(upbeat music) Hi, I'm Lindsay Bjerregaard. And I'm Alex Braun We're here outside of cars.com headquarters in downtown Chicago. And we're finding out which cars can make or break your first date.
How would you react if he show up in a minivan? (laughs) I might laugh in his face. No, that's the dad's car. You know, like a family car. No way. Not good. not good. But not good. I feel like a 20 year old something guy shouldn't be driving a minivan. And if he is, he's kind of creepy. I might think that he has kids or would possibly like run a daycare or something. Is that a, is that a good or a bad thing? Probably not that much of a good thing, but I drive a minivan, so. (laughs) And how would you react if be showed up in a mini Cooper? I probably wouldn't be talking to him anyway, so. (laughs) There's a lot of head jerking with the coops, with the gear shifting. So, you wouldn't have the ability to talk. I don't even think I can fit in that car. I'd hop in. I mean, I saw him in the Italian job and Mark Wahlberg looked pretty good driving one, so. What kind of guy do you think would be driving one of these? A nerd? Yeah. A sweaty guy, obviously very sweaty. It seems small for a man to be driving. All right. And how about if he showed up in a Camaro? Oh, he likes to race. Sporty guy. He's single and. He's single, he's got a job and trying to save money. No I think now I think he tried to no, no, no, no, no. No (laughs) Small car, fast car, not my thing. He's probably, you know, drag racing. I'm into sports cars. I love my baby, you know, type of thing. (laughs) And then how about if he showed up in a Mazda Miata? Hey. We'll be happy. I'll smile. Single. Hopefully single. Good job. Potential. As long as it's some test drive it, you know, we're, we're good. I'd probably put out on that one. Yeah. That might be something more fun because top down, whatever. I don't know if I'm put out the first date. Wait what year is it? Is it a 2007? Yeah Yeah. I'll probably put out the second. I'll try and make him my husband. And how about if you showed up in a Toyota Prius? Oh, that's good on earth. Energy, gas right? They're good in gas? Yeah. Yeah so it is. So I, I'd be really happy. What do you mean? His saving the earth, you know. Saving the earth. Nothing wrong with that. I think it's kind of an ugly car, to be honest. Nice. Yeah my kind of guy. I'd be a little impressed. I can handle that a little more. So what kind of guy do you think he would be? Um, a smart guy. Cheap. Cheap. So is that a good or a bad thing for you? Bad. Bad. Bad. And last but not the least, a Hummer. Um, trying to compensate for something. (laughs) Honestly, I don't know. I just. I don't think I could (mumbles) Oh yeah. (laughs) I don't like the Homer, but I that's just me. I don't like trucks. I mean, if you can afford to drive the Hummer, if you can afford to put gas on the Hummer that I'm assuming he'd be pretty good date, so. Hummers are not very environment friendly. Too adventurous for me. Yeah I would be scared. I would be scared. Scared. Okay. And probably tried to take us there. No, not on our first date.
