1996 Ford F-150 – SHOWROOM CONDITION Highlights: 2WD | Single Cab | Long Bed XLT Package with power mirrors, power locks, cruise control Legendary 300ci Inline-6 (“unkillable”) This 1996 F-150 spent 96% of its life in Jackson, Mississippi – a dry, rust-free climate. The moment I got it home, I had the undercarriage professionally rust-proofed by Ziebart. From there, the restoration began with the goal of bringing it back to like-new showroom condition. It turns heads and sparks conversations wherever it goes. This truck would make an incredible showpiece, a dependable workhorse, or, frankly, a vehicle tough enough to survive the zombie apocalypse. I’m not desperate to sell – just downsizing my collection. Lowball offers will be ignored. I’m looking for someone who’ll baby it the way I have. My mom worked for Ford from 89 to 01, she drove me around in an F150 most of my childhood so I’ve always wanted one. Had a big Craigslist come-up with this 168k miles one owner, CA truck. 2wd, 5spd, single cab 4.9 I6. Such a straight forward, friendly, beautiful truck. Badass, cute and cool at the same time. A little patina makes it look even better. Reminds me of my childhood… Exactly what I wanted: a pure truck. An epic time for the USA and Ford. So thankful I found this!

They do not make trucks like this anymore. It is simply one of the easiest vehicles to work on. I get more people stopping me to chat about this truck than almost anything I have ever driven. Thank you Ford!

Can’t Beat The Old Workhorse

So I am 3rd owner, bought it from a friend.It is among frills xl with 4.9 At 285000 with just top end being reworked it just keeps going. The starter died today I pulled it and it still retains the original Ford starter...fixed it and put it back in Fired right off
