This was my first and only Volvo purchase.
This was my first and only Volvo purchase. Very comfortable Inscription trim and the power from the B6 was great. However reliability is questionable. The air conditioning and electronics stopped working on the first day in the 90s. I read other reviews about this and ignored it but I guess I should not have. How terrible to not have air when you need it most. I’ve read others have the same issue and the dealers can’t fix it. The user interface is terrible Really disappointed in what is supposed to be a luxury car. The car does not retain its value either compared to its competitors. Too much risk for me and such a poor experience after owning for only a couple of months. Never again! Back to Honda, Toyota and Lexus for sure!!! Don’t waste your money on a Volvo.

Great car.
Great car. I compare it with a high-end Mercedes that I own, Volvo is generally better built, more comfortable especially on extra long trips, quieter on the road, and intuitive in most use cases. The Bowers and Wilkins sound system is definitely superior to anything I’ve heard in high-end vehicles. The interior design is minimalistic, and the car lacks the prestige that comes with the price. From a reliability stand point, it has never put us down, and has almost completely overcome the early Goole system glitches.

Amazing Car
Just crossed two years and 25,000 miles. LOVE this car. The Google infotainment is well-designed and super easy to access and use. There are redundant options for navigation and I believe the instrument cluster is one of the cleanest and best I've experienced. I have the B5 AWD and acceleration and go is very quick and the car rides effortlessly. The lane keeping and lane centering and semi-autonomous driving on major roads is unobtrustive and quite pleasant. I drove six hours in a rainstorm and the car was more effective at tracking the lane markers than I was. Handling could maybe be more sporty. The 2nd row is very comfortable too. Outside of some early infotainment gremlins that first six months from the new Google system, zero issues of any kind.
