My wife and I recently bought a used 2018 S90 T5 Momentum sedan from a Toyota dealership lot, we had no knowledge of how to operate the Audio & Tech Sensus Touchscreen...we wanted someone from a Volvo dealership to show us how to properly operate the different functions of the car so we called Lindsay Volvo and was connected to Mr. Kelvin Fuentes...we set up an appointment and on Saturday 9/22/2018 we had the experience of a lifetime...Mr. Fuentes was very professional and knowledgeable in explaining every detail of the Audio & Tech Sensus Touchscreen....we went for a drive and even though this car can practically drive itself operator awareness and safety was Mr. Fuentes main priority...Mr. Fuentes also installed the Volvo app on my IPhone and through that app was able set up remote engine start, "WOW" how cool is that for modern technology. Mr. Fuentes went above and beyond the norm of customer service....it was greatly appreciated...My wife and I can now better enjoy all the bells and whistles that the S90 Volvo offers because we have been properly schooled. "Great Job Sir".
Excellent car but serious design flaw for towing

By far best interior, exterior, ride comfort but no manual overide to change gear to neutral or disengage parking brakes for towing when batteries dead. In 6 months from purchase barreries died while my car was in my garage face in, in parking gear with parking brakes on while connected with hybrid charging cable. This car has to be flatbed towing due to air suspension. Car was finally towed by the 5th toe provider sent by Volvo emergency roadside assistance and still sustained damage. Only option by towing company was to drag my car out of the garage while in parking gear with parking brakes engaged and then further drag it on to the flat bed tow truck. Good thing that after the refusal of the 3rd tow provider my dealership service manager came to my house and dis engaged the parking brakes and put my car in neutral so it could be towed and still there was damage. This car has $80k sticker. In my opinion a serious design flaw, unreliable Volvo roadside assistance which I later found out is a third party provider contracted by Volvo. They had no idea that this car can not be towed any other way but flatbed. Yes, this was Volvo roadside not AAA...... Bottom line great car as long as the batteries do not die

I used to take my car to DARCARS Volvo, but after 6 failed repairs of the same problem I decided to try Don Beyer. They fixed the problem in one day, and now I trust them completely. Volvo repairs can be expensive regardless of who you go to, but the guys at Don Beyer actually know what they're doing and you can trust them to get the job done right, and that makes all the difference. My service manager (Will) is amazing and as friendly as can be imagined. Forget other dealerships - Don Beyer Volvo is the way to go.

I love driving this vehicle. It had 2 engines . Front Gas powered and Rear Electric Powered. There is immediate power from stopped on starts without hesitation. Has 5 different modes from eco and Hybrid to All Wheel Drive and SPORT mode. Mileage is great at approx 27 to 29 MPG. Plug in recharge is both 110V and 220V so you can plug it in ANYWHERE. The ride as my wife states is like butter.....what ever that means It is SMOOTH and quiet. Has lots of power for pulling trailer / 22 ft Boat and for passing quickly. Love all the safety features from 360 cameras and automatic brakes and side warning alarms. It even steers itself so you stay in your lane and don't wander. Exceptional Car.

My husband and I had a pretty good idea of what type of vehicle we wanted. We used the Off Lease Only website to search their inventory. Because they receive new vehicles on a regular basis, we checked daily until we spotted the car that fit both of our preferences. We made an appointment for a test drive IMMEDIATELY. This dealership does high volume sales, and we did not want to miss out on this car. Dominic was our sales specialist. He was ready for us as soon as we showed up (with our proof of insurance) so we could test drive our 2017 Volvo V60 Wagon Cross Country!! When we came back Amy in finance assisted us. She???s assisted us with all 3 cars we purchased at Off Lease Only. She really puts her heart into getting the best rate for her clients and showed us all of our extended warranty options. Everything was easy, transparent, and explained clearly. Our Volvo still has 20,000 miles on it before the factory warranty runs out, but that???s only about 1 1/2 years tops. We keep our vehicles a very long time, so we chose the bumper-to-bumper, 8 year plan with a $100. Copay. It only added about $40. a month to the payments. We already knew that if we waited unti the factory warranty ran out, we???d have tough time getting an extended warranty like that one, at a great price. Our experience with Dennis (trade in specialist) was equally outstanding. We were treated very fairly with that part of the process as well. The entire team was awesome and made our experience so much fun!! Thank you Dominic, Amy, Dennis and Paul for another great car buying experience! I will tell all my friends to ask for your team. Ohhh.. I almost forgot to mention... We saved close to $7,000 on our purchase and our beautiful Volvo is in pristine condition! Even our mechanic was happy with our choice. 🤗

So I wasn't a big Volvo fan but when I saw the new XC90s I did a double take. It's a slick looking vehicle especially from the front, the back...ehh it's still growing on me. It actually looks smaller than the SUV is. I purchased a 2016 T8 Inscription which has 400hp and 467 lb. ft. of torque. This is my first hybrid and I must say that I have iffy feelings about it. I added a 240V outlet in my garage to charge the car much quicker than the standard 110V outlet which takes 8+ hours. With the 240 it takes a max of 2 hours. From the 2 hour full charge the SUV gets 18 miles range of electric cruising. I was expecting better, I have a hill coming out of my development every day and when going downhill and towards the freeway literally less than a mile my mileage every morning is down to the 12-13 marker range (once I get on the freeway half a mile away) from the full charge and this isn't even using pure electric mode which I rarely use. For the majority of the time I use Hybrid mode. The SUV is well built but it’s also super heavy which you can most certainly feel when going over bumps in the road. It will remind you that you are carrying a heavy battery in the vehicle which feels awkward and very thumpy fairly often. Aside from that when you have it in performance mode, this baby really moves. Now, it’s not a SRT8 Jeep Grand Cherokee but it’s decent, that is until the battery is gone which depletes super fast in performance mode. Yes, it has regenerative braking which charges the battery when you brake or the engine brakes however it’s nowhere near enough energy needed to generate electric power to go a somewhat decent distance. I have yet to even squeeze a mile out of regenerative braking. The key fob is really neat looking with leather and buttons on the side. It was designed for exclusivity and to prevent accidental pressing of the key fob while in your pocket. To me the keys along the side of the remote feel cheap and it’s a little annoying trying to press them, maybe it's just me and my big hands. Another thing that I find just downright asinine is the fact that the car needs to be plugged in, in order to precondition or warm up or cool down the car. The car will not remote start unless plugged in which makes no sense especially on days like today when I am at work with no charging station and the temperature is 16 degrees’. In conclusion the XC90 is a solid, abundantly tech rich luxury vehicle. Yes, luxury vehicle now with the appointments and interior that's second to none. I would certainly purchase another one, I would NOT purchase another T8 Hybrid though especially considering the premium over the T6. It's just not worth the price in my opinion.

This is my second attempt to send A+ praise. On the 3rd of April 2018 I drove off the lot in my brand new 2018 Volvo. I wish to take this opportunity to express my appreciation for the folks at Volvo Cars, Silver Spring, MD for their excellent efforts in assisting me with this, my "bucket list " purchase. Special thanks and appreciation are offered to Mr. Samuel Soroka, Sales & Leasing Consultant as well as to Mr. Robert Booska, Service Advisor. I initially met Sam in mid January 2018 and stated my interest in purchasing a Volvo SUV. I had accomplished some studying and had a pretty good idea of what I wanted. I pointed out that I was not in a rush to buy. Sam understood and from that point there was never any sales pressure (which was appreciated). We set about the task of reviewing all of the specifications, costs, material and purchase options, estimated delivery date(s) and final vehicle transfer requirements. During the test drive of another XC60 in got to experience many of the features that until then were just words or video descriptions. Needless to say, I purchased serveral options. Sam was very knowledgeable at explaining all of the new and technical capabilities and very patient at ensuring I understood their functionalities. Admittedly, I'm still on the learning curve and will be for a while as I continue to enjoy the sensations of learning something new each time I master the use of another XC60 feature. In that light, this Volvo will be "new" for a long time. When delivery day arrived (Tue, 3APR18), Sam was kind enough to assist me with a transportation problem. He agreed and actually picked me from the Silver Spring Metro Station in his privately owned Volvo and brought me to the dealership where the finalities were conducted. It was during this time that I was also introduced to Mr. Booska. We reviewed and signed all of the appropriate paperwork and I was provided with a very clear and concise explanations regarding the financing and servicing requirements. Before departing, Sam sat with me in my new Volvo and took the time to ensure I was comfortable and pleased with my vehicle and with the entire transaction.
