freakin clean. Nick took me for a test drive and the Jeep was perfect - so I met with Dimitry to talk money. Because of our financial woes, I worried that with the money we had to put down, we would not be able to finance, but they work with many creditors and with some considerable effort (thanks again D), Dimitry was able to secure financing to include a 5yr 100k extended warranty. Direct Auto Team also handles the registration process. My wife and I were able to go back the next day to pick up our 'new to us" Jeep Liberty. From start to finish, this process went as smoothly as possible and I enjoyed getting to know Dimitry while there. Good place - good people. Needless to say, we are very happy and highly recommend Direct Auto Team. Even if you do not see exactly what you are looking for, give them a call and I am betting they can find it for you. I kind of dread the used car experience I remember with my parents when I was a kid. I did my research online before I visited the dealership. Had a specific used 2015 Honda Civic in mind, already got pre-approval for the loan from my credit union. Haven't purchased a vehicle in over 10 years, and was pleasantly surprised by the transparency and ease of purchase. Manny was an excellent resource - I'm not too mechanically inclined, so I didn't have too many questions about the performance of the vehicle. We went on a pleasant test drive. I was a little unsure of purchasing the first vehicle I test drove, but it was a certified used vehicle at an excellent price. It had been purchased and serviced at the dealership. The carfax was available online, and Manny also offered me a copy. The internet price was about $1500 less than the sticker price on the lot. No haggling needed. The Sales Manager introduced himself and was very friendly as well. Manny did offer me the extended warranty and gap insurance, but backed off as soon as I turned it down. No pressure. The finance guy was a different story. He was very friendly at first. Though I had financing arranged through my credit union in advance, he still tried to go over the payment options with me and sell me the extended warranty (again) and other options. The price of the warranty went from over $3000 to about $1250 after I declined the first time. Same with the other options (good tip to keep in mind if you do want the extras!). He tried to make me feel like I was making an irresponsible decision by not purchasing the extended warranty, even though my purchase was based on Honda's reputation. I would suppose this guy uses individualized sales techniques based on the customer. I'm a CPA, so I am comfortable with financial decisions and carefully weighed my options before going to the dealership. Probably not the best person to sell extras to. I work hard for my money, and I'm a bit thrifty in my spending. My old car is 14 years old, and I plan on keeping this one for just as long. The finance guy became curt and unfriendly after I turned down the extras a couple times, and made me feel like I was an inconvenience. I understand how commissions and spiffs work, so coming in with outside financing was probably not making this guy much on the sale. He seemed glad to get me out of his office. I do understand that this is his job to sell me extras. I did not trade in my old car as it was going to a family member, so I thought I'd have to get a ride back to pick up the new car. Manny, the salesperson, was kind enough to drive the car from Gresham to my home in SW Portland. He would have hit rush hour traffic heading back to the dealership. I was very appreciative of this extra service.

I love this car, it is comfortable, big enough to haul furniture and Grandkids. Great on gas and long trips.
