Cars.com's Kelsey Mays takes a quick look at the new 2008 Honda Accord coupe.

Hi, I'm Kelsey Mays for cars.com and we're here with the 2008 Honda Accord Coupe. Now, the coupe is a version of the Accord Sedan, which has just been redesigned. And it's intended for buyers who want a sportier driving experience.
The coupe looks a lot like the Accord Sedan up front, although this EX test car has 18 inch wheels. In the back, it looks a lot like the Accord Concept that showed up at the auto show circuit a little while ago. Under the hood is either a four cylinder or in this case, a 3.5 liter V6 with 268 horsepower. (tires screeching) Those who want the sportiest driving experience are gonna want to get a manual transmission. There's a six speed gearbox with the V6, which moves the Accord Coupe pretty well. The shifter itself is a little bit tall, but after all, this is a family car derivative, so what can you expect? And in typical Honda fashion shifts are pretty crisp and precise. Otherwise the interior of the coupe looks a lot like it's four-door counterpart. For more information on that, you can see our full video on the 2008 accord sedan. Now with the manual transmission and the V6 Honda has tuned to coupe to make more power at the low end than the sedan. And it's really quite a fun car to drive. The shifter is engaging and the 18 inch wheels really grip those on-ramps and off-ramps well. <v Narrator>For additional information on this car or any other go to cars.com and our blog kicking tires.
