<v Announcer>cars.com auto review. Hi, this is Joe Bruzek from cars.com. We're here with the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG. Now, in the last year, we've seen the more mundane version of E-Class redesigned. This is the hot rod version.
(engine rumbles) From the moment you fire this up, (engine roars) you know there's something special about it. 6.3 liter V8 makes 518 horsepower in the E 63. What's under the hood isn't the only thing that's special about the E 63. They've also taken away and added a few things. There's side trim that is gone and gives it a much cleaner appearance. They've added these 19 inch wheels. These are part of a optional sports package. And out back, we've got this lower exhaust diffuser, and then the exhaust itself is different. We've got these AMG logo stamped right into the tips. The exhaust doesn't only sound good at start up, it's unique exhaust system to the AMG and it sounds so good. (engine roaring) So, you have a lot of adjustability in this car for the suspension and the transmission. There are numerous modes for each that range from comfort, to sport, to race. And even when suspension is comfort mode, you still know you're driving a performance car. It's still a pretty stiff ride. (trunk thuds) So, how much is all this performance gonna cost you? Starts at $85,000, but this one with all the optional equipment is just over a hundred. <v Announcer>For more car related news, go to cars.com or our blog kickingtires.net.
