(upbeat rock music) (upbeat music) Hi, I'm Patrick Olsen managing editor for Cars.com and this is the car that every high school boy has dreamt of. It's the Porsche 911 turbo.
It's got 480 horsepower, it's all wheel drive and it goes from 0-60 in three and a half seconds. Let me tell ya, I've felt it. The 911's always been a leader in technology in terms of it's engine and just in recent years Porsche has really improved the interiors. They've got very elegant and classic gauges. They've got this really nice leather with stitching on the dash. They've also added navigation in the last couple of years and the coolest thing, a chronometer, so you can time yourself as you're going around the track. Porsche's put as much thought into safety as they have into the engine and the interior. There's massive brakes to slow you down and some things you can't see and hopefully will never need but these are roll bars that pop up in case your car starts to roll. And in the back, the spoiler raises when you're going faster to help you keep stability. So driving a Porsche 911 is not like driving a lot of other performance cars. This car is actually very comfortable, very easy to drive. (car whooshes) Its got unbelievable zip and acceleration but you don't feel every single pothole in the road and every little ripple but you surely know that you're in control of the car. Some performance cars you feel like you're riding on a rollercoaster. You're up and down with every bump. The 911 though, let's you know that where the road is and what the conditions are like but you're not feeling it every time in your back or in your shoulders. It's got a great speed and shifting. You hardly notice it at all and you can get from 0-60 in an unbelievably short amount of time. <v Narrator>For additional information on this car or any other, go to Cars.com and our blog Kicking Tires.
