From the 2014 New York International Auto Show, Cars.com's Kelsey Mays takes a look at the 2015 Dodge Charger.

(energetic music) Hi, I'm Kelsey Mays from cars.com. And what you see right next to me is not a supersized Dodge Dart. It's actually the Dodge Charger. It's been heavily revised four years into the current generation.
We're here right after Dodge's press conference at the 2014 New York International Auto Show. We're going to take you in for a closer look. Chargers shares its rear drive routes with the Challenger sports car. But while the challenger maintained the retro theme, the charger really went ahead with a lot more slipstream look up here. The hood now really curves around a lot more visually headlights, the grill, the bumper, these are all new updated. In fact, they kind of give the car a fully redesigned looked, even though this is the same generation as it was black grill here on our T models, let's go around and take a look at the rear. And back the charger keeps these LEDs that kind of wrap around in a sort of racetrack motif. Dodge says it chainsawed off the corners of the car. Kids, don't try that at home with the family minivan. Either way, the effect is to make the car look a little more shrink wrapped, and actually smaller in back. The last Charger had a very iconic kind of blocky rear end. This one, not so much. No such overall on the inside where a lot of stuff still sits within this frame that kind of joins the center stack here with the gauges and available 8.4 inch U-connect touchscreen now includes mobile app features things like Pandora, Slacker, iHeartRadio, Aha. There's also small screen here between the gauges. It now has performance pages. So things like G-Force acceleration times and stuff like that. Previously that used to be a feature only on the Charger SRT. Now Dodge says all chargers will get it. Drive trains, carry over with V6 or available Hemi V-8 power, rear wheel drive is standard. All wheel drive is optional. Stay tuned for our driving impressions, closer to the chargers on sale date in summer of 2014.
