I bought a 2021 Atlas 7 months ago. Now I've been told that my gas tank is deformed and that it is not a manufacturer defect problem. They're telling me that it's very serious My gas tank could explode and blow up in my car could be caught on fire. I do not have the money over $2,000 to get this fixed. I've spent all morning on the phone with Volkswagen customer service corporate number. And was told that because it's not a recall they basically don't care because there's no recall they will not do a thing to help me. I think it's sad that Volkswagen wants to wait until somebody actually blows up in their car and dies and then maybe they'll do recalls. I would not recommend that you buy this vehicle

Horrible customer experience - they refused me a free service. As per the coupon validity, at the time I took it to the dealership, was still valid. I have the coupon with me now and I also have proof of a work order on the same date where they cleared some other faults on the vehicle, however refusing to "service" the vehicle.. Don't purchase these vehicle in the USA, they just might feel a little smooth, but if customer policy is not satisfying, everything else is crap. Does not make sense.

Overall I'm satisfying with the car I have no issue till now the car is running 55,000 mile over, still I don't have any major problem. The space is huge inside that car that is more satisfying even if you sit in the third row and adult person can sit comfortably.
