From the 2015 Chicago Auto Show, Cars.com's Kelsey Mays takes a look at the 2016 Toyota Avalon.

(upbeat music) Toyota really wowed us with styling on the current generation of its Avalon full-sized sedan. We're here at the auto show already with some updates on that car, a few years into the current generation.
A big change upfront is the grill. It's now sort of frowning instead of smiling, in these outboard sections, you've got these very vertical turn signals here instead of fog lights, it looks a lot like the updated 2015 Camry sedan. Other changes, in back a little bit more chrome and a little bit of minor restyling in the LED tail lights, but overall, a very similar car, both inside and out. Now, one important change comes in these suspensions. There's a whole bunch of different trim levels for the Avalon. The Touring grade, the sportiest grade, still gets a sportier suspension, but all of the rest of the suspensions in the Avalon have been tuned for more comfort, probably a good thing because the current generation Avalon does kind of ride a little bit firm, for a full-sized sedan. Stay tuned for our driving impressions. The new Avalon goes on sale in Fall 2015. (car engine revving)
